Iranian Warships Pass Through Suez Canal for Only the Second Time Since 1979

Iranian warships have reportedly sailed through Egypt’s Suez Canal into the Mediterranean Sea as speculation continues to grow that a conflict between Iran and Israel could be on the horizon. The passage, only the second by Iranian forces through the canal since the Islamic republic’s 1979 revolution, was first reported by Iran’s semi-official Mehr news agency Saturday. BBC News reports on the advance:
“The destroyer Shahid Qandi and its supply vessel Kharg have passed through the Suez Canal but their destination remains unclear. Navy chief Admiral Habibollah Sayari told the Irna agency the mission was a show of might and a ‘message of peace.’
Two Iranian navy vessels entered the Mediterranean in February last year. Israel called it a ‘provocation.’
Admiral Sayari was quoted by Irna as saying: ‘The strategic navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has passed through the Suez Canal for the second time since the Islamic Revolution.’
The mission conveyed ‘the might’ of Iran to regional countries and Tehran‘s ’message of peace and friendship.’”
A source told Reuters that the two Iranian naval ships received permission to cross through the canal by Egyptian armed forces and “could be on their way to the Syrian coast.” Reuters notes that Iran and Syria agreed to cooperate on naval training a year ago, and Tehran has no naval agreement with any other country in the region. Both Iran and Syria are hostile to Israel.
The news comes as tensions between Iran and Israel appear to be reaching a breaking point, with many speculating that Israel may strike Iran to stop its suspected nuclear weapons program. CNN reports that Israel has also blamed Tehran for attacks on Israeli targets in India, Georgia and Thailand.
CNN notes that the United States and the European Union bolstered sanctions against Iran after a November report by the International Atomic Energy Agency that said Iran could be developing nuclear weapons. Iran insists its program is strictly for civilian energy purposes.
Western nations had welcomed a letter from Iran Friday offering to resume stalled nuclear talks, however, the Obama administration still suspects that sanctions will not deter Tehran from continuing its nuclear program as military action appears eminent. The Guardian reports that “there is a strong current of opinion within the administration – including in the Pentagon and the state department – that believes sanctions are doomed to fail, and that their principal use now is in delaying Israeli military action, as well as reassuring Europe that an attack will only come after other means have been tested.”
The Egyptian government allowed Iranian ships to first pass through the canal in February 2011, just days after the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak.

WE are not in any type of shape to fight Russia, China, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Afgan., Yemen,Jorden, possibly Turkey, N. Korea at the same time. USA, Isreal, UK, France, Germany, Canada, Japan, and S korea would be out manned. I am sure I left out a bunch of smaller Islamic Nations would join Russia and China. Not sure where Saudia and a few other smaller Arab nations would actually land in this. But it will be one giant fur ball. We need to tap our supply and get every one ready for some ugly times here in the US, Everyone should be Armed.

WE would respond to allies( or what is left of our allies) WE know for a fact that the media will not report on shipments of Iranian weapons going into Iraq. Target – Tel Aviv
Bio/Chem – Wide panic and political instability within their capital; terror strikes at key political and national symbols, assassination of key poltical/military targets and infrastructures.
Radiologic – Actual or faked; psychological terror. Extensive panic and disruption in area.
Nuclear – Good bye city; decapitation strike (admitidly not likely; could happen)
Remember Iran would use WMD’s in terror strikes at key targets for maximum PSYCHOLOGICAL attacks and media attacks; the message would be clear – WE HAVE YOU, WHAT DO YOU DO NOW?
Likely response: Iran turns into a glow in the dark nation. Pick roughly 100 key targets, within four hours 80% disappear in man made suns.

If you look at the efforts of the last few administrations, and you figured the unstated goal is to bring down the U.S. and Capitalism, you could not have written a better game plan. Increase debt exponentially, release top secret info to enemies, open borders so enemies can set up behind enemy lines, stop any sources for self reliant energy, dumb down the educational system and stop teaching math and history, defund and demoralize the military and populace, alienate the allies of the country, diminish patriotism, let colonization occur from illegal aliens, over regulate, and a handful of others. At what point, do you say hummm, is this ALL coincidental? I am sure it is, let’s just go back to that movie or football game and trust all politicians:)

White Sands Missile Range, front gate, is just on the other side. The actual testing is probably 30-miles East of us, past the 5000-foot mountain. They’ve been testing some bunker busters that are absolutely terrifying. They publish radio announcements, “We should hear more sonic booms from White Sands today…”. Sonic Booms don’t travel through the earth with the force that makes your walls do “waves.” And children scream. And adults lurch about 3-feet in the air.

Posted on February 18, 2012 at 11:54pmIf Iran were truly seeking Nukes only for energy (despite sitting on hundreds of years worth of oil reserves) wouldn’t it have been easier for the President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollah to have come out in unison and denounced all violence by Hezbollah and recognized Israel’s right to exist? Perhaps ask Hezbollah, Syria and the rest of the Arab nations to do the same. That would have eliminated most of the sanctions and MAYBE they would actually have been taken serious in their nuclear interests. As it is, they are just trying to by a bit more time from this administration to finish it off and get things in place. Isn’t there something in the Bible or Christian theology about “the Holy land running knee deep in blood” or it “taking 7 months to clean up the bodies” in relation to Persia and the end of days? No, that’s probably just a movie. Carter has to be tickled pink; there is finally a President that makes him relevant in the news again and actually makes his administration look like only the second worst in modern history.

They are keen observers of things within our society (vulnerabilities to our collective thinking and infrastructure) that we blindly take for granted. We forget that their ancient, pre-Islamic civilization (Zoroastrian — the great precursor to all things Christian) once rivaled or surpassed all others for a long time.
