Is Rudy Running?

Former New York City Mayor and 2008 Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani is weighing his options for a 2012 bid, although telling Politico he is not rushing into a decision.
“My thinking is that I still have time to decide. So I’m going to take it…the race is developing very slowly, compared to, maybe not necessarily historical races, but compared to 2007, which is what I’m used to,” Giuliani said. “My focus when I sit down to decide will be, do I think any of the people running, or a few of them, have a good chance of beating President Obama or not?”
Among the indications, however, are the fact that Giuliani has appointed a spokeswoman to represent him in New Hampshire, and that he is coming off a two-day string of appearances in the first primary state.
Speaking to CNN’s Candy Crowley in Manchester, N.H., Giuliani painted himself as the answer to fixing the country’s problems.
“I probably have the best record in terms of having done something similar to what the country needs right now,” Giuliani said. “I look at the other candidates, they’ve done some really impressive things, but none of them had to take over a city, one of the largest economies in the country, one of the most complex, one that was in terrible trouble and turn it around, have definable results, but I can point to it.”
When pressed about the accomplishments of declared candidates Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty and John Huntsman, Giuliani seemed to wave the former governors aside.
“They have records and they have impressive records,” Giuliani said. “I don’t remember their states being in the kind of condition New York City was in….we turned that around.”

Posted on July 17, 2011 at 5:07pmNo Giuliani. No RINOs. He’s just another has-been like Newt Gingrich. Go away. Time for new blood in the GOP, and preferably the heart of a Tea Partier willing to preserve the nation in a constitutional manner.

Posted on July 17, 2011 at 4:36pmPlease Rudy, take my advice and stay out of the race, I think there is far too much “dirt” in you closet to become a candidate. The republican party must regain the control of our failing democratically controlled country, just step away and let things happen without you spoiling the race like old Ross Porot.

WAKE UP Ron Paul is our only hope
_______
There is no hope The Sheeple voters blindly scream Republican or Democrat but NEVER SEE THEIR elected officials FOLLOW THE SAME PATH.
1 Neither Bush nor Obama really DRILLED BABY DRILLED
2 Both spent TRILLIONS- Who cares WHO spent the most?
They all break the law
3 Obama REFUSED to abide by our legal systems COURT ORDER to lift the Louisiana drill ban
4 Obama & Bush & Congress IGNORE CONSTITUTIONAL RULE OF LAW which says CONGRESS ONLY SHALL DECLARE WAR. When presidents bypass Congress – it caves.
5 Nancy Pelosi’s perverted a financial rule to bypass the Senate & pass ObamaCare.
6 Bush & Obama & Congress IGNORE Constitutional Rule of Law by allowing the Patriot Act to spy on citizens WITHOUT A WARRANT.
7 Politicians allow police in the country to stop drivers speeding & DOWNLOAD every bit of information from their cell phones WITHOUT A WARRANT & THAT is 4th amendment violation against illegal search.
8 Police now walk up to people and TAKE A PICTURE OF THEIR EYES which is as distinct as finger prints with NO WARRANT
9 I read the Feds mandate a computer chip (like plane’s black box) in all cars & THAT chip information is used against you if you crash.
10 ALLOW TSA to treat EVERYONE like criminals & grope/strip search by machine EVERYONE without a warrant in violation of Constitution & if they did it outside an airport they would be arrested on moles

______
I too would like to see Ron Paul win. Gary Johnson has the same Constitutional values but not the same charisma.
Who would you like to see if Ron Paul doesn’t get the nomination?
I say Herman Cain or Michelle Bachman because I like their stand on the Constitution although I wish they would stay out of the abortion and the bedroom and I do NOT like Bachman’s BIG DEFENSE spending (she is way to reluctant to CUT DEEPLY INTO DEFENSE) and keeping open 900 military bases around the world including in Europe and Asia when the USA owes TRILLIONS to Europeans (England, Germany, etc) and Asians (Japan, Korea, etc) countries who are rich enough to maintain their own military installations.
That said – no candidate is perfect. And, I would vote for any Republican candidate right now – EXCEPT Romney or Huntsman. .

Posted on July 17, 2011 at 3:29pmAnyone is better than Obama or Romney
Rudy is better than Rick Perry.
Ron Paul and Gary Johnson are better than ALL the candidates on either the left or right
If not Ron Paul or Gary Johnson then Herman Cain and Michelle Bachman are the next best candidates on either the left or right. Our nation would do very well under any of these 4 candidates.
Romney and Huntman and Obama are the 3 WORST candidates – left or right. .
All the rest on the republican side are WEAK = Santorum, Pawlenty (WIMP), etc. including Palin (who sold out and endorsed RINO John McCain who is back to pushing illegal amnesty and raising taxes by COMPROMISING what little integrity he has with the democrats). Funny how Palin purchased an Arizona home (to establish residency) just as Arizona Republican Kyle is retiring. Me thinks Palin endorsed RINO McCain in 2010 AFTER he trashed her and her family in 2008 just so she would have his endorsement when she runs for that empty Arizona senate seat. Sarah Palin = Politics as usual.
Everyone on the democrat side is BAD BAD BAD = Weak on the Constitution and all are for bigger government and spending so I wouldn’t vote for any of them.

I hate to sound pesimistic but he was known for curruption in NY with thug tactics. I’m not a fan. If he runs it would dilute the Ronmey factor and that would be fine, but we all know he will not be elected.
