New Hamas representative to Tehran told in an inaugural interview that the ultimate goal of the movement was to free the entire Palestinian land, destroy the Zionist regime and rescue the revered Quds from the claws of the Zionists.
Khaled al-Qoddoumi said Hamas would not pay any attention to the negative propaganda of the western media that Hamas should or would withdraw from the path of resistance.In a first interview with Iranian media after arriving in Tehran, Qoddoumi, who replaced Osama abd al-Mo’ti early in May, said Israel has no belief in living alongside the Palestinian nation.
The senior Hamas member refuted any option of compromise with Israel and underlined resistance as the only way of struggling with the occupiers and restoring the rights of the Palestinian nation. He predicted that one day, the Quds would return to the lap of the world of Islam.
Asked about the status and position of resistance in Palestine and its destiny, the Hamas envoy said the Palestinian resistant people has stood fast to the way of resistance while the form of such resistance have varied from stone throwing to military confrontation to missile firing to popular demonstrations. “Today, the nation has kept the path alongside the Arab world, Muslims and all free people of the world,” he added.
Asked whether the Palestinian nation considers the option of compromise with Israel as legitimate, he said the Palestinian nation sees no reason to approve the option as it sees compromise as a futile and useless way. “The Israeli side has never sought peace. They have no belief in living alongside the Palestinian nation or other Muslim nations. The Zionist regime is a cancer and cancer must be uprooted,” he said.
Al-Qoddoumi said Hamas was more powerful than ever and has acquired a stronger faith in the path of resistance which guarantees the restoration of the rights of the Palestinian nation.
Touching on the recent reconciliation deal between his movement and Fatah, he said the Hamas believes that a new page opened in the history of Palestine by the deal. “We have a golden opportunity ahead. People expect us to feel the results of the deal in practice. We must forge the past and follow a new stage, namely a stage of resistance until the Zionist regime is defeated,” he said.
Al-Qoddoumi denied reports that Hamas was going to move its office from Damascus to other countries and said Hamas has no decision to transfer its office from the Syrian capital.
The envoy also expressed sympathy with the families of those killed across the “Israeli border” in the recent popular demonstrations and said the demonstration ere a new form of Intifada. “These blood heralds the approaching end of the Zionist regime and freedom of the entire Palestinian land. We can certainly call the incident a third intifada,” he added.

Yes, Christians are to love their enemy, but “love” does not mean tolerate evil (or stand idle while evil is wrought on the innocent), any more than the love spoken of has anything to do w/ the erotic.
The love Christ spoke of is not returning evil for evil (& that on a personal level). But the evil will be avenged lacking repentance. Make no mistake that the God of the Bible is God and Judge of all. Vengeance is His (says the Lord), He will repay. (Duet 32:35, Rom 12:10, Heb 10:30).

Prepare us and soften us up for the eventual annihilation of Iran so when it happens we can all say well they got what they deserved and we can all feel good about ourselves?
It’s all BS! I get tired of the Propaganda campaign.. I don’t even care that much for Arabs but I do care for intellectual honesty.. I want an honest debate. If you can’t come up with at least 3 pros and cons from each pt of view then you are not having an honest debate it’s that simple.
The entire premise for this inane conjured up so called “War on Terror” all stems from the fact that we have been helping Israel for the past 60 years.. That is the bottom line. It needs to be front and center in every debate. Iran leadership wants Israel taken out yes but not all Arab/Muslim countries want Israel to be eliminated. Iran has no ability to wipe Israel off the map. Iran wants to provoke an Israeli attack so that all Muslims will retaliate. Israel needs a Jew/Muslim war to drive Muslims from Jerusalem to tear the Dome of the Rock down and build a new Temple. Israel has no way of attacking Iran due to no airspace to Iran.
Saudi Arabia will not allow Iran to take out Israel and be the reigning sect over Islam.The King will not allow that to happen. If Saudi Arabia wanted Israel wiped out the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas (Sunni) would not be talking to Iran (Shia), they would talk to the King (Sunni). This is why there is a social war in the Middle East between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Iran toppled Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen. Saudi Arabia is toppling Syria thru the majority Sunnis there.
The Sunni sect that rules has the Dome of the Rock and all other shrines in their territories. The Shia have nothing and need to knock the Sunnis off in order to be seen as the ruling party. If the Sunni sect wanted war with Israel they would do it. The reason they haven’t is because there is no gain. Only Iran and Israel will gain from a Muslim/Jew war. The Saudis will soon knock Iran off especially after Iran’s defiance in OPEC yesterday.

Israel sees race/religion first just as Arabs/Muslims see race/religion first. Jews were slaughtered by Germany Hitler because he saw race first and because Jews were not forced to live under German law. Germany Hitler saw Germany as natural German land and Jews as aliens taking over “their” land.
Israel today see “their” land taken over by aliens, Arabs/Muslims. Israel wants them out of “their” land and keeps such aliens in camps (gaza and west bank). Arabs/Muslims want Israel out of “their” land. Arabs/Muslims want to drive Israelis into the sea.
What is the difference in view between Israel and Germany Hitler and the difference in Arab/Muslim and Germany Hitler?
Both view the other as “aliens” and both want to drive the other out of “their natural” land. Both see race/religion first and both are killing the other whether thru sanctions/starvation or thru suicide bombers/rockets. Isn’t the problem seeing race/religion first?

I do not see that working in their favor to Nuke their own holy site they already obtain. It would hurt Muslims to Nuke Israel as the fallout would prevent them from worshipping at the Dome of the Rock. Think people.
Who gains from an Israeli/Muslim war? The goal of Judaism is to build a new temple where the Dome of the Rock sits.
