Even those who aren’t fans of football have probably heard of Tim Tebow, the controversial faith keeper and starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos who is defying odds on the field.
Despite enduring a barrage of criticism over being an openly devout Christian, Tebow pulled off what is behing hailed another miracle this weekend against the Bears.
The Washington Post reported:
Tebow drove the Broncos downfield and Matt Prater, whose 59-yard field goal with 3 seconds left in regulation tied it, booted a 51-yarder with 8:34 left in overtime to give Denver an improbable 13-10 win.
“If you believe,” Tebow said, “then unbelievable things can sometimes be possible.”
And Tebow’s observations were precisely the topic Glenn, Pat and Stu were discussing during Monday’s radio broadcast. Is it Tebow’s faith that makes him such a good football player?
Watch Glenn and his crew talk about faith, sports and god in this entertaining clip below:

There’s the stats for you to see. Are they great? I would say no. Are they good? Yes, they are good. But to say that he is terrible makes no sense. He is a QB that had to take over a team that was failing pretty bad. The Def has stepped up no doubt, but his play has been pretty good for a QB with the amount of experience he has, esp. in the 4th quarter when the game really counts.

Posted on December 13, 2011 at 9:15amThe first thing he did was give all the CREDIT to his team mates… It’s NOT about him, he just leads well and gets his TEAM to believe they CAN do it… and they DO! It’s called FAITH and he has it! MAYBE, JUST MAYBE.. there IS a greater power at work? Think about it. WHAT are people TALKING ABOUT? :)

Posted on December 13, 2011 at 7:12amTim Tebow is not a great football player. Just look at his stats, they are terrible. He has just gotten lucky over the past few games, but has not played well by any means.

Posted on December 13, 2011 at 9:09amThis has to be some sort of joke; Tebow is a phenomenal quarterback! Winning the Heisman in 2007, and the first Sophomore to ever accomplish this task.
Also, who gets “lucky” 7 games straight?
