The Occupy Movement has all but disappeared from media coverage and prominence in America, but that didn‘t stop Iran’s so-called “supreme leader” from praising its tenets on Thursday. According to CNS News, the oft-dubbed radical theocratic leader said that Occupy is merely evidence that many people around the world are “losing their patience” with the United States‘ and Israel’s purported global dominance.

In this photo released by the official website of the Iranian supreme leader's office, supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, center, parliament speaker Ali Larijani, right, chief of Expediency Council, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, second right, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, second left, and judiciary chief Sadeq Larijani, left, listen to Iran's national anthem, at the opening session of the Nonaligned Movement, NAM, summit, in Tehran, Iran, Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012. “The 99-percent movement of the American people against the centers of wealth and power in America and the widespread protests of the people in Western Europe against the economic policies of their governments show that the people are losing their patience with this situation,” Khamenei was quoted as saying by the Fars News Agency. “Torture and assassination are permissible and completely ignored if they are carried out by America, the Zionists and their puppets”
He also said that the current dynamic is a “faulty international structure” and that “it is necessary to remedy this irrational situation.” These comments were made at the 16th Non-Aligned Movement Summit (NAM) in Tehran, Iran, an event that spans from August 26 through August 31.
CNS describes the assembly as follows: “The summit now taking place in Iran includes 120 developing nations that sought to remain outside the U.S. and Soviet spheres of influence during the Cold War.” U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and other heads of state are in attendance, providing Iran with a platform from which to claim that the U.S. no longer corners the market on dictating what should and shouldn’t occur on a global scale.

Khamenei’s comments covered other issues as well. On the nuclear front, the Iranian leader said that his country “has never been after nuclear weapons.” As far as the Arab Spring goes, he encouraged those at the meeting to embrace the movement and to use it to boost the NAN’s standing in international issues and affairs.
“And finally, we should consider the Islamic Awakening in the region and the fall of the dictatorships in North Africa, which were dependent on America and were accomplices to the Zionist regime, as a great opportunity. We can help improve the ‘political productivity’ of the Non-Aligned Movement in global governance,” he said, going on to highlight how the group can better embed itself in cultural and economic globalism.
“We can prepare a historic document aimed to bring about a change in this governance and to provide for its administrative tools. We can plan for effective economic cooperation and define paradigms for cultural relationships among ourselves,” Khamenei added.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 8:01pmJerk, why are you so Ignorant? So a religion that wants people and requires people to kill the Infidel and slay them wherever they are, is not sinning? So we say just bomb them and your calling us Sinners? So Idiot would you rather live under Sharia Law where people do whatever they want, kill whomever they want, blow themselves up to kill others? Or, a Country that try’s to protect peoples rights and puts the Sin on each Individual where God decides who wins and who loses? When the President makes the call to go to War, he’s the one thats going to be acountable to God! Read the Bible and you’d understand it! As far as asking who’s the Sinner? Idiot, we all Sin! Even you Bozo! As far as making the statement “Nuke them till they Glow” its a statement! As far as your statement “who’s the sinner”, maybe you should have asked the Jews before they were exsterminated, or the European Countries that were demolished and the Millions of Deaths Hitler Perpatrated on the World? You Blogging that were Sinners we know that! But we also know there are Evils in this World and would not think twice about using a Nuclear Weapon to kill millions! So, do we turn our backs on what they say and say were not going to Sin? Or do we step up to Protect the World from Evil Dicatators? Since your so Intellegent, tell me what does the Bible say about Peacemakers on Earth? If someones being killed would you stand by and let it happen? Yes, your a Sinner! Our positionis NO!

Posted on August 31, 2012 at 3:19amIn 1979/80, some seniors hung a sign on an 8th floor window of the Drexel U Calhoun Hall dorm window. It said, “Nuke Iran until it glows!” I remember that it upset a few Persian students. At about this same time, someone produced a “Let’s play cowboys and Iranians” poster. 30 plus years later, we see that we were right. The situation has not gotten better”

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 2:00pmReceived this in an email today…
We are asking everyone to say a prayer for “Darkhorse” 3rd Battalion 5th Marines and their families.
They are fighting it out in Afghanistan & they have lost 12 marines in 4 days.
IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE the message spread if more people could pass it on. Nothing has been in the media about these guys
because no one seems to care. They are:
Justin Allen, 23; Brett Linley, 29; Matthew Weikert, 29;
Justus Bartett, 27; Dave Santos, 21; Chase Stanley, 21;
Jesse Reed, 26; Matthew Johnson, 21; Zachary Fisher, 24;
Brandon King, 23; Christopher Goeke, 23; Sheldon Tate, 27.
All are Marines that gave their lives for YOU this week.
PLEASE HONOR THEM by forwarding this.

Are you talking about the Ha’avara Agreement? If you are, then you are right, it is a dismaying fact of history. However, things are seldom plain and simple, and there are many sides to that story.
To draw a comparison, take the Jewish trustees who helped murder fellow Jews in the camps. There are many sides to that as well.

Perhaps –in an attempt to better our relationship with Iran– we should review their laws, and try to find a loophole which would allow another farm animal to fill the void in their love lives, left by the vacationing sheep & goats.
That, or we might simply ship over Rosie O’Donnell, Rosanne Barr, Janene Garafalo & –of course– Sean Penn & Matt Damon.
