‘I’m Here to F**k You Up!’: Fists Fly as Adults Brawl in Epic Showdown at GA Little League Game

Fight Between Adults Erupts at Columbus, Georgia, Little League GameLittle League can get a little intense. But a game held on Friday night upped the ante, taking a bizarre turn when two adult men erupted into a brawl. The scuffle — a terrible example for the children who observed it — landed Charles Davidson, 38, and Iram King, 36, each with a count of disorderly conduct.

The epic showdown, which was captured on video, allegedly commenced in the aftermath of the game during which Northern Little League defeated Harris County. While the children were wrapping things up, the adults were apparently just getting started on what officials are calling an embarrassing display for the city of Columbus.

Here’s how the Ledger-Enquirer describes the incident:

In a report on the dispute, police said Davidson was was playing loud music near the right field fence after Northern won the game. That’s when a woman identified as Rose King and Iram King came over and she demanded that Davidson turn down the music. Chadwick said some teams bring their music to play between innings, before the game or after the game.

“It gives it a little better atmosphere,” he said. “From my understanding that is what caused it all.”

Police said Davidson turned down the music, but words were exchanged about the players. Iram King started to walk toward Davidson when he said, “What do you want,“ or ”Why are you walking over here.”

A witness said Iram King told Davidson,”I’m here to f… you up.”

Davidson’s reply was, “Well, here I am,” before police said the men tussled.

As the men pushed, shoved and punched, the rest of the audience — including the children — looked on. In chaotic footage of the incident, a woman can be heard screaming, “What are you doing?,” as the fight rages on. Here are some of the other lines from the unbelievable clip:

“Hey, be grown-ups here!”

“We’ve got class!”

“There’s kids out here watching this stuff!”

“Somebody needs to call the police!”

Reaction to the spectacle has ranged from disbelief to nauseation.

“It‘s about the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in Little League in all the years I’ve been doing it,” said Bernard Ashley, an administrator for a local league who has seen his fair share of games over his more than three decades working in the field.

The suspects will likely be barred from future Little League games.

All I saw was some trouble-making bruthahs getting their butts beat. You know it was probably a black team-white team game, and the black dads were saying the umpire was “rayciss” for not calling a pitch to the backstop a “strike” or something of that nature. They are used to white people cowering in their midst, and bit off more than they could chew here.

Am I just reading into it too much but seems more and more confrontations, Denny’s fights and apparently this little league incident included people of color? I thought the Communist-in-Chief was the ‘great uniter.’ Prep and pray, the end has arrived.

I witnessed this sort of behavior at my son’s Optimist League baseball games more than 20 years ago. It never failed that an altercation would happen. Why bring racism into it? It’s about dumbasses. Parents who were failed athletes living vicariously through their children. Grow up a little.

Sadly, I have to concur with you, ARES338. The first Little League game I ever attended was to watch my cousins play with my aunt. This was in a well-to-do town and all white players. The adults acted so nasty to one another, I went and sat in the car for the last innings. And a shoving match did break out.

When our son was in Little League, I didn’t stay for the games. The adults were much too aggressive. Fortunately for me, our son pulled his ham string and only played in two games that season before he aged out of the program.

It seems, from watching other events, that a lot of the confrontations come from pride. “Nobody is going to tell ME what to do.” And the next step is, “If you want me to do this [turn down the music, stop shouting, stop throwing ice cubes, whatever...] I’m gonna do that three times harder.” It’s kind of sad in that I thought most of us managed to graduate from third grade years ago.

When I am attacked I will defend myself. The police did what was right. Arrest them all & let the judge sort it out. Adults? What a great example for those children! We have sports so they won’t beat the crap out of each other!

As a conservative I can say that it’s not just liberals. Conservatives can be just as stupid when it comes to their kids and sports. Parents often act like they are part of the team, their not. Same with professional sports. Many fans just get to carried away and leave their common sense at home. Really? Getting into a fight over a game? When you sit back and think about like a rationale human being, you see that it is very stupid indeed.

I know most people will not like what I am about to say here, mainly because you have probably been brought up under the “blacks are no different than whites” school indoctrination.

Most blacks do not have the intelligence to verbally argue a point, so they turn to violence to express their anger.

Battles: That‘s like saying most whites can’t cope with spousal arguments so they beat their wives. Or most whites in the south live in trailers cause they’re not intelligent. You have no leg to stand on because like my points yours has nothing to back it up. You are basing this off your own racist beliefs, which is a biased and gives no credibility to your statements.

I think its more of a generalization that they pull the race card than go violent…but both appear to generally to be correct. Just as it is generally correct that most Whites will back down, appease when they do!

Battles is right: Most blacks are uneducated. There very culture looks down on education. People who lack education and communication skills resort to violence to express themselves instead of doing it verbally. If the truth hurts, you should learn to deal with your feelings a lot better.

OK, BATTLES, I am a young Kenyan who has been here since 2005. I am black. Now, let me challenge you to an intellectual fight. You have already concluded that I am intellectually a dwarf. So let’s start. What subject shall we choose? hmmm, let’s choose English. And no, I have never ever been in an English literature class. Ever. I only did English up to high school. But I am choosing it because it is your first language. And I want to see myself challenge you in your first language. Even with the limited English classroom exposure that I had. Are you going to take me up on this? For example, let’s play Scrabble. Or Words with Friends. Or Scramble with Friends. READY?? Respond.

Halloween is right. I married a black guy, and we’re a bunch of dumb, dumb, dummies around here. My husband is so uneducated, he’s still a year away from getting his doctorate of law degree. Don’t even get me started with my five year old… he waited until he was four years old before he started multiplying numbers by two. Don‘t know what’s up with my daughter though. Every time I try to get her to go to bed she keeps looking at those little rectangular things that have paper and scribbles inside… I think I heard someone call those things “books” once. Shoot, if everybody in my family were white, I suppose we’d be a bunch of smarties or something. Some of us might have actually figured out how to read and use those little rectangular things with the paper and scribbles inside… sure, I’m white, but I didn’t have the sense to marry a white person, so I haven’t figured out that whole “reading” thing yet. The scary thing is, I homeschool my kids; like my husband, I don’t have a doctorate either. All I have is one of those Bachelor of Science things.

HALLOWEEN, I extend the challenge to you too. Would you not want to play some English game with a black – especially a black from Kenya? You know how dumb these blacks are? How they don’t know English (not their first language)? So come on, this is easy. Brooke Lorren, I LOVE YOU!

Maybe you need to learn a few things and stop talking to just white people, I can say that I am white, so don’t bash me. It is always nice to broaden ones horizons, their are many inventors, doctors, lawyers, etc. that are African American.

So the adults act like children? No wonder our society is in the death throws…as we did not see the whole thing, can’t make much of a judgement except to say, it should never have happened period, where are the examples for the kids to follow in all of this? If the description is true in the story line, then it seems someone had a beef to begin with, and to me that person should be charged, not the Davidson fella, who was attacked. Also, from what I heard, the King fella was a police officer, will he get off scott free, and the Davidson fella be charged, follow this one Blaze, I want to know what happens!

People are just so volitile anymore. Youth athletics are so competetive that people will do or say anything to give their kids what they beleive is an advantage. Truth is that maybe only one or two kids may get any future advantage in a youth sports club like baseball or soccer. It should be a fun thing for the kids to teach them team work but the parents think their kid is the next Mickey Mantle and anyone who says other wise gets a shot in the mouth. American parents really need to step back and see what they are doing to their kids.
