Is Chelsea Clinton’s TV Career At NBC Over?

Back in mid-November the Blaze reported that NBC News hired Chelsea Clinton as a full-time, on-air reporter.
Less than two months into the NBC News gig, the New York Post reports say that Chelsea may be finished as an on-air reporter. In the Post story we learn that the former First Daughter apparently signed a “90-day” contract, and it is unclear if she will be signing a new deal when this one wraps up.
The short term nature of the Chelsea Clinton era at NBC contradicts a statement made by NBC News President Steve Capus when her hiring was announced:
Capus says that he hopes this is the beginning of a long relationship and he reiterates the fact that Clinton is a serious hire.
Can the network really be happy with Ms. Clinton’s work? She’s not exactly setting the media world on fire. After her first piece aired last month, Hank Stuever, a pop culture writer at the Washington Post wrote;
“Either we’re spoiled by TV’s unlimited population of giant personalities or this woman is one of the most boring people of her era.”
NBC is denying the Post story calling it “100% false” and adding, “We hope she will be with us a for a long time.”
Only time will tell. Stay tuned.

If she doesn’t then she takes the same chance as we do about being in the right spot at the right time. Not a chance in Hell of that happening!

But, then again, the airwaves are being inundated by affirmative action hires who are no better than she is so why hold her to a higher standard. All they have to know how to do is read a teleprompter.

Yes, she will do all right since daddy, thanks to being a former President, is now worth about 100 million. She would never have landedt the job without having famous parents….she would never have passed the interview… To start your career at a major broadcasting company like she did was not a matter of hard work, talent and luck…it is pure BS to think otherwise.

The hard one to work with was Hilrod, she treated her detail very badly. She seemed to think they were idiots and servants that should shine her shoes.
The young aldy resigned and is now on Dallas PD.

The last “story” Mike Opelka covered was COMPLETE BS. That “seal” Chris Kyle that claimed he “punched” Jesse Ventura in the face is a coward and a LIAR.
If Mike Opelka had a decent bone in his body, he would RETRACT that BS story, and try to gain whatever shred of credibility he could maybe recover.

The event this man spoke of never happened. I have been to Mc P’s many times since leaving the Navy. I was never there alone. I was always accompanied by other people. If this happened 6 years ago, someone would have known of it before now. Certainly in the UDT/SEAL community it would have been known. This has to be news to all of us.
I have always opposed the war in Iraq but I have never spoken or wished any ill will towards the soldiers. My heart aches that soldiers have died or been wounded because this war should never have taken place. I am perplexed over the agenda this man has and why a fellow Navy Seal would tell a lie about an event that never happened.
Clearly between this story and the previous week’s story about supposedly getting pulled over for tailgaiting in CA that was also a lie, someone is out to destroy my credibility. I find it very interesting that both these stories are being spread by Fox news and it’s affiliates.

I used to enjoy listening to him when he was a morning talk show host on KSTP in the Twin Cities. The best radio was when “Babbs Carlson” jointed him for the last few minuets of his show everyday.
Then he ran for Governor. Made lots of promises. Attempted to fulfill very few of them. Those he did, benefited Governor “Back-Peddle”. Promised “Conceal-Carry” legislation while campaigning, then after he was granted HIS conceal-carry permit upon inauguration, it was “screw you people, I got mine”
Please spare me any whining about the destruction of his “credibility”. That went out the window long ago.

They said she was a lovely girl who grew up accepting the fact that she existed as a political tool, that she would get in trouble for being friendly with the servants, that her friends were protective of her for good reason and that she had earned their loyalty. Granted, my information is old… but those guys really liked her. They thought her dad was an a-moral dupe who would **** anything in a skirt, and mom a… words not fit for public… but they liked Chelsea.
