BAGHDAD (AP) — Two senior Iraqi officials say the government has obtained confessions from captured insurgents who claim al-Qaida is planning suicide attacks in the United States and Europe during the Christmas season.
Iraqi Interior Minister Jawad al-Bolani told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the botched bombing in central Stockholm last weekend was among the alleged plots the insurgents revealed.
Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, in an interview from New York, called the claims “a critical threat.”
Both al-Bolani and Zebari said Iraq has informed Interpol of the threat, and alerted authorities in the U.S. and European countries of the possible danger.
Neither official mentioned a specific countries in Europe that are allegedly being targeted.

I’ve had these CMHA Nazis follow me home and pull me over in my driveway and approach me with a taser drawn, for no reason. After arguing about them being outside of their jurisdiction, they informed me that the Sheriff Dept had deputized them and that they’re essentially have the same power as regular police. They then proceeded to give me a ticket for loud music after conversing with a supervisor about what charges they could possibly trump up on me.
I’m still wondering why if these Nazis have the power as regular city-paid police, then why aren’t they just with the local dept, where if something happens citizens can have a point of recourse…
Of course, this is just so that they can expand their authority without input from the people, from whom their authority originates..
