Posted on May 10, 2011 at 8:57pmnot the seals’ call pat. i tried to make this point sunday night and several times since.the team was issued a ‘kill, not capture order’ vis~a~vis mr. obama. i’m sure the cia wanted him alive for interrogation and would have preferred the more logical, ‘capture if possible, kill if necessary’ directive used for high profile targets; but as cic, it was the presidents’ perogative. bin laden could have walked out of the door waving the stars and stripes and whistling yankee doodle and still gotten one between the eyes. as much as i lament the loss of potential info, i’m encouraged that there is still respect and discipline within our military coc. and just for grins bob; mr. obama issued another ‘shoot to kill’order last summer against anwar awlaki ( the radical muslim cleric who fled this country shortly after the fort hood fiasco). and as i said before; i‘m not surprised that the president and ’others’ would want bin laden silenced, but i am dis-heartened that so many of us are are debating the importance of a picture and a burial at sea; we‘re proving that we would rather ’watch the other hand’…b

The DOJ’s refusal to prosecute the new black panthers for voter intimidation, the ATF selling firearms to Mexican drug cartels and then refuse to give information to Congress, the law suits against various states but particularly Arizona. This is the worst attorney general the United States has ever had. The DOJ is no longer about justice but using the DOJ to promote political agendas. One of the worst Attorney General’s in the United States history working for one of the worst Presidents. God help us all.

His goal is to have every department under his control do end runs around congress – something Glenn talked about a year ago, if not earlier. Basically make congress ineffective. And it’s working for him. If this guy gets re-elected in 2012 this country as we knew it will be forever changed, as you can’t completely undo what was done. The analogy I use is trying to repair a broken vase.
