This Exists: Introducing the 2-Inch Muzzle-Loading Desk Cannon — See It in Action!

Meet the Pocket Artillery Mini-Cannon.

That’s right, you can actually buy a 2-inch muzzle-loading desk cannon that uses black powder to fire a micro munition the length of a football field.

Now you can unleash your inner Napoleon anytime — even while sitting at the office.

Want to See a Real 2 Inch Muzzle Loading Desk Cannon in Action?

The process is simple to anyone who has watched “Master and Commander” or “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Want to See a Real 2 Inch Muzzle Loading Desk Cannon in Action?

You start by inserting the fuse, and a half-pea sized amount of black powder into the stainless steel mini blaster. Then you pack the tiny munition into the barrel.

Keep in mind it may be considered a weapon in your state, is generally classified as an antique replica firearm, and it actually shoots BBs. This pint-sized artillery piece could definitely poke an eye out, and is clearly not for kids.

Once you light the real 2-mm fuse, it’ll launch .177-caliber BB’s up to 100 yards.

Chuck Norris crafted this fine mini desk cannon. He starts with a fistful of molten metal, and as it cools, he forms it into this perfect specimen. He than buffs it to a lustrous shine by rubbing it at high speeds on his beard.
      Does that work?

Sweet! I built a 5 incher that accepts a firecracker in the breech, and a .22 cal lead pellet, waaaay fun. Wanna know the best part? I built it LEGALLY in my high school metal shop. Got an A+ too. Many of us built kit replica arms in class as well. I am dating myself here, it was another world then, wasn’t it?

Reminds me of when I was a kid (we had the heavier duty old style soda cans) and we would slice off the top and bottom (except for the last one used as the base) and adding ten or so together. If I remember right, we poured a small amount of some kind of cooking oil into the cannon until it reached the bottom. Then inserted a tennis ball, then held matches under the base to heat the oil.

    Boom! Tennis ball mortars!

Legally it is still considered a “firearm” or a “dangerous ordinance”. If you get caught bringing one of these into your office building, or even carrying it in your car, you can and probably will be charged with carrying a concealed weapon…at a minimum. If your an ex-felon this “toy” will get you sent back to prison. There are legal implications for things like this. Naivety is no defense when standing in front of a judge.

Not in Texas! Or most “civilized” places in this country. It dose not use fixed ammunition or fall under the 1968 gun control laws. If it is illegal in your state it is because your state has declared muzzle loaders illegal. Myself; I would move, you may do as you wish.

You’re right, pointing and/or shooting one can get you in t-r-o-u-b-l-e. The headline said 2 inch muzzle loading. I was thinking 2 inch diameter, not 2 inch long. That could be interesting and a real crowd pleaser.

Not considered a firearm by the Feds. Not covered by GCA ‘68. If you’re ignorant enough to live in a “people’s republic” type state, where it could be illegal, that’s your problem.

[In the late 60’s, a weapons collector friend owned a small SXS shotgun with small letters “RIOT” stamped on the action
Don’t remember the maker, but it was a powerful and tidy little weapon
Have never seen another one like it]

@CAT. I think the shotgun you mentioned that had RIOT stamped on it mighta been a Browning and I believe it was also P.D. issued in some areas. You can still find ‘em around but it was a short barreled 10 and/or 12 ga. pump. “Crowd Pleaser” was nickname.

      Thanks for the info
No dealer I’ve talked to in the last 15 years knows what the heck I’m talking about

The acquaintance was a 10-year Navy MP and it may have been an issue, not sure
But I liked the feeling of the weapon, and it was quite accurate
However it wasn’t a pump, it was a break action, twin trigger
A bit slow on the re-load, but with the correct load, it did severe damage to pine 2 X12’s, at 7-8 feet

America needs a leader now, one that can
      • Unite the people
      • Communicate American values
      • Inspire the people
      • Make tough decisions to tackle American issues
      • Be acceptable to the other side (at least to an extent)

If the most conservative candidate cannot do that, then we do the Nation a disservice. We chose Obama because he spoke like a Greek god, we could hang out with him anyday, he was someone we could drink a glass of beer with He looked charming, he talked a good talk about the issues, oh and it was time for someone of his pigmentation type. Where has that gotten us so far?

Somehow we have to end the vicious circle of from one extreme position of ideology to the other. America is looking for a leader by birth and at heart, not a leader by default or inheritance.

It seems that the at the depth of the Contraceptive conspiracy is not only an attempt to change the top tier of the GOP candidates, but to also change to topic of the debate and to sway by deceiving many voters, and to also rile up the passion of a base that sees the fight come close home

Actually as a Veteran Tanker I can tell you that “Off road-ing” In an Abrams Isn’t fun at all. Think….Tin can with a marble in it……Shake vigorously. There are some nasty physics involved like inertia and kinetic energy that make it painful. A tank does not care who it kills. When 72 tonnes of inertia transfers from the tank to your body then out the other side and back into the tank the fun is over. Remember that a tank has a semi ridged track (in comparison to a 4-wheel vehicle) so it has to move past its center of gravity and “Tip” over the edge of a hill, at any sort of speed this simply means 72 tonnes smashing your teeth together. The cool video they ARMY has on the website describing MOS 19K shows all sorts of thing that anyone who wasn’t making a “show off” video would never do. There are no seat belts. Crushing cars and toppling trees is fun but rough terrain and/or mud is just plain miserable oof not to mention the dust, yikes. Don;t get me wrong I loved my time on the Tank but it’s no cake walk.
