Iranian Students Volunteering As Human Shield Near Nuke Sites

Hundreds of students in Iran gathered at the uranium conversion plant in central Iran on Tuesday to form a temporary human shield for the facility.
Students reportedly locked arms and formed a human chain around the plants perimeter to show that Iranians support the sacrifice their lives in the event of an aerial strike by Israel.
The Iranian students, according to Ha’aretz, “held a noon prayer session in front of one of the plants, and students from Isfahan universities shouted ‘Death to Israel’ and “Death to America.’ They vowed to resist in the event of an attack.”
News outlets speculate that the plant in Isfahan and the neighboring uranium enrichment plant of Natanz are two theoretical targets that could be hit in the event of an Israeli Air raid.
Other potential targets include the “heavy reactor site of Arak, a new enrichment site at Fordo, the nuclear power plant in southern Bushehr and the medical reactor in western Tehran.”
A poll earlier this month showed that more Israelis would support an attack on Iranian nuclear sites than oppose it by a 41-39 margin.
Similar polling taken by CBS of American views, however, shows that more than half of Americans believe the Iranian threat can be contained without a military strike.

And admit that the NUKES

And accept it that soon
You’ll be reduced to just bones…
If your time to you
Is worth savin’
Then you better start thinking
and leave it alone…
For the times they are a-changin’.
Sure, big groups of you idiots ‘Occupy’ ALL the sites so we don’t miss any.

Posted on November 17, 2011 at 7:12amWrong, we shouldn’t have even expended the resources necessary to furnish, equip and detonate a nuclear weapon over the middle east. Rather, we should have left, and let those left furnish, equip and continue on killing each other in the war that has been waged in that region for thousands of years. Tell me I’m wrong. You’re also telling Ronald Reagan he was wrong for leaving the middle east when he realized:::
“Perhaps we didn’t appreciate fully enough the depth of the hatred and the complexity of the problems that made the Middle East such a jungle. Perhaps the idea of a suicide car bomber committing mass murder to gain instant entry to Paradise was so foreign to our own values and consciousness that it did not create in us the concern for the marines’ safety that it should have.
“In the weeks immediately after the bombing, I believe the last thing that we should do was turn tail and leave. Yet the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics forced us to rethink our policy there. If there would be some rethinking of policy before our men die, we would be a lot better off. If that policy had changed towards more of a neutral position and neutrality, those 241 marines would be alive today.”
Oh but that Ron Paul, he’s so evil for saying THE EXACT SAME DAMN THING. And you people (those currently incensed at my ‘callous’ and ‘mean’ comments…) call yourselves Reagan Republicans? Pfffft. You WISH.

Report Post »Just_Bubba
Posted on November 16, 2011 at 5:53pmA daisy cutter came to my mind as well. The originals used powdered aluminum and now I think they use a powdered depleted uranium. It leaves a hole in the atmosphere absent of oxygen for a large area. Gen III Daisy Cutter = bad a$$ weapon. They should then follow on with a dozen rocket assisted bunker busters at several second intervals to get to the deep underground areas and then cave them in with another Daisy Cutter seismic event. No boots on the ground at all.

Report Post »They see Islam as something that was forced upon their ancestors and not part of the heritage of the Persian people – and many would like to return to the Zoroastrian religion that the ancient Persian practiced.
If this is true I feel very bad for the Iranian people who would like to be free of the tyrannical Islamic rulers who may cause their demise.
