    I was wondering:
    When I was a kid I went to a baseball game & my friend caught a foul ball. He STILL has it.
    Three years ago I when to a Chicago Blackhawks game & caught a puck. I gave it to my daughter.
    So…. does it work the same way at one of these events?

    Too bad the bull couldn’t have taken out a few of those worthless humans watching this horrible sport. It is NOT a sport to slowly torture an animal. For those who compare this to hunting it is not. You go for the kill you don’t slowly let it bleed to death until you finally bring it down to its knees then stab it in his forehead.

      @FLAKE
      Worthless humans? That’s a sick paradigm. I recommend that you seek counseling. You’re not a hunter, are you? Once in a while when you shoot an animal, it doesn’t just tip over and die like you want it to. Sometimes it runs away (very quickly) and you’re forced to track it to where you hope it will finally die. In some cases, you never find it. It survives (at least tempoarily) and gets away from you, and the animal (possibly) gets gangrene and is wasted. Sometimes hunters kill for the trophy only and the meat is wasted. Bullfighting is less barbaric than hunting, and that’s coming from a hunter.

WWE? what they dont get bloody for our entertainment? The downside to American Bloodsport is that you cant eat the loosers afterward. Delicious.

    I always root for the bull. It is barbaric. I believe that any human that un-necessarily inflicts fear, pain, suffering and death on an animal should suffer the same fate multiplied by ten. The human is far more intelligent than the bull and therefore should no better. So anytime I see a bullfighter or fan get hurt I say “Good” they deserve it. Maybe if enough of these barbaric fools get hurt the “sport” will be illegalized. Just because something has been done for a long time doesn’t mean it is right. These cruel barbaric acts enrage me as much as a liberal.

      A part of what draws people to a bull fight is a good opportunity to see the matador gored and or killed,just like the excitement of watching a nascar driver crash and burn. Bull fighting is a neanderthal sport regardless of the matadors skill, but you can’t grill them till you kill them. You would be surprised that the beef you probably ate for lunch was much more disrespected and experienced much more terror not counting the butchering process. Being eaten by a pack of wolves or coyotes in the wild wouldn’t be any more fun though. It is a matter of perspective. Just because most people let others do the killing and the meat is already processed at the grocery store there is no room for holier than thou attitudes. Eating the meat and then whining about the treatment makes us all as guilty if there is any,as the person that buys stolen merchandise is an excessory to the crime.

      When I was a very small boy, I was taken to a bull fight. I cried and screamed – rooting for the bull. I raised so much of a fuss, we had to leave. Not understanding the culture at the time, my only sense was that it was so very wrong and disrespectful to the bull. Being a meat eater (big time), and one who harvests meat often, taking that life to sustain my own and that of my family is a time for showing deep respect (to the animal) and killing in a way that reflects that respect. Shortly after, I saw two dogs mating and the female was crying out in pain. Without thinking I ran out and started beating on the male – trying (in my ignorant young mind) to rescue the female. That sort of blind instinct followed me through life and service and later it helped convince me that all people are indeed born equal and are created by God. We seem to be born with this understanding. Those two events helped shape me – so when I would be scared to death, because I was old enough to understand the risks, I could still act and do the right thing. I don’t think that is courage at all, and just a reaction to one’s understanding about where we came from.

      It’s less barbaric than the sport of hunting (which, as a hunter, I’m obviously not against). Bullfighting bulls are well fed and cared for before their big day, and after the slaughter (eat a steak lately?) the meat is usually given to charity, e.g., orphanages. Bullfighting is an artform, and a far more noble one than Dingy Harry’s annual taxpayer funded Cowboy Poet Festival. In bullfighting, the bull has a chance to inflict harm on its killer. The matadors put themselves at great peril, and, as in this case, so the spectators. The difference is that you don’t LIKE the spectacle of it (but, you probably watch Jersy Shore), so you ignorantly criticize it and actually wish harm to the spectators. You’re pretty warped.

To me this is not a culture, it is a bunch of cowards and selfish sadists who find something this appalling somehow amusing. It is very sick, cruel and should be illegal everywhere.
