Iran‘s Ahmadinejad Calls for the ’Annihilation’ of Israel

In his Ramadan speech to ambassadors of Islamic countries, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad seemingly called for the annihilation of Israel, saying “Anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom.”
The speech, published on the leader’s website Thursday, was given ahead of “Qods Day” (Jerusalem Day), an annual Iranian anti-Zionist event initiated by Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, the Jerusalem Post reports. Jerusalem Day falls on August 17 this year.
Ahmadinejad said it was the Zionists who were “behind the scene of the world’s main powers, media, monetary and banking centers.”
“They are the decision makers, to the extent that the presidential election hopefuls [of the USA] must go and kiss the feet of the Zionists to ensure their election victory,” he added, most likely referring to GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s recent trip to Israel.

Ahmadinejad added that “liberating Palestine” would solve all the world’s problems, although he did not elaborate on exactly how that might work.
“Qods Day is not merely a strategic solution for the Palestinian problem, as it is to be viewed as a key for solving the world problems,” he said.
He added: “Anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom.”
The Iranian president also explained that Israel has encouraged “the dominance of arrogant powers in the region and across the globe” and that Arab countries like Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Syria and Turkey have been affected by Israel’s “plots.”
Calling for the eradication of Israel is not a first for Ahmadinejad. In a 2005 speech, the Iranian leader spoke about Israel using a Persian phrase that translates literally as “wiped off the page of time.”
This is the same leader that said the Holocaust — in which roughly 6 million European Jews were murdered — is a lie.

How would we feel if outside nations came here to exploit us and prop up their choice of rulers?
No wonder they are mad…. it has nothing to do with our freedom or prosperity.

How many people on here really want Obama to arbitrarily exercise power to executively declare war without congressional legislation, have unlimited access to our tax money and resources, have no accountability to the people while using the blood of our sons and daughters, and have us in continous battles without winning anything? Next January, Obama and all his followers should be given the chance to move to Iran to fix all their problems.(That’s what they crave more than anything else, righting the worlds wrongs and fixing things, right?) If they survive sharia law and do to that country, what they’re trying to do it ours, all will turn out well. If they can screw things up there, as much, as they have here, over the last 4 years, Iran will be destroyed without a single bullet ever being fired. I‘m not convinced that the people running the show in Israel aren’t just as evil as the people running the show here. I’m not all together convinced that the translation is correct, and I‘m not sure that he’s calling for a destruction of the country rather than the destruction of it’s leadership, nor do I trust the media in Jerusalem anymore than I do our own. Of all that, the only thing I know for sure is his military is weak and doesn’t really pose a threat to anyone. I‘m pretty sure he’s a lunatic, but it’s based on our media, which I don’t really trust either. Regardless, I won’t support a preemptive attack by anyone. If Israel feels the need to attack Iran, that‘s on them I don’t want anything to do with it. If Iran attacks Israel, I’d say we should rush to the aid of our allies as long as we have a congressional declaration of war with clear cut objectives and no nation building. The bottom line is my gut is telling me not to trust the people that beat the war drums from the time I served until now. In my oppinion those people have proven themselves to be despicable monsters and liars and the only people suffering from it are our military men and innocents. Besides, I believe that if we’re involved in a preemptive attack it will escalate into a 3rd world war and a total collapse of the US.

My platform is basically this: I am going to reinstitute the draft (no deferrals), I will activate all Reserves, all former offficers will be ordered back to active duty, we will start driling, I will move the entire fleet to the Med and Indian Ocean, we will build walls along the Canadian and Mexican borders that will make the Great Wall of China look diminuitive, all people on Medicaid will be required to work in any way possible to rebuild the infrastructure of this country, there will be massive tax cuts, criminals will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, prisons will be built and will be self suffficient, hard labor prisons will be the norm, capital punishment will be required in schools, public and private, USMC squads (locked and loaded) will patrol certain schools in certain districts until order is restored, there will be no inaguaral ball (we have work to do, not throw multi million dollar parties), and that’s just in my first 30 minutes on the job.

Iran may treat its own people like crap but it doesn’t treat other countries the same. There a trade partner like China if we want them to be. Iran doesn’t have a nuke, no proof there developing a nuke and they have the right to prove their people power with it under the nuclear non proliferation treaty. Pakistan has nukes and they never used them.
