Islam Controversies Cast Shadow Over 9/11 events

NEW YORK (AP) – They will read the names, of course, the names of every victim who died in the Sept. 11 attacks. The bells will ring. And then that moment of unity will give way to division as activists hoist signs and march, some for and some against a planned mosque two blocks from ground zero.
This 9/11 is more political and contentious than the eight before it, with grieving family members on opposite sides of the mosque battle.
The debate became so heated that President Barack Obama felt the need to remind Americans: “We are not at war against Islam.”
It was uncertain Friday whether hushed tones would replace the harsh rhetoric that threatened to overshadow the commemoration of the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington and Shanksville, Pa.
The son of an anti-Muslim pastor in Florida confirmed that his father would not – at least for now – burn copies of the Quran, a plan that inflamed much of the Muslim world and drew a stern rebuke from Obama. But Terry Jones got on a plane headed to New York, according to an acquaintance, K.A. Paul; the flight that Paul said Jones would be on landed Friday night, but there was no immediate sign of the pastor inside the airport. Jones has said he wants to meet with the imam behind the proposed mosque.
Activists in New York insisted their intentions were peaceful.
“It’s a rally of remembrance for tens of thousands who lost loved ones that day,” said Pamela Geller, a conservative blogger and host of the anti-mosque demonstration. “It’s not a political event, it’s a human rights event.”
The site of the proposed mosque and Islamic center is already used for services, but it was padlocked Friday, closed until Sunday. Police guarded the block, and worshippers were redirected to a different prayer room 10 blocks away.
More than 2,000 supporters of the project, waving candles and American flags, held a vigil near the proposed Islamic center’s site Friday evening instead of Saturday, saying they wanted to avoid entangling the mosque controversy and the Sept. 11 observance.
Organizers “believe that tomorrow is a day for mourning and remembrance,” said Jennifer Carnig, a spokeswoman for the New York Civil Liberties Union, one of the vigil’s sponsors.
Stephanie Parker, daughter of 9/11 victim Philip L. Parker of Skillman, N.J., said she came to the vigil because she’s troubled by what she sees as people wrongly equating all of Islam with the extremists who attacked the trade center, and by the way the furor surrounding the mosque has become entangled with the attacks’ anniversary. She has previously chosen to spend those anniversaries with her family.
“I think the anniversary is being overshadowed,” Parker, 21, a senior public relations major at Drexel University in Philadelphia, said in an interview as she relighted a candle that kept blowing out in a breeze.
U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota called for devoting Sept. 11 to honoring victims and the first responders who worked to save them – not the Islamic center controversy.
“It is not proper or right to distract from honoring those heroes and remembering those victims. Not doing anything else than that tomorrow,” Ellison, who is Muslim, told the crowd. “And yet we know the possibility of that is real.”
For Jones, pastor of a 50-member Pentecostal church in Florida, it was to be a day to burn the Quran. He backed off that threat after drawing angry protests across the Muslim world, a call from the secretary of defense and impassioned pleas to call it off from religious and political leaders and his own daughter.
“There will be no Quran burning tomorrow,” Jones’ 29-year old son, Luke Jones, told reporters outside his father’s Gainesville church Friday. He added that he could not predict what might happen in the future.
Terry Jones had previously said he would cancel his plan if the leader of the planned New York Islamic center, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, would agree to move the project to another location.
Jones claimed Thursday that an imam in Florida had told him the mosque would be moved. That imam later said Jones was mistaken, that he had only arranged a meeting with Rauf in New York on Saturday.
Rauf, however, said that wasn’t true, either, that he had no plans to meet with Jones, although he added in a statement Friday that he is open to seeing anyone “seriously committed to pursuing peace.”
The carefully worded text seemed to leave open the possibility of a meeting, but only if Jones proved himself to be a serious peacemaker. With that caveat, it would seem unlikely that the imam would meet with a man whose threat to desecrate the Muslim holy book stirred anger and protest and even some bloodshed in the Islamic world.
In Afghanistan, 11 people were injured Friday in scattered protests of Jones’ plan. Only a few thousand people attended those rallies and no large-scale demonstrations were reported elsewhere. In Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim country, cleric Rusli Hasbi told 1,000 worshippers at Friday prayers that whether or not Jones burns the Quran, he has already “hurt the heart of the Muslim world.”
As on other 9/11 anniversaries, official ceremonies were planned at the three locations where the terrorists struck. Obama will be at the Pentagon, Vice President Joe Biden will go to New York, and first lady Michelle Obama and former first lady Laura Bush will travel to Shanksville.
Obama told a White House news conference that Sept. 11 would be “an excellent time” for the country to reflect on the fact that there are millions of Muslims who are American citizens, that they also are fighting in U.S. uniforms in Afghanistan, and “we don‘t differentiate between ’them‘ and ’us.‘ It’s just ‘us.’”
Biden will attend the largest commemoration, at a park near ground zero, where 2,752 people were killed when Muslim extremists flew planes into the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Houses of worship in the city will toll bells at 8:46 a.m., when the first plane struck the north tower, and three more times to mark the moment the second plane hit the south tower and to observe the times each tower fell.
Activists are organizing a pair of rallies – one against the planned Islamic center, one supporting it – to follow the official ceremony.
Sally Regenhard, who lost her firefighter son, Christian Regenhard, planned to attend the morning ceremony and the anti-mosque protest.
“The purpose is to speak out and express our feelings that this mosque, the location of it, is a grievous offense to the sensitivity of 9/11 families,” Regenhard said. “There’s nothing political about people who want to speak out against something they think is so wrong, so hurtful and so devastating.”
But Donna Marsh O’Connor, whose pregnant daughter, Vanessa, was killed in the attacks, supports the mosque. She said she strongly opposes the anti-mosque rally and the political motivations behind it.
“It’s more of the same hate-mongering and fear-mongering that’s been going on for years,” O’Connor said. “People have a right to free speech. But if they’re talking about sensitivities to 9/11 families, why are they rallying and doing events on a day we should spend thinking about those we lost?”
John Bolton, who was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under President George W. Bush, was expected to send a videotaped message of support to the anti-mosque rally, as was conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart. Anti-Islam Dutch politician Geert Wilders, who advocates banning the Quran and taxing Muslim women who wear head scarves, plans to address the crowd in person, as do a handful of Republican congressional candidates who have made opposition to the mosque a centerpiece of their campaigns.
Also Saturday, former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was expected to observe the anniversary in Alaska with Fox News TV host Glenn Beck.
New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan spoke out Friday against Saturday’s planned New York protests, saying Sept. 11 “has become a holy day in our community and our nation.”
“We must never allow Sept. 11th to become a time for protest and division,” he added. “Instead, this day must remain a time for promoting peace and mutual respect.”

All Muslims are not terrorists. All Muslims do not hate us. Look at what they endured from Saddam Hussein. Their so called corrupt dictator who persecuted them, took their freedoms, their very rights and dignity. Starved them and beat them and put them in prisons for speaking out against corruption.
If our goal was to protect them, we failed to some degree. We protected our interests, OIL. They were left to starve while they watched the American helicopters fly over with supplies and food for security and military forces. We “install” a government there but to be sure, it is one that is corrupt and must agree with our intersts. OIL. Again. I hope I never see another barrel of oil. I would rather walk the rest of my life than to be held hostage and see what is done to these people all in the interest of OIL. They do not receive a dollar from one of the richest countries in the world, their own. That is “their oil” yet they starve and children are beaten and forced to work. Not allowed any education.

This entire situation is becoming hopeless. If we are ever to release these people from their own terrorists, we must drill for oil here, every where we can, when we can. The Muslims are terrorized every day by their own radical terrorists and some radical Islamists, just like we are and were with Saddam Hussein. Their government and those who help elect and those who support them are corrupt. The rich and powerful just keep getting richer and more corrupt and the people have no say..they just wake up hungry and go to bed hungry with corrupt government controlling every aspect of their lives.

No wonder there is conflict and hate. While there will always be those who are radical, they do not speak for everyone and you must not allow yourself to believe otherwise. Remember, we have radical militia groups right here and they do not speak for all of us. We have many, many religions here who all have their own views and interpretations of the Bible and we don’t hate or persecute them, do we?
You simply cannot allow the word Muslim to cause such an immediate and hateful reaction that you would be blind. Americans are not all the same. Muslims are not all the same. We ought to know better than that at least.

Ive had FOX on all day, watching the 9-11 tributes. I have cheered the heros, cried for the murdered and their families, been sick to my stomach at the horror of it all, lit torches in rememberance and gotten down on my knees to pray.
The worst part of the day, is always the realization that it will happen again, because we are the tools of our own destruction.

    Two questions:
1-If those of us who oppose the insensitivity of building a mosque near ground zero are anti-Muslim, what are the Muslims who also oppose the building near ground zero?
    and
2-Did I hear ‘that one’ use this day and use his speech on this day to try to promote the building of the mosque by pointing out while speaking at the Pentagon that there is a church nearby where people of all faiths can pray?

Hey dingleberry, I challenged you once b4, and I’ll try again. Here are some muslim facts I’d like you to challenge. My contact info appears at the end, so ball in your court.

    CAN MUSLIMS BE GOOD AMERICANS?

This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish
And send it on to everyone. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are
So quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities. Can a good Muslim be
    A good American?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
    The following is his reply:

Theologically – no. . . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon
    God of Arabia .

Religiously – no.. . . Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah
    Except Islam (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)

Scripturally – no. . . Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of
    Islam and the Quran.

Geographically – no . Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he
    Turns in
    prayer five times a day.

Socially – no. . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make
Friends with Christians or Jews .

Politically – no.. . . Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual
Leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America ,
    The great Satan.

Domestically – no. .. . Because he is instructed to marry four Women and
Beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34 )

Intellectually – no. . Because he cannot accept the American
Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the
    Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically – no. . . . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran does
Not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot
Co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or
    autocratic.

Spiritually – no.. . . Because when we declare ‘one nation under God,’
The Christian’s God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to
As Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran’s 99
    Excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation…. Perhaps we should be
Very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. – - – They obviously
Cannot be both ‘good’ Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish
it’s still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand
This, the better it will be for our country and our future.

The religious war is bigger than we know or understand. ….

Footnote: The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within.

    SO FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.

When I was in High school over 40 years ago, I undertook to write a research paper on Islam, which seemed exotic, far away and which I knew zero about except they worship Allah and the prophet is Mohamed. Mind you, I had really no opinion at all either way when I began. But what I discovered left me with a very queesy feeling at the pit of my stomach because I realized then that fanaticism is built into this religion from the ground up like it is in no other religion. It seemed by its extremely rigid nature to rule out the very possibility of a “moderate” member. It has a lot of very harsh rules and regs but no discernable spiritual component. Lots of hellfire and damnation. Then the whole bit about taking over the world and killing all the infidels. But the thing that struck me most was the fanatical loyality it seemed to demand. I was left wondering how a Muslim could ever be a loyal citizen of a country like the United States, because if they ever had to choose it would have to be Islam. But that was 40 years ago and, tho” it shook me up, I was able to more or less put it out of my mind until the current era of Islamic Terror began in earnest in the eighties. I still would like to believe there is this big silent majority of “peaceful , moderate” Muslims who are going to wake up someday and take back their religion. Instead, I see what we all see, but none of our leaders will admit. This administration won’t even allow the words Islamic and terror to be used in the same phrase anymore. How can we protect ourselves against something if we can’t even name it? Huge irony: their leaders are masters of using our political correctness to further their agenda; it is their greatest weapon against us, but there seems to be no “peaceful Islam” political correctness operating within the muslim world that “moderate” Muslims, whom all of our leaders insist are he vast majority can bring to bear on the radicals to curb their activities.

Love is given. But respect is earned. And muslims do not get anything but disrespect from me. islam is an evil religion of hatred that promotes pedophilia, murder, rape, torture and lying to us ‘infedels . I remember 9/11 and I remember what you people did. I don’t care what any of you say-I won’t be p.c. and I don’t care if you agree with me. We have turned the other cheek enough. They want to be ‘understood’? Message received loud and clear! over 50,000 people murdered by islamic radicals since 9/11. And that’s just whats documented. they want tolerance? lets see how ‘tolerant’ they are when I fly a plane into their mud huts and see what they have to say then! I will not forget what they did and I don’t need to forgive someone who continues to commit the same crime over and over. Tolerance was yesterday and I don’t care what BHO has to say about it. I have nothing but contempt and disgust for the islmic religion AND I WON’T EVER BE AFRAID TO SAY IT!!! I will spend the rest of the day reflecting and remembering those who were murdered and their families. I will later have BBQ pork slow roasted over quran and wood chips.

This pertains to an article by Aaron Klein, WND that references a plea for BO to ………….

Pakistani plea: Make Obama supreme leader of Muslims
    By Aaron Klein, WND

A Pakistani newspaper is quoting one of the country’s ministers as stating he wants President Obama to offer Muslim prayers at Ground Zero and become the “Caliph,” or ruler, of the Islamic nation.

“The coming Eid would expectedly be observed on 9/11; this a golden opportunity for President Obama to offer Eid prayers at Ground Zero and become Amir-ul-Momineen or Caliph of Muslims. In this way, all the problems of Muslim World would be solved,” stated Minister of State for Industries and Productions Ayatullah Durrani, according to Pakistan’s The Nation newspaper.

The newspaper reported Durrani called its offices and argued the Muslim world was in “dire need” of a supreme leader and that the position would earn Obama the exemplary titles of what Durrani termed “Mullah Barrack Hussain (sic) Obama,“ or ”Allama Obama.”

“The time is approaching fast. Barrack Hussain Obama must act now. This is a golden opportunity, Muslims badly need it,” added Durrani, according to the newspaper.

Duranni reportedly stated that Obama becoming supreme Islamic leader would be the “key to success.”

Eid, short for Eid Ul-Fitr, is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

Ameer-ul-Momineen means the Islamic leader of the faithful, while Caliph refers to the head of the Caliphate, or Muslim nation ruled by Islamic law.

They, the courts, the government, will never ban sharia because it falls under the freedom of religion clause of the constitution even though it is not a religion. It opposes almost every moral in the Bible and of the Christian and American lifestyle.

If you are against pediphilia you cannot allow the sharia law
If you are against child abuse you cannot allow the sharia law
If you are against wife beating you cannot allow the sharia law
If you are against polygamy (multiple partner marriages) you cannot allow the sharia law
If you are against corporal punishment you cannot allow the sharia law
If you are against murdering your wife or children you cannot allow the sharia law

We have prisons full of people that have committed these attrocities. Why on God’s green earth would you even concider that sharia law could exist in our society. This is an afront to everything we have fought for over 250 years. Learn what you do not know, that is how you clear up the confusion.

‎”We value our Muslim neighbors across the world & hope that those who live by the tenets of their faith will not suffer. I ask particularly that our own people do not become a party in any way to the persecution of the innocent. Rather, let us be friendly & helpful, protective & supportive. It is the terrorist organizations that must be ferreted out & brought down.” Gordon B Hinckley

It would be very nice if all sides of this conflict – all world leaders – all people felt the same – “Honor, respect, and treat other like you yourself would like to be treated,” but I‘m beginning to believe that we’re forgotten to actually respect and honor ourself.

That’s a thought that came to my mind as they “Retore Honor” GB rally was going on, as CNN and the media kept asking sarcastically, “What do they think needs restoring?” Perhaps this all comes back to viewing yourself, be kind and love yourself, thus you’ll love others, thus others will return the love. That is the “perfect” world that we just don’t have —– yet——- which makes the Faith, Hope, Charity rally topic so important to bring into your own life.

“We are not at war against Islam.”-Obama

No we are not at war with Islam. We are still engaged in the War on Terror, no matter how much you want to ignore it, and that is a War on Islamic Extremist Terrorism. It is too close to avoid tension coming up over people salting wounds from earlier this decade. These wounds don’t heal that fast. The declared proposed attack on the Koran and this proposed mosque provide salt on the still raw but hopefully healing sentiments on all sides from the losses of 9-11.

I think some things are going too far claiming the day as Holy. It is a continuing funeral for those who never will have the chance to finish their lives and have enough of their remains found for a proper observance of whichever internment they personally would have had. The people who were just trying to live their every day lives on those planes and in those buildings. And especially the first responders who responded into their final time trying to save those thousands of lives.

they wont kill you if you become peaceful, you know, Submit to thier ideals…

I feel bad for the pastor in FL because you know they have issued FATWA’s for him and his family and their assassins will try to collect on them. When they do they will claim “he asked for it”.

Gotta love a peace loving religious group like that… HUH?

If there are moderate muslims out there, now is a good time for you to speak up and rebuke these actions. or you will feel the rath of the American people along with all the rest of your brothren.
Make no mistake about it. We have been letting our bleeding hearts do the talking so far, but those of us (the patriots) that have protected freedom before are watching and waiting for the ballon to go up. You see we have been fighting these people for a long time in Iraq and Afghanistan we know how you fight and our soldiers are coming home by the groves. We know how to handle the radicals and their networks. We will not stand on the sidelines for long.

It is in your (the radicals) best interest to work these issues out with our citizens and our public representitives before we get the call to handle you. It may not be the president that makes the call, he seems to be on the wrong side of this issue, but you can believe he is not the only one that can push the button. We have wiped out whole countries of your kind, we can definitely wipe you out on American soil.

If you are a “so called” moderate and do not speak out against the radicals, you will be concidered one of the radicals. We know you have directives from your holy book that makes it “O.K.“ and even your duty to lie to ”infidels”. While I believe in the Bible-And I believe in ‘turning the other cheek’. We‘ve already done that and these people don’t care. There is no point in forgiving someone if they are going to continue commiting the same crime-over and over. It gets stupid. At some point we need to realize that we have a responsibility to stand for those who can’t stand up for themselves. To take a stand against an evil religion that has allowed murder, rape torture and pedophilia. Take a stand for the victims of 9/11 and their families and the more than 50,000 people who have been murdered by muslim extremists since 9/11. Stand for the very young girls who are married off-sometimes before age 5. Stand for women who so oppressed they have the same ‘rights’ as cattle. Muslims you are being warned. we are not afraid of you. You are a disgusting and repulsive people and I will not tolerate you. Your ‘god’ alah is a false god and if you continue to follow him-know that you will follow him to hell. Today should be a day of rage and remembrance, not service and remembrance. I live in Rhode Island. On September 11, you would think that there would be a big front page feature story remembering 9/11. What did we get instead? Three pictures grouped vertically with the tag “Emotional Moments”. There are two pictures above the fold. The first is entitled “A time to come together” and it is a picture showing ‘thousands’ celebrating the end of Ramadan in a local park. The second picture is entitled “A call for unity” and shows a local revered decrying the burning of the Koran and calling for religious tolerance. The LAST picture, BELOW the fold is entitled “A day to remember” and shows photos of Fire and Police personnel that died on 9/11 and states that “ceremonies will honor those who died on Sept 11.” Unbelievable! I stopped my subscription to this rag a long time ago and only buy it occasionally on the weekend. This will be the LAST day I buy it.

Isn’t it odd how Freedom Of Religion and Free Speech only work for muslims not Christians?
Where are all the hypocritical liberals with their mantra “ I may not agree with what you say or do but I will defend your right to do it”. It has become so easy to expose these frauds with the current administration. If the muslims gain Sharia Law I will remind these liberals as they hide behind burqas, run to prayers 5 times /day and extort their homosexual friends for money or face exposure[whoops, pun not intended].
The solution to both the mosque on ground zero and burning the koran is both are constitutional but both are insensitive and should not be done. What do the mobs of muslims do when they are not protesting, oh yes. beheading one another in the name of peace.

The NYC Imam has opened the door on Islam– now let’s have a look inside.
Just what do the Muslims living in and enjoying western democracy say about the parts of the Quran that promote violence? – they claim to live by that book!
The violence against the unbeliever and the horrific treatment of women is in the Quran.
So, are we to believe that the peaceful Muslims have another version or perhaps we are supposed to believe they’ll just skim over those parts?
Where is the western Muslim’s outrage against this violence that’s happening all over the Muslim world?
What about the poor woman in Iran they want to stone using the Quran as justification? Where is the Muslim outrage over that?
No more is it good enough to hear that the Muslims here are peaceful. They have to address this violence issue.
Time to stand up and be counted!

I learned everything I needed to know about islam when those planes hit the Twin Towers and the Pentagon and crashed at full speed into the ground in Shanksville. This is a ‘religion’ that teaches hatred and death for those who aren’t “of the faith”. Islam is NOT a religion. It is a political ideology disguised as a religion. Never forget that. It is akin to marxism, stalinism and yes, naziism. Many muslim leaders allied themselves with hitler in support of his Jewish genocide.

A true religion is concerned with the spiritual portion of a person’s life. The fruits of that spiritual teaching affect all other aspects of that person’s behavior. Islam dominates every aspect of a muslim’s life. It lays out the spiritual, legal, commercial, political, governmental and even sexual rules for its adherents.

I do not hate muslims. But I‘ve seen the results of what their ’religion’ teaches in NY, Bali, Madrid, Chechnya, London and Bhopal. If they can practice their ‘faith’ in a peaceful and non-violent manner that’s fine by me. But if they don’t, I think we should show them the very same ‘tolerance’ they showed the 3,000 people they murdered on 9/11.

I would shake hands with a muslim, but I won’t turn my back on one.

The truth is that we would not even be having this about discussion about the “mosque at ground zero” (which is what the Muslims are calling it in Arabic) if we did not have an apologist president named Barack Hussein Obama. Islam has been emboldened in America in the last 18 months just as it has been in Europe.

This is a nation of religious tolerence, which is exactly why the current Muslim attitude is not welcome. They are not playing by our rules of mutual respect, they are demanding their “rights” to put up a victory memorial near the place where radical representatives of their religion murdered 2935 American citizens.

Mr. Obama has dictated to Americans his vision of the politically correct attitude for America. Americans disagree! We do not want the Mosque there, it is an afront to our sensibilities. Like the idiots who burn the American flags at Iraqi veteran’s funerals they HAVE the right to do do it, but ARE THEY RIGHT TO DO IT?

No – please stop telling us what to think and start supporting our ideals. Dictators lie, Leaders lead.

    WAKE UP AMERICA!

We are in a Holy War, even if only in the minds of the enemy. Keep in mind that Islam is system of laws, financial and political systems in the guise of religion. Read the Koran, the Haddith and the other texts that define Islam and you will understand. Research the concept of ‘abrogation’ as applied to the Koran. Also, do not rely on US news to get the real picture, even Fox News…read the overseas news, including in the Arab world and the Far East.

While we are offended by one man burning the Koran, Bibles are confiscated at foreign ports and destroyed as ‘contraband;’ those caught with them are imprisoned (at best).

While we discuss our progress (or lack thereof) on equal rights for women, an estimated 85 % of the women jailed in Pakistan are there for being raped without being able to produce 4 male Muslims to corroborate the claim.

While we argue over the effects of violent video games on our children, Islamic countries have theirs write and recite Jihadist death poetry in school.

While our children watch Barney and Sesame Street, their children watch a girl in fatigues call for Jihad and impose a Sharia punishment on a Bugs Bunny-like character.

While we debate the location of the Shrine To The Magnificent 19 (Mosque at GZ), churches are burned, Bibles desecrated and Pastors beaten and jailed. Saudi Arabia has funding the building of numerous mosques in this country (we went from ~600 pre-9/11 to over 6,000 now) and Whahabbi Imams are in our jails converting prisoners to Islam.

You might want to check on the UN, too. In response to the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights, there is now a Universal Islamic Declaration Of Human Rights; these two declarations are diametrically opposed on key principles. To add insult to injury, Iran was appointed to the Council on Women’s Rights. Moreover, the UN has banned criticism of Sharia Law and Islamic Human Rights, as well as ‘defamatory’ comments against Islam. As a result, no real discussions on slavery (including the modern sex slave trade), child marriage, pedophilia, female circumcision, etc. can take place in the UN, leaving it more impotent than ever.

The Stealth Jihad is well underway in the West – look to the UK to see where we will be in 10 years.
But don’t listen to me – do your own research and WAKE UP!

For a harsh look at reality view http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/Americanattacks.htm it is a list of Americans killed courtesy of the religion of peace. We have had more terror plots and attacks on U.S. soil since President Obama took office than any other time in U.S. history, our Country has never been more at risk than it is right now. Sharia Law and political Islam are not compatible with our Constitution, our Bill of Rights or our Nation.

I was over come with emoiton, Thank you.
I also just had a moment with my two grand sons.
I took the time to go over the the pictures posted on Yahoo. Explaning to them what happened, That agroup of Muslams,,, Muslams,,,I say again,,,Muslams flew Passenger planes into the twin towers,
the pentagon and the empty field in Pennsylvania. And why it was an empty field and not the Capital or the White House. And just like those people on the 4th plane, when they figured out what was going on,,,They chose to do some thing about it.
I think that we the people have chosen to do something on Nov.2.
If we don’t ,,, then will we most assuredly go down inthe flames of Marxism and decay as many other cultures before.
Teach your children and grand children. teach them about 9/11/01. and why. We didn’t attack, we were attacked.

Repost of mine from another story……

The only reason the United States is the number one target for terrorism is because we stand for freedom and Christian values. Freedom has allowed our nation to prosper like no other. Regardless of how far from the Constitution we have gone we still have more freedom than those who target us. Terrorism will only stop when either their leaders are wiped out or they have taken over our freedom. This is harsh and some might say hateful of me to say but sometimes the truth is hard to swallow. I think the sooner our government and nation come to this realization the safer we will all become.

God bless you Todd Morgan Beamer and “LET’S ROLL!”

I Said a Prayer for You Today danglingbags

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
      Although He spoke no word!

I didn’t ask for wealth of fame
      (I knew you wouldn’t mind).
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!

I asked that He’d be near you
      At the start of each new day;
To grant your health and blessings
And friends to share your way!

I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small.
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

My poor wife, has to listen to me complain about where the moderate Muslums are

I was so proud to be a Christian when I heard no less than 4 commentators dissaprove of the Quran burning on my way to work yesterday. As a Christian, and an AMERICAN we don’t burn books. Our founding fathers knew Christianity will win in the marketplace of ideas.

All I can tell people is that even as broken and pathetic as I am.. God loves me. God cares about and is interested in me. I Know God loves every one of us … Yes, Dinglebags God LOVES you, cares about you and is interested in you personally!

Lets not loose sight of the pain the Families of 9/11 victum’s must feel today. Please God, give them peace and strength to carry on. Please God let the families know many people around the world are praying for them today. I‘m sorry I don’t think about them more often..

Unless you link your sources, I’m going to assume the reason for that would be that Jews just REPORT a lot more hate crimes than Muslims. Watch “defamation” on YouTube, it’s pretty good!
