It’s intent from the start was to get people angry with each other and in adversarial confrontations rather than rational debate. Conservative and liberal are simple descriptors, they don‘t properly exhibit the vitriol with which the foaming at the mouth extremists view people they don’t agree with.
Left and right weren’t just picked on accident. They were picked because someone or their ideas can be placed on an imaginary left/right scale. It can be used to pit people against each other, by placing anyone somebody disagrees with on the furthest extremes of the scale. That’s where you get the term extremist from and why they say somebody or some idea can be marginalized.

Also, the reference is to left and right as viewed by the speaker or presiding officer, not from the viewpoint of the delegates.
It does not apply in the UK, where speaker‘s right is the government side and speaker’s left is the oposition side, no matter who is in power.

Her comment about stealing from progressives refers to the Blaze’s habit of using short video clips of leftists haranguing, ranting, or instigating (more commonly simply predicting) violence, rather than generating any original content of its own.
To which I suppose the best reply would be, “Why, when you give us such large targets for free?”
It’s harder to judge her comment about “Blazers,” some of whom appear quite sane and literate, while others are probably not only living in their parents’ basements, but confined there.

They admit to what they are doing, and their feelings to the rest of the conservatives and the right, also with Beck and the Blazers, accusing us of being idiots and the like…also why do they feel that Glenn is inspiring violence?
Also they accuse us of being attempted murderers? And of Beck for telling untruths and lies along with crazy propagandas for the ‘hidden agenda’ unlike them who seek to destroy the contry and make slaves of the people, who ‘want to make democracy less of a likelihood in the nation.’
The one part of this that still amazes me is not that people will fall for such blatant and illogical sets of arguments, it is there are people who spew this vitreolic junk who actually believe in it.

The news media are so quick when speaking of white racism to make statements like its a given that there is racism all over America. I am down here at street level and I just don’t see it. Maybe its amount the filthy rich I truely don’t see it. Maybe its my definition of racism, that being “Someone who based solely on skin color believes someome is superior or inferior. Now I do see this constantly in the news with folks saying that “ white people” are so inferior or just plain stupid as to believe that skin pigment is the deciding factor of intelligence or capacity to care for others who don’t look like them. That is the insult I have had hurled at me for at least 1/2 century. I reject it and as a matter of fact it seems that people who look like me are rediculed and slandered in this country and the world. We are tired of having true racism covered up by the charge being placed at our door of the same. Stop being racist to European decent people. We are generally kind and long suffering but that has its end and I warn you when we do get in your face you will be lucky to come off with a face at all.

The very fact that you haven’t, tells me you have no case and you know you don’t have a case. The follow-up replies are all about how to distribute literature inside a Wal-Mart store without being caught by a security camera. Real revolutionaries? I think NOT. The Bad News Bears comes to mind. Here is one posters reply about infiltrating those evil Wal-Mart stores (note his spelling and grammar):
“Have people who does not work at wallmart put up posters and flyers on aisles, tuck them in beneath boxes and such.”
Their “rhetoric” about the military, was predictable and boring. My husband serves our country and he most certainly IS a hero. He just doesn’t require their acknowledgement or praise to do his job with honor and integrity. He is my Superman. Here is a tidbit of what they had to say, not that anyone should care:
“…but I still think that calling a soldier a hero sullies the idea of true heroes. I certainly understand that many American soldiers are victims, and I have sympathy for that. But they are also participants in the mass killing of thousands of women and children. …I also understand that there are real heroes in the military, like Bradley Manning, but I still feel like the vast majority of American soldiers are immoral for participating in these wars…”
So essentially these people are probably greasy and smelly twenty-year-olds who live in their parents basement and refuse to work. They could never even join one of the precious unions they chersis in the first place because they would have to actually DO something, even if that something was a fluff union job with little to no actual labor involved. Digging into the depths of their couches for spare change is the most work these people will ever do.
And to Mistress Piven’s cronies who read this site to report back to their dominatrix… Please tell her she gives me giggles. She’s kind of like Krusty the Clown, but with more wrinkles and less makeup.

Black racisists get militant. But, when I lived in a mostly black working neighborhood, a smile would turn a lot of people. I have a handicapped son, and the white people discriminated against him just like they did the black kids. They saw this, and assumed he was one of them. He only had black friends. This is just gone too far. Why can’t we ignore skin color and look at the content of character?

I‘d just like to say that I’m a creationist, and it’s completely within my paradigm for the world be older than 6 thousand years, even 4.5 billion would fit in my paradigm, so your idea that those who believe in science can’t at the same time believe in God is, I think, a bit misinformed. You look at science and see chaos, I look at science and see the miracles of God, and I certainly don’t begrudge you your opinion, so I see no reason for you to insult mine.
As for death threats and foul language, these are not things I have seen on the Blaze in any significant amount. And even if the occasional vitriol does pop up, it makes no sense at all to use that to define all Blazers. Much like those who lean to the left, we’re all individuals here, the difference is where those leaning to the left tend to favor collectivism, we at the Blaze tend to argue for individualism.
I‘ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I would rather be poor in a capitalist society than poor in a socialist society. In a capitalist society, I have the power to change my situation, to lift myself out of poverty through hard work and determination. People living in a socialist society have no power over their own destines, and that, in my mind, is no better than slavery.

The facts (not that the left has ever cared about the facts) are; the lower your IQ and education the MORE likely you are to be liberal. Where do Democrats draw votes from? The largely uneducated, drop out and drug ridden cesspools of inner cities. Where do conservatives draw their votes from? People who are employed and hard working who have initiative and are largely self sufficient. I have worked for 30+ years in a science and technology area where most of my peers have IQ’s above 150 and there are not many (maybe 10%) liberals. Why? Because liberalism is abject failure. It doesn‘t work and if you had a brain you would understand why it can’t work. So to any liberal that thinks they advance their cause by some how demeaning conservatives as “illiterate”… You make yourself look like a joke and we are laughing at you!
