Islamist Party Wins Most Seats in Morocco Parliamentary Elections

The Interior Ministry of Morocco says an Islamist party is set to get its first crack at forming the next government after winning the largest bloc of seats in Friday’s parliamentary elections, according to The Associated Press.
With about two-thirds of all results in Saturday, the Justice and Development Party had taken 80 seats out of 282 so far announced. A total of 395 seats were up for grabs in the nationwide vote a day earlier.The second place finisher, Istiqlal, was far behind with 45 seats. According to the nation’s new constitution, the party with the most seats gets first crack at forming a new government.
AP reports that the elections were brought forward a year in response to the “Arab Spring” wave of pro-democracy protests. Morocco’s government said 45 percent of registered voters participated in the election, a slight increase over the previous contest in 2007.
Morocco has been a close U.S. ally and popular European tourist destination, but suffers from high unemployment and widespread poverty.
AP reports that in recent years Morocco’s Islamists have cultivated an image as honest outsiders battling corruption and seeking to improve services, rather than focusing on moral issues such as the women’s headscarf.
Saturday’s results seem to confirm a trend of victories by Islamist parties in elections prompted by the Arab Spring, following Ennahda’s win last month in Tunisia.
Al Jazeera English reports that the king amended the constitution to give more powers to parliament, government and the prime minister, which was approved in a July 1 referendum. The prime minister still must be appointed by the king from the party that wins the most assembly seats, and the king still holds authority over the military and religious affairs, as well as appointing ambassadors and diplomats.
AP reports that activists have called the moves insincere, and clamored for a boycott:
“At that polling station, at least 16 percent of the ballots were either blank or invalid, often because voters had crossed out every party in protest at the choice. In 2007, 19 percent of ballots were invalid. In the course of Friday’s vote a number of Moroccans, both those voting and not, expressed dissatisfaction with the political process and the choice of politicians.”

It is always simple to know who the Democrat party will side with in any confrontation: just pick the most militant anti-American group, and that will be the group that the Democrat party will side with. I’m always suspicious of any group or movement supported or encouraged by Democrats. They are hoping the Arab Spring will lead to the American Autumn.

Then they will cut off the flow of oil to all the infidels. The emerging nations ( China, India) will need this oil desperately to maintain growth, social and economic stability. In Europe the Muslim minority will take advantage of the Euros collapse to wage jihad. Either a popular Euro-centric, nationalist, conservative movement will arise to counter the Islamo-fascist jihad, or Europe will implode. Either way all the armies of the world will be forced to march on the middle east and the populations there will be utterly destroyed. In all likely hood it will be a limited nuclear war and the Shi’ites and Sunnys will fight among themselves as much as the invaders. Mecca will be vaporized in an instant. And everyone lived happily ever after.

High unemployment, low illiteracy and the growing influence of the Islamic Brotherhood is going to kill any investment into this region, Wealth will begin to leave, Christians will be forced to fight or die and migrate out these countries and they will take their considerable wealth with them. In Egypt they will loot the ancient treasures in the Cairo Museum and destroy monument after monument in the name of Allah as they did the Buddhist statues in Afghanistan. The people of this region thing Islam will deliver them out of their hardships but it is going to do the opposite. This region is dead. We need to protect Israel and Jordan now. That is all that is left in this region worth protecting. Let the rest fall.

The Muslim Brotherhood has stated they want to join all these countries into a Caliphate for the rise of the 13th Imam.
These are the same people that Obumbler and Hilrod said were reasonable and we could work with them.
Our current leadership (ha ha) will bring on a war in the mid east and if you rthink Israel wont turn the whole area into one large radiation zone you’re living in a dream world.

We have a USA Constitution we vote in fascists like Bush and Marxists like Obama to destroy.
Its wonderful how much these two men have in common. Both love starting unneeded wars and without Congress actually voting for war as per the Constitution also. Bush used a fig leaf over his “congress approval” war and Obama just flat out didn’t bother getting even an approval but both men violated the Constitution by not having Congress DECLARE war.
Both men love the Patriot Act that Bush started which violates the 1st and 4 amendment and Obama who cried like a baby over it saying it was bad then extended it.
Both men loaded our country with debt with Bush really cranking it up and Obama then doubling what Bush did.

What kind of congress does not declare war but instead uses “The Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists”? It was pretty much unanimous. 97.4% of Congressmen voted for the use of force. The majority of Democrats voted for use of force. We should have got a declaration of war.
We could have gotten that & it was a mistake that we didn’t. Ted Kennedy, the public dove but private aggressor against women, would have histrionically railed against going to war, but he would have been over ridden.
What were we supposed to do? The Taliban was working hand in glove with Al Qaeda. We asked them to turn over Usama. They refused. We should just give up & say oh well?
At that point t should we just go for a prevent defense until the end of time taking body blows & never going to the offensive?
On September 14, 2001 bill House Joint Resolution 64 passed in the House. The totals in the House of Representatives were: 420 Ayes, 1 Nay and 10 Not Voting (the Nay was Barbara Lee – D-CA).

Don’t you also find it so strange that all these countries are moving toward injecting Religion into Government yet here in the USA we are doing the exact opposite removing all mention of Religion from our Government yet Obama is doing both he applauds the Arab spring movement and at the same time doing everything in his power to dismantle religion when it concerns running our great Country.
So what is Obama doing and why is he doing both, and why is the media not seeing and pointing out these very odd and glaring discrepancy’s.
I think Obama is the second Satan the Devil in sheep’s clothing why people still believe in this Lunatic is amazing it’s like he can do no harm even as the blood dripping knife is in his hands and a smile on his lips all he needs to do is say it was necessary and we blindly believe him.

THE CALIPHATE, the first order of business for the Islamic government will be to ask all Christians to denounce faith in Christ and declare Islam and worship Allah, then we’ll find out who the real Christians are! I suspect there will be few, narrow is the way that leads to life and few therein will find it! If a Christian won’t stand up against the devil now, slim chance then! Hopefully Jesus will rapture the church prior to this event of this Islamic government taking control and this will happen in the Great Tribulation spoke of in the book of Revelations! Don’t know though! The anti-christ will rule the world then, I would say all Islamic people could be defined as anti Christian, wouldn’t you?
