I‘ll Take Romney ’Every Minute of Every Day’ Over Obama: Watch Beck’s Epic Rant on SCOTUS Decision

As an impassioned Thursday morning radio broadcast drew to a close, Glenn Beck took time out to discuss what the fallout will be from the Supreme Court’s ruling on Obamacare. He touched on what it will mean for the future and how it will affect laws and regulations moving forward.
Beck also said that while Mitt Romney wasn’t his first choice, and is no “Rand Paul,” he doesn’t hate the Capitalist system, nor does he possess any of the undesirable traits of President Obama. Beck said he would take Romney “every minute of every day” of his life over Obama.
Trying to find the positive in a negative situation, Beck believes that “this decision has just sealed the election in November.”
It was a powerful segment and well worth watching.

How idiotic are you people? How blind are you? You are so afraid of Obama that you cannot see reality. You want Obama out so bad that you are willing to put in a Republican that is almost a duplicate of Obama. They have put so much fear and hate in you that you do not think clearly. All that is in your mind is just like Glenn, “Anybody but Obama,“ ”At least Romney is not as bad as Obama,“ ”At least Romney is not a commie like Obama.” Are you guys listening to yourselves? Posted on June 29, 2012 at 2:49amTrollTrainer, I understand that polls are not all telling, especially if you are just looking at one organization like Rasmussen, but when you see them all, it is a little more telling. They are just a nibble at what is going on. I do know this, that Paul supporters are not voting for Romney and he really needs those votes to win. He is not going to get Democrat votes, so what is he left with? The Republicans, not enough, a handful of Independents, not enough, none of the youth to speak of, so how is he going to win? Election fraud the same way he stole the election from Paul on the national stage, with Dems that are trying to do the same? I think not. If you guys continue to go with Romney, you will ensure another four years. I know you do not like to believe that and fight that thought constantly, but the proof is all around you. You just have to wake up in order to see it. From what you said before, you used to be somewhat awake, but you have fallen for the lies. Sad. If all of you are serious about NoBama, Paul is the one to actually win by a landslide as he would bring in votes from across the spectrum.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 3:14amOkay, cry if you must about how it’s “over” or how the rest of us (non Paul supporters) are stupid and the game is rigged with election fraud conspiracies that can never be proven. You go ahead and sit on the sidelines sniping at the rest of us (those that haven’t given up) cause you don‘t like the rules of the game or how it’s played. Allow your ego and pride to render yourself in the same column with those that don’t even know such a landmark decision was handed down today.
Or you can break free from your cynicism. Reject circular, unprovable, they’re all controlled by the same overlord mentality. Why should you do this? Because there is no smoking gun laying around and even if some of it is true, there still is no smoking gun. And there is never going to be one. That is to say, WIDELY, WIDELY accepted evidence of some cabal or whatever it may be. And Alex Jones does not count. You will continue to be on the sidelines stroking your own ego about how YOU know whats really going on and will have been rendered impotent.
Get in the game Paul supporters! You have an opportunity to really sway not just the election but the very survival of freedom (America).

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 4:14amChalkdust, I am just stating facts. If you do not like the facts, I am sorry. I blog with Paul supporters all over the internet, and they all agree (well the majority anyway, some say they will vote for Gary Johnson) that they will write Pauls name in, if for nothing else, the way they were treated at the state conventions. Facts are facts and should be looked at to make your own decision. Where Romney is guaranteed a loss because he cannot get these and other voting blocks, Paul would bring those blocks to the table for the Republican Party. Knowing these facts should help others to make informed decisions on how they will proceed. If you truly will vote for anyone but Obama and you truly want a conservative Republican in office, the facts show that Paul is the only conservative candidate still in the race that can bring that victory to the Republicans. Facts are Facts and they cannot be changed.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 6:12amEarly on around the 3 minute mark of Beck’s dialogue, Glenn blames Obamacare on us for voting for George Bush in 2000 and to some degree, George H W Bush. He follows that up with a rant against what’s in the White House now and why he is pushing for Mitt Romney in November. He doesn’t say who else we could have voted for in 2000. My question is, wouldn’t his reasons for voting for Romney now have also applied to Bush in 2000?
Listen: “Mitt Romney is ‘not a communist. He’s not a Marxist. He’s not an anti Colonist. He’s not a guy that was raised by radicals. He’s not a guy gonna go out and read Sol Alinsky and then go teach it at college. He’s not that guy. He doesn’t hate the Capitalist System.”
I would suggest that Mr. Beck join in a chorus to plant the seeds now for an Alternative Party to potentially get off the ground within three months of Romney’s victory if the newly elected President immediately begin to return us to our Libertarian roots. The new potential party should be attracting pledges from current Congresspersons with the threat of their jumping ship should they not see the immediate shift in government policy from Romney.

Posted on June 29, 2012 at 6:50am“Facts are facts” Yea, Paul will not be on the ballot. That is a fact. My post was meant for those that are reachable, Westcoast. I guess you’re not one of them.
For everyone else disenfranchised with Romney.
If you vote for Johnson or Paul you will essentially be voting for Romney or Obama depending on how close the race is. Most likely Obama. That’s just the hard reality. If you’re thinking to change the two party system you have to continue voting third party with the attitude of self righteousness or that it has to change at some point, you’re wrong. It’s never going to just“happen”. Election after election will go by with the same results. You could work years trying to establish an alternative party with the same results. It’s already been done with no results. Plus, the purist libertarian party will not gain traction, at least for the next thirty years or so, people see it as flaky. Your opinion of the platform makes no difference in how people see it.
The way to break the machine is to do it very similar to what the progressives did. They have gutted the Democratic Party and just kept the party name. Insertion. If we gut both parties and insert the libertarian mindset in both, one a little less and one a little more, we will have broken the machine at least for a time. It would take many years to accomplish this though as it took progressives many years. The third party method will continue to play into the hands of an established party.

And that’s the problem the ONLY, and it appears ONLY thing Romney has going for him is that he isn’t Obama. He has no policy stances, he has not demonstrated leadership, he runs from his prior record, he allows his campaign staff to pitch BS all day. So much for GB displaying anything close to a rational decision process. We don’t need beliefs in the WH, we don’t need ideology for ideology sake. We need a leader who will move the country forward. “Our experience also demonstrates that getting every citizen insured doesn’t have to break the bank. First, we established incentives for those who were uninsured to buy insurance. Using tax penalties, as we did, or tax credits, as others have proposed, encourages ‘free riders’ to take responsibility for themselves rather than pass their medical costs on to others. This doesn’t cost the government a single dollar. Second, we helped pay for our new program by ending an old one — something government should do more often. The federal government sends an estimated $42 billion to hospitals that care for the poor: Use those funds instead to help the poor buy private insurance, as we did.”

Romney is no more than the presumptive nominee. There is a lawsuit in the works, you know, and if it does make it in front of the federal judge, and I cannot see the judge saying that state law trumps federal law, the delegates could be unbound on the first round in Tampa. Why, then, was he able to re-write the statute making the mandate a tax? Shouldn’t his job have been to decide that it was not applicable under the commerce clause, but was as a tax? Then, it would have been up to Congress to go back and make it the tax. Seems like he is legislating and judicating at the same time.

What he could do in the beginning is hurt the military industrial complex to a point that it would lose its control, he could wipe out every unconstitutional executive order ever signed, he could bring our troops home so that we are not caught with our pants down when the world goes to war after the economic collapse happens (it is inevitable at this point). Romney does not give a crap about our 2nd amendment rights, he wants to replace Obamacare wth his own version, he will write executive order after executive order, just like Bush and Obama. Where is he so much better? Because he says so in a speech? Sheeple is as Sheeple does.

Report Post »Good post, though I believe Romney will be a great president and will move this country way back to the right. BUT we have to give him the senate along with the house to do it. Don’t sweat west coast patriot and his other incarnations. His own words condemn him as an obama supporter. He would sacrifice this country, enslave our children and crap on the constitution to do it. You see, IF he were a true patriot he would never subject this nation to another four years of obama. But, he isn’t. Supposedly he won’t be posting much any more, his words, yet he’s still showing up all over the place. Go figure.

So Beck supporters progressive Santorum.
Beck attacks progressive Gingrich.
Beck makes fun of the only candidate with backbone and would follow the Constitution to the T!
Beck ignores Romney.
Now, Beck is mad about Obamacare? After his support for Romney in a backdoor way he is supporting the guy who created Romneycare. He is supporting the guy in 2007 called for a national healthcare mandate. He is supporting the guy in 2009 praised Obama for using his plan.

Those that do not comply must pay a tax each year they are not properly armed. Then we want the ACLU or some other liberal group to take the law to SCOTUS so they can overturn the law which undos the precedent set today that the Feds can dictate any behavior they want using taxes as a way to enforce what they want.

This might be good for the Conservatives since this has been ruled a tax. this is one small battle in a big war. Did you all know that there are over 80 suits by different Christian Organizations and private businesses in over 80 different courts in many states, suing HHS because of the madate forcing Christians to pay for abortion pills, and contraceptives. —————————————————————————
ROTFLMAO!
Selling out? Dictated vote? You really are an idealist. I envy that in a way, I once was too…back in my youth…but I eventually had to grow up.
Listen, it is like this;
I really like butter pecan ice cream. I mean really love the stuff. It is my ideal.
So I walk into an ice cream parlor and dag-nabbit…no butter pecan. What do I do?
I could stomp my feet, cry, curse out the shop employee and demand butter pecan…
or…I could just leave the shop and not eat any ice cream because I cannot get my butter pecan…
or…I could realize that my choices are either chocolate or vanilla and just shut up and pick one.
Granted, I am really not proving anything by picking another flavor, and I am just not getting that butter pecan orgasm…but there it is. Walking out proves nothing, the shop will not miss my single purchase, it is meaningless to them though it might satisfy some part of me to know they are not getting my business.
But jumping up and down, crying, and demanding butter pecan? Not really an option. I would only look like a total idiot and the shop employee would probably get a good laugh and might even film my tantrum and post it on youtube for all the world to see. No…
I prefer to just em

What if Ron Paul actually won. By a landslide. America wants to change back to the right course. What could he do? He has the same problem with congress Romney…or anyone…would have.
The truth is even an uber-conservative congress would not go along with Paul on most things. He could never get any of his best ideas past congress anyway…
So really…What is the point?
In a way this is a good thing, it was designed this way to keep any one administration from making big changes. It is what has saved us from Obama…With the exception of the health care crap.
