Is There an Anti-Fed Punk Rock Anthem for Ron Paul’s Campaign? Yes There Is…

Daily Caller:

Released on YouTube Wednesday, the song, written by musician Erik LaVergne and titled simply “Ron Paul Punk Rock Anthem,” is perhaps the first punk song in history to advocate Austrian School monetary theory.

“We know how to fix this mess,” LaVergne shouts. “Fire Ben and the printing press!”

And who best to fix this mess? “RON PAUL!” says the chorus. “RON PAUL!”

Obamacare not only requires one to buy Government approved insurance, it is also government approved healthcare. They will not approve an insurance company that does not provide the type of healthcare they approve. And if you want a religious exemption, you must be a member of a government approved church/religion. And of course, they will not approve of any religion that tells one to rely on God, that God is the Creator, Preserver and Maker…and when He has made you perfect of Mind and Soul, fit for the kingdom of heaven He will call you home. And I don’t want anyone keeping me here. Nor do I want to reincarnate. I want to go to “Galt’s Gulch” (heaven). Not return to Hell on earth. I have no desire to prolong my life on earth…not with things the way they R.

I trust Ron Paul because he will not compromise his values and principles and the standard those beliefs are based on is the “Gold standard”: The constitution. Therefore, a Foreign Policy of Peace,Commerce, and Honest Friendship With all Nations–Entangling Alliances with none.”

The constitution should be the arbiter in Congress. The rules they all agree to play by. The first thing they should vote on before voting to pass a law is, “Is it Constitutional?” If not, there is no point to discuss it any further unless they can bring it in alignment with the Constitution. Ron Paul will play by the rules, not change them arbitarily at the whim of the moment. We will all know what the rules are. and what

Most definitely. Since the Bilderberg/George Soros group controls the media and they are afraid of Ron Paul, they are trying to make the media have him sound unelectable. Wake up people, the reason that you will not hear that much about him is because the powers that be don’t want us to know about him. Be intelligent, do your research, figure out where you stand, don’t let the media do it for you. Gone are the days of responsible journalism. Ron Paul is intelligent and the most patriotic candidate on the block. He wants to get back to using the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION as a backbone for our government and media says he is unelectable. He thinks that the federal government should stay out of personal lives and he is called a nutjob. He wants to end the federal reserve because our founding fathers were against centralized banking and the media ignores him. We see where the current system is headed and yet, all we hear about is republicans vs democrats. Are any of the other candidates suggesting any real solutions for our country or are they presenting us with more rhetoric and “business as usual” politics. Please take a serious look at Ron Paul. You will never agree with a candidate 100%, but God knows we can not continue doing the same things and expect any real change. Ron Paul has my vote.

Happy Birthday to Dr. Paul. However, I’m with Congressman Alan West, LtCol, USA (ret.) when he says Ron Paul is NOT the man for the job of president because he is an isolationist who actually thinks it’s no big deal for Iran to have a nuclear weapon (that’s Dr. Paul said at the Iowa debate). He’s also joined Barney Frank, the poster boy for the Socialist Culture of Death, in sponsoring a bill to remove marijuana from the federal list of controlled substances, essentially legalizing it. His national security program would take us back to the 1930′s and his domestic economy program would take us back even further. He is a nice guy, but he’s not the man for the job in the dangerous world we live in today.

While I agree with everything STOPSPENDINGOURMONEY stated – the problem is that Beck doesn’t like Ron Paul and either does Pat Gray. Pat is the most outspoken against Ron Paul – Beck sorta defers to Pat’s judgement on Ron Paul and goes along with what Pat says. So therefore Beck‘s audience won’t like Ron Paul because of that.
Ron doesn‘t think we should involve ourselves in foreign wars and stick our nose in Israel’s business. But Glenn thinks we should stick our nose in Israel’s business because Glenn has a twisted interpretation of Bible theology.
Hopefully Beck’s audience is smarter than Beck and will vote for Ron Paul.

Ron Paul IS the RESET BUTTON America NEEDS.

Will everyone agree with everything he says? No, but then, is there ever a candidate with whom one agrees with 100%? Once elected, a president has to consider more in their policies (and finds it is more complicated) than just campaign rhetoric and compromise is necessary.

The media is ignoring him for a reason. If Ron Paul wins, America gets reset back towards the constitution and individual liberty and AWAY from elitist globalism.

The Bildebergs have candidates on BOTH sides so they can win either way and continue their global domination. A vote for Rick Perry is the SAME as a vote for Obama. Watch and see hwo Perry’s name will be slathered all over everywhere is glowing terms while all the others are demonized or ignored.

    Watch ENDGAME (free) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-CrNlilZho

Ron Paul will LISTEN to the American people and (more importantly) go BACK to the constitution.

Rational Man: He simply says many of those thing which you so strongly dissaprove of should be decided at the state level. I oppose much of it as well but I believe they should be decided locally not in DC.
But for instance to approve of the consumption of Alcohol and criminalize weed is inconsistent to say the least.. And no I don‘t smoke it and don’t use drugs other than NO Explode for my workouts.. lol but the point is many of these issues should be determined locally.

Surely you understand that as a rational man??

I surely understand that one of the duties of the federal government is national defense. And even if drugs and prostitution are governed by states, only, there still has to be federal laws in place and enforced to keep drugs from entering the country, crossing state lines, regulation and more. You can bet that Paul will want his share of the revenues in the form of taxes. Doesn’t sound like smaller government to me. Sounds about the same! The social chaos would be devastating to the country. And morally it’s just wrong.
That is my opinion and as far as I can tell, it’s the opinion of the majority. The ramifications of some of Pauls ideas are not well thought out. I won’t vote for him and neither will the majority. And I’m sick of arguing about things that are obvious.
Your posts are about the most civil ones I see on this subject, but your fellow Paul supporters are not helping your cause. And neither is this “grassroots” punk rock band. Paul supporters are looking more “fringe” every day. YES, Paul has some great ideas that I totally agree with. But his bad ideas keep me and the majority from voting for him….It’s too bad too.

Ron Paul is the one who will uphold our Constitution. I do not understand why Glenn does not support him. Dr. Paul believes we should be a friend to Israel, but not tell them when they are allowed to defend themselves (which they are very capable of doing). Do not fall for the MSM telling us who is electable & who is not. That’s for We The People to decide! I was very disappointed when Chris Wallace asked Krauthammer why Ron Paul is not getting the media attention (the question was due to an influx of emails he received). Krauthammer replied it was because “Ron Paul is not going to be President”. That was his reason why. Very bad answer, in my opinion.

Ron Paul is our best chance at restoring democracy.

A Coup d’etat began during the 2008 presidential election.

Obama is not the president, he’s the acting president. He disappeared for 2 weeks after his election win only to reappear looking exhausted sitting next to John McCain, with a bad poker face, for a press photo shoot. Obama is now a Pentagon puppet.

Here’s what Osama, Obama, Biden, Bin Laden, the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists, and Sarah Palin had to do with the last presidential election and the military’s overthrow of our government.

I see that The Blaze (which I have read and respected since the first day) is continuing it’s collectivism ideas to put a bad light on Ron Paul. Picking out a group of his followers to judge the individual himself. Come on Glenn, you have preached against collectivism for the past 2.5 years (maybe even longer) but you are resorting to those tactics.

It is because of you Glenn that I opened up to Ron Paul. I have listened to your radio show since before 9/11, but had gained an enormous amount of respect the past 2 years. Everything that you have taught about this country, and the greatness of it has led me to believe that Ron Paul stands for everything this country is supposed to be. No I don’t like his foreign policy on Iran, and his answer in the debate made me cringe as I was watching it, but really America needs to get back as close to the constitution as possible, and i don’t see a better person for the job.

I think the Ron Paul supporters have grown to the size it has, because of Glenn Beck himself. All this saying “Ron Paul supporters are a bunch of druggies punks” doesn’t work any more. Maybe in the past this would hold water, but it has been Glenn’s teachings about what this country is supposed to be that have dramatically boosted the support for Ron Paul. Now I feel like Glenn is taking back what he has said. I stand with you Glenn on the spiritual stuff, but i think you are wrong and being a hypocrite when it comes to Ron Paul.

He has very little concern for the future of America. Also, the only man to stand 100% behind his words. he’s trying to give the power back to the people and the media is laughing at him. THAT is how pathetic media outlets are today. even The Blaze, Beck should be ashamed of himself. Beck also thinks that “States Rights” means the state owns everything of yours… what a stupid misunderstanding of the constitution. States Rights, mean that states > fed. That we leave the laws and regulations up to the individual states, not the the collective fed. end of story. The fed is there to protect the states, our rights, liberties and pursuit of happiness.

      Conservative Voice,

While Beck isn’t quite as bad as most of the media is in ignoring and falsely dismissing Ron Paul, he’s close. It makes no sense because if Glenn is truthful, then Ron Paul is the best candidate for him because their only issue of difference is that Ron Paul is for non-intervention (which is not the same as isolationism – for all of you demagogues out there) in foreign policy. It seems as if Glenn has gone “all in” on the “Israel First” movement. Michael Scheuer wrote an article about this movement a few years back (before Beck made it his #1 obsession).

      http://original.antiwar.com/scheuer/2008/07/16/turning-the-tables-on-the-israel-firsters/

If you are not familiar with Scheuer, he is the former CIA head of the Osama bin Laden Unit and is among the most informed people on the planet regarding the Middle East and guess what? He is a big Ron Paul supporter and a non-interventionist. I’m pretty sure he knows more than the Blaze posters who constantly harp that Ron Paul is wrong or even “naive” (arrogant much?) on the subject.

      Jefferson,

I have seen that video and I then showed it to several others. It’s very thought provoking. We like to think of ourselves as free but the harder you look the less freedom you see. Everyone should watch the video and consider our situation and how controlled we really are. Thanks for the link.

    Isolationism = North Korea.

Yes, but due to the newspeak-ish simplification of american english through television, people don’t know or care to know the difference. This is the problem. We’ve been grown, cultured, and educated into complacency. Paul or Palin, in my opinion are the only two people in this country who can inspire us to remember where we came from and who we are.

its all newspeak, if someone is trying to divide you, disregard it.

when you see people posting messages calling people that talk about our constitution as misguided backwards dumb ect, its all a governmet ruse, which takes place daily in public schools (thats why they make it hard to homeshool that is assuming both parents dont work)

so all of you frauds out there beware, perhaps anon should track down all the isp’s of governmrnt trolls and put there phone numbrs and adresses out there for everyone to see, that would greatly adjust the troll to human ratio on the internet, sure 13 year olds will still be at it, but at least thier obvious, they stop trolling when sponge bob is on.

Paul isn’t the only one that thinks that way. Others that think that way just don’t want to legalize drugs and prostitution and turn a blind eye to Iran.
There are two extremes, Ron Paul on one end and, say, Jon Huntsman on the other end.
I never thought I would ever elude to being, ‘moderate’, but with extremes like this, the best president would be found in between these two extremes. Mostly right of Huntsman and just a little left of Paul. I’m not endorsing anyone yet. I‘m not sure I see the balance I’m looking for in any of the present nominees. We have no credible way of preventing Iran from getting the bomb. Their sites are deep underground, so we would likely have to use nukes. Imagine how a first strike by Israel or us will play in the world and domestic press. Obama lacks the political will and I can’t see Bachman/Perry/Romney doing it either.

What needs to be clear to them is that their world will end if they use these things. Iranian culture will end, at least as expressed in their major cities, and no Mahdi will save them. I think Paul can deliver that particular promise as well as anyone.

I think once Paul got into the White House and started to learn the intricacies of the job, his positions would “modify” a bit; as an analogy, look at Obama’s campaign promises to close Gitmo. Obama quickly understood that there was just no feasible way to do it, and likewise, Paul would quickly figure out that a nuke-free Iran greatly simplifies foreign policy (and in spite of Paul’s isolationist views, he would still need to deal with foreign policy…it ain’t going away, Dr. Paul!)
Don’t get me wrong: I still think Paul is a borderline psychopath, but his psychosis is far more appealing than the alternative offered by true nutjobs like Perry and Bachmann.

An extra bit of info, Ron Paul voted against condemning Israel when it took out Iraq’s nuclear facilities. He basically believes each country should have the soverignty to manage their own affairs. Without the US constantly interfering, perhaps the two will come to some accord. After all Israel has 300 ish nukes, and Iran has been radicalized for over 30 years, and they haven’t see fit to use a Nuke or invade Iran themselves. I hope it helps

@Rational Man I always doubt when a person puts ‘rational’ in their name. Especially after one of Reason Magazine’s reports basically stabbed Ron Paul in the back. (For those not familiar Reason is a libertarian-ish organization funded partly by Koch Industries, and the Koch brothers have had a bit of a feud with the Mises Institute, which Ron Paul is part of. The more philosophical and serious libertarians consider Reason to be beltwaytarians, and more obsessed with cultural issues, than achieving liberty)

I apologize for the digression, but I don’t like fear mongering. If radical jihadi’s were as bad as you say, Pakistan would have already nuked Israel. But of course, Muslims are not a hive mind, they have many separate factions. In any event this is how wars always start. Demonize the enemy, make your native population feel that it is unpatriotic to be against the wars, economically isolate the targetted nation via sanctions so no other country will intervene or block your attack and then invade. In any event, I am not impressed by armchair generals who preach war, either to make up for a lack of manliness, or to paraphrase GK Chesterson “You love America, not because she is America, but because she is Mighty.” After all, you abandon the advice of the Founders, and instead take the foreign policy of Woodrow Wilson and FDR.

Ron Paul was drafted due to the Cuban Missile Crisis. Listen to Smedly Butler, USMC Maj. Gen.

Doctors live quite well and trust me they are not suffering. They deserve to be well paid , and it is very costly for Doctors to go through the educational process. The problem is not with doctors, it is with the redtape they encounter with Big Insurance, Big Government and Big Pharma. Under our current system they are slaves to these big corporations. Healthcare is a fundamental right for all people and the has nothing to do with Doctors making money. Are you just plain dumb to these facts? I am sure you don’t pay for your own healthcare . When you pay 1200.00 a month for poor care then you can complain. Stop listening to FOX and start looking out side of you little bubble. WE need affordable healthcare. Zorro. We need big government out of the way. So that we can conduct true untethered capitalism and free enterprise. That is when we will be able to work a 40-50 hour week actually doing something productive or for the betterment of society, and will be able to make a LIVABLE WAGE !!! If the government hadn’t purposely botched the economy with their criminal activities, we would be able to afford health insurance and maybe pay our medicals bills at the time the services are rendered. Third-party individuals or entities usually cost more for the two people involved at hand. Throw in a fourth-Party ? So you would like the Insurance Company AND the government to interfere in something that should only involve you and your doctor ?You really need to re-evaluate your mind set. It is backwards. I don’t blame you. I was there at one time. You, like I, were indoctrinated by our education and TV, leading us to believe this was the best, and only way things are managed. You are right about one thing – nothing is free – and it should not be. Obama’s health care plan contains too many things that have nothing to do with health care. And the same people that pay nothing into federal taxes (47% of American’s) will also pay $0 for health care under his design. Free capitalist market insurance would easily solve the problem. The over prized/corrupt companies would go out of business in a hurry (if the government got out of the way). A = A

They were kissing the hands of the doctors from the US for working on their children. You think that this universal healthcare thing is just the ticket? Try talking to someone from Canada. They come here for services when it’s critical. Have you ever taken the time to read key points of the healthcare bill.? Healthcare is just a sideline of it. It is a bill to control you, your bank account, and your assets. They will remove money from your bank account at will. They will force you to take care of illegal aliens. They are already forcing American students to pay for themselves plus an illegal. You will be told what procedures you may have if any. The government will determine the value of you life. Sounds like a sweet deal to me. Just put everything in the hands of BIG BROTHER. Everything is gonna be alright. yeah…

      @Zorro6821,

“Healthcare is a fundamental right for all people and the has nothing to do with Doctors making money. Are you just plain dumb to these facts? I am sure you don’t pay for your own healthcare . When you pay 1200.00 a month for poor care then you can complain.”

Health care cannot be a fundamental right, because you don’t have the right to compel someone to provide a service to you.

As for the price of health care being so high – that is not the fault of Capitalism, but of a mix of Corporatism and Collectivism.

Government intervention, in one form or another, is responsible for most of the economic crisis we’re in.

      See here.

To the contrary, it is intervention into the free market, in the form of distortions of the structure of interest rates — which are crucial coordinating mechanisms — that causes the problem.”

Now us the taxpayer will have to pick up your tab as it is obvious you can barely afford a six pack of beer. Your argument is about as articulate as a meth addict trying to explain the theory of relativity. The average cost for a stay in the hospital is approximately 3,000 per day and that is just for a bed. Your such a genius. Trany mike…does that mean your Mike and Transexual?

Ron Paul is the only one who has consistently honored his oath to the Constitution and served the best interests of the American people…

Ron Paul is a definite threat to the status quo… Thus, Fox News pundits doing their best to ignore Ron’s success at the Iowa Straw Poll and to push “their” choice of “top-tier” candidates…

We must stop listening to the drivel coming from the Left and the Right “lame-stream” media pushing their own agendas and start thinking outside the box for our agenda… What’s best for America!

      Go, Ron Paul, Go!

FOX News… Fair and Balanced? More like Unfair and Biased.

      @clingingtogodandguns,

“If his foreign policy wasn’t so kooky i would back him.”

His foreign policy is completely Constitutional. With what, about it, do you take issue?

We do not have the right to tell another country what to do, and unless Iran attacks US, we do not have a right to go to war with them.

And he is right that countries which trade with each other (while respecting the sovereignty of each) are less likely to fight.

Dr. Paul’s foreign policy is not at all “Kooky”. What is wrong with ending the endless wars and being the policeman of the world. We are borrowing money from China to fight these useless wars. As for Iran, need not worry…Israel will take care of them.DR. RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!!

Ron Paul is the only candidate that can and will actually turn this country around. The rest, including Perry, are establishment (globalist puppet) politicians that couldn’t care less about liberty and freedom or the Constitution in general. The Republican Party and Democrat Party are really no different from one another. Things never really change with either party. They exist to prop each other up when needed. Think about it, they both consistently increase the size of our government and destroy our liberties. Bush – Patriot Act war after war Obama – continuation of the Patriot Act and expansion of it instead of reversing and ending the war in Afghanistan and bringing our troops home. Obama said he would in his campaign promises and instead we get more warrant less wiretapping, secret arrests, torture, indefinite dentition of American citizens and even more wars than Bush.

“But the Austrian School of thought is interesting. Hitler was Austrian… and the one thing I admire about Hitler is he was very patriotic and nationalist.”

Austrian Economics is not a “patriotic” or “nationalist” economic school of thought. Any country would do well to understand the Austrian Business Cycle Theory.

      Talmid,

If your avatar is not an icon of sarcasm for you, you might want to take a look at the Austrian economists/historians. They are the only ones who call that war exactly what it was – and credit the causes exactly as they were. Most notably, Thomas Woods and Thomas DiLorenzo.

Of all the candidates out there, Ron also correctly interprets the historical truths of Lincoln’s war and the obvious result in our own day and time. Unaccountable central government and a fiat economy constructed by the government for its own purposes.

If Ron Paul does not win, or his candidacy does not have a huge bearing on the other candidate’s positions – our nation is screwed.

      @ Doctor,

Yeah, I know, it was tongue-in-cheek.

Ron Paul has become my favorite candidate. He’s the most adherent to the Constitution, so if he is the nominee, he has my vote.

@ Whiz… Thanks. When I make Hitler comments, it also drives the liberals crazy. I am no fan of Hitler, but I love some of his quotes. I’m Jewish, and religious. I’m no fan of Hitler, or any tyrant. But I do admire Hitlers nationalist side.

      Such as:

“All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.” – Adolf Hitler…. e.g. The American left fits this category.

This is how Obama got voted in (and his strong hatred for America):

“How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don’t think.” – Adolf Hitler

“By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise.” – Adolf Hitler

      Our Marxist school system now:

“He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.” – Adolf Hitler

And Hitler had other great quotes, many, very truthful quotes.
