Islamist Anjem Choudary’s Christmas Message: If Jesus Were Alive Today He Would Be Muslim and Implement Sharia Law

Radical Islamist Anjem Choudary, the jihadist who once called for the execution of the pope and whose militant group even asked if “the assassination of President Obama is legal” — has released a Christmas message in which he asserts that Jesus, if alive today, would be a practicing Muslim. Not only that but, according to Choudary, Jesus (who he refers to as “Isa”) would also be leading the crusade to free “Muslim land” and implement sharia law across the world.

The militant also claims that “Christmas has many evils associated with it” and that the “pagan holiday” is something that “Muslims must put on their agenda, to forbid and to invite people away from” by bringing them into Islam.

Watch Choudary deliver his message courtesy of the ever-vigilant staff at MEMRI. A partial text follows below the video:

The following is a partial transcript of Choudary’s Christmas message. Some of the more outrageous passages have been noted in bold:

Christmas is a period when many events and many views are heard. In particular, at this time of the year, people think about Jesus – ‘Isa, may he rest in peace. Jesus was not a Christian, and in fact, if Jesus was alive today, he would be following the Muslims and Islam.

Indeed, ‘Isa said that the Messenger Muhammad would come after him, and he gave him one of the names which Allah has mentioned in the Koran – Ahmad. Indeed, ‘Isa was a Muslim. [...]

In fact, he said that you worship, and you obey, and you follow none but Allah. That is the true message of Jesus, as found in the Koran, and in the statements of the Messenger Muhammad.

In this period as well, the Muslims – those who had the attribute of commanding good and forbidding evil – should realize that Christmas has many evils associated with it. Every true Christian as well knows that this has nothing to do with Christianity. This pagan festival, where there is promiscuity, the abuse of alcohol, domestic violence, and all kinds of crimes, the break-up of families, which are associated with it, is something that the Muslims must put on their agenda, to forbid and to invite people away from this debauchery, in Islam, the pure way of life.

Indeed, Jesus will return one day, and he will break the cross, and he will pray behind the Muslims. He will declare with them that indeed, he believes in the finality of the message of Muhammad, and in Islam.

Choudary goes on to proclaim that if Jesus was We find that the Christian leaders nowadays are targeting the Muslims and imprisoning them. I have little doubt that indeed, if Jesus was alive today, “he would probably spend his time in Belmarsh Prison, because of the views that he carries,“ and that he would ”not be with the Israelis, but rather, with the Muslims, the Palestinians, against the occupation.”

“He would not be with the Americans and the British in Iraq and Afghanistan, but rather, with the Muslims struggling and striving to liberate their land, and to implement divine law.”

    Note how muslims do not ever hesitate for even the briefest of moments before uttering the most vile things imaginable. It is done by design. It is Jihad and it should be punishable be removal of citizenship and deportation to Saudi Arabia.

    How long will it take Americans to understand that each and every word uttered and each and every action taken by the muslim is designed to spread Islam through deception.

    Remember these words. You will witness, as the years go by, that there will NEVER be any retreat by the muslims engaged in Jihad. The intransigent nature of Islam guarantees that this behavior only increases and never decreases.

    There is, sadly, only way way to decrease Jihad; you must decrease the muslim population. While many call for drastic actions, I believe being stripped of citizenship and deported is far more preferable as the muslim may one day apostate. It is a dim hope, but hope nonetheless.

Andy Stern, destroyer of freedoms. David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel, Larry Summers, Davis Plouffe, Peter Orszag, Jacob Lew, Gene Sperling, Eric Lynn, Elena Kagan, James Steinberg, Mona Sutphen, Jarred Bernstein, Ron Klain, Susan Sher, Lee Feinstein, Lara Rudmann, Dennis Ross, Kenneth Feinberg, Daniel Fried, Steven Rattner, Alan Bersin, Todd Stern… on and on.

      All of these people are in powerful positions in our government, and all are Jewish. All follow the philosophies of Marx, Alinsky, and Piven. These three are Jewish also.

      If you can find an equivalent list of Muslim’s, you might have a point of argument. As it is, these doers are destroying America insidiously.

Every time one of them speaks, we all realize how stupid they are. They do not even have the most basic aspects of education. They do not have the ability to think or to analyze.       You do not understand how Jihad works, or, and this the more likely answer, you are a muslim engaged in Jihad in an effort to spread Islam.

      The list of muslim jihadis is nearly inexhaustible and their bloody deeds many. However, it is best left to the reader to research, especially those in Europe who have a long and bloody history with the muslim armies sent forth to conquer the lands for Allah.

      Jihad is engaged in by your average muslim each and every day. The deception that Allah is God is presented each and every day by average ordinary muslims practicing the faith their warlord leader propagated by the sword.

      Is it any wonder that they would spew out so much trash? If I were not a real believer, I would suggest ethnic cleansing. However because I am not like them I suggest deportation instead to any Muslim that doesn’t do what we would be expected to do in their horrible countries.

He said those without sin can cast the first stone, no one could and he told the woman caught in the act of adultery to go and sin no more.       That Jesus is not the Son of God, never said He was, and that when he reappears he’ll point to the “actual” emissary of allah.

      Islam’s Jesus is the False Prophet of Revelation, and he will point to the Anti-Christ and say “follow him,” and anyone who doesn;t know the difference will do exactly that.

      He is right about Christmas being a pagan holiday, just like Easter. If we Christians stopped celebrating these holidays we would have a much higher standing in the eyes of those outside the church. I know that Allah and the all the Gods of mythology don’t exist, and that it is not wrong to celebrate these holidays but by celebrating these holidays you could be leading someone away from Christ. God will have something to say about that,, just so you know.

      The House of Islam seeks to usurp the deities of non-muslims. Then through, deception and jihad, they work to erase the target culture and replace it completely with Islam and their deity, Allah.

      Mohammed discovered that by establishing a false link between Allah and God, he could infiltrate and destroy his two main rivals, the Jews and the Christians. It has allowed his adherents to work massive damage cloaked in the garb of a god not their own.

      But more and more are, I think, because of the internet, seeing through the deception. Many are angered and upset at the abuse of both the physical and the spiritual of which Islam is guilty.

      Paperpushermj, read your comment, then look into a mirror. Jewish is BOTH a religion and an ethnicity, race according to many leading Jews.

      The people living in the area north of Judah were called Samaritans, not Jews. They lived in Samaria. The people living in the area north of Samaria were called Galilean, not Jews. They lived in Galilee. Christ lived in Galilee.

      The religion called Judaism began 300-500 years after Christ. There was no religion called Judaism at the time of Christ.

      History lesson: The Samaritans, who did live in Samaria, were a separate religious group with similar but distinct beliefs from the Jews. They were named separately to indicate that the Jews didn’t see them as being of the same people. Jews lived all throughout the land and throughout the entirety of the Roman empire. It is not contradictory to call Jesus a Galilean Jew. It describes his place of origin and his background.

      Choudary is a clown and an embarrassment even to Muslims, but his claims that Jesus would be Muslim is taken from the Qur’an. It twists the whole Gospel of Jesus around so when Jesus comes back he comes back as a Muslim, proclaims Islam the true religion and breaks the cross.
      Just remember all that the next time a Muslims says that they have reverence for Jesus. Just remember that in Islam Jesus is a mere prophet, lower in rank than many of the others that the Qur’an plagiarizes, and much lower than Muhammad, who sits at the right hand of Allah, while Jesus in only in the third or fourth heaven. (According to Muhammad’s Wild Night Ride – his imaginary claim to travel to Jerusalem on some winged donkey and then visits heaven).
      Islam gloms onto Jesus like it gloms onto anything on value and tries to claim it as it’s own. It has to, because on it’s own it has nothing original that’s good to offer.

      I’m not saying it can’t be true. It’s obvious that the Vatican is corrupt and may have always been, but your story rings of some conspiracy theory where everything fits into place a little too conveniently.
      I mean, how could this Pope know who Muhammad would become? He hadn’t even started having his “visions” yet when he married his first wife.

      Clearly, since you profess to like history lessons, then you must know that the Essences were also a separate religious group with similar but distinct beliefs from the Jews. Jesus had similar, but distinct beliefs from those you call the Jews.
      Jesus could have been called a Galilean Essene, but not a Galilean Jew. As you know, you are mixing the ethnic Jew with the religious Jew. There were ethnic Jews at the time of Christ, but there were no Jews of Judaism, because there was no Judaism in Christ’s time.

      Jews were from Judah. Samaritans were from Samaria. And, Galileans were from Galilee. Jesus was no Jew. He was Galilean.

      The word “Jew” comes from Judean. Judean refers to descendants from the kingdom of Judea that was destroyed by the Babylonians. That Kingdom was named after Judah, the tribe from which its monarchs came which in turn refers to their being descendants of Judah. The term Judaism may or may not have existed in the 1st century CE but the idea that all those who practiced it were descendants of Israel (Jacob) and the southern kingdom of Judea existed even then. Pharisees, Sadducees, and Essenes all traced themselves back to the same origins and recognized that in each other. The Samaritans were not accepted as true Israelite descendants by the Jews going as far back as the time of the Persian Empire.

      Since the tribes of the northern Israelite kingdom (known as Israel) were lost, all those adhering to the religion of the Hebrew G-d (Samaritans excluded) were descendants of those who lived in the ancient kingdom of Judea. As such it isn’t inaccurate to call Jesus a Jew as he was of Judean descent. Moreover, if Matthew’s account is taken as fact, Jesus was a descendant of the Davidic line of kings and thus belonged to the tribe of Judah.

      As for Jesus being an Essene, that is debatable and unprovable, though we can certainly conclude that he wasn’t a Sadducee or a Zealot.

      In my opinion you deny Jesus’ Jewish background because all your ideas about Jews and Judaism would be challenged by such a concept.

Christ goes to the great temple at passover during the days of his passion and crucifixion. He celebrates passover at the last supper.       you have to remember the Qaran teaches that it is a holy book written by God, and those who do not follow its teachings, and believe in the true God will burn in hell. Sound familiar? They grew up with this stuff, they believe it, and in their holy book Christians are betting on the wrong horse, and going to hell.
      They are sharing what they know to be true from their crazy holy book, which by the way has as many atrocities and horrors and the bible. they are from the same source, and are quite similar. They are doing what many Christian extremists are doing. They are spreading the word of what they believe is the true God so people don’t suffer in hell. They think Jesus was a prophet, and then Mohammad came as the son of God, and He flew off into the sky, not Jesus, in spirit to live forever. Silly, but it should sound quite familiar.

      Jesus overturned the vendors tables on the Temple Mount. The Temple was controlled by the Sadducees therefore it was the Sadducees that he was opposing. This is supported by the fact that the Biblical account depicts the High Priest, a Sadducee, as presiding over his trial. The Pharisees on the other hand, didn’t believe in the torturous forms of execution used by the Romans and would never have handed him over.

      The main difference between Pharisees and Sadducees is that Pharisees believed there was more to the law than just what was written and that there were oral traditions that also applied. They were willing to interpret laws. The Sadducees only read the literal law and that was it.
