Israel Shuts Cairo Embassy, Diplomats Flee

Ramin Mazaheri, Press TV, Cairo

“Since the announcement that Hosni Mubarak has stepped down, people have been celebrating across the world. But one group isn’t joining the party: Israel’s representatives in Cairo.

The embassy here has been shut down indefinitely, and the Israeli flag was removed from the building’s roof.

The BIG LIES have begun. Obama has his slave media assuring everyone Peace with Israel remains in place. So it may seem on the surface, but an underground cold war has begun. A pro Israel regime does not fall on the precise day anniversary 2/11 of the Iranian Revolution by mere coincidence. The timing of Mubarak’s departure 2/11 is the strongest message possible Egypt now belongs to IRAN . Egypt will now march to the Islamo Fascist master plan for exterminating the jews. The Christians will also be beaten out of Egypt.

It’s time for Israel to come out of the closet about their nuclear capability. They need to warn the Muslim world that they will take them ALL with them if they attempt to overrun Israel. Everybody knows they have the weapons we just don’t know how many or what type and size. They need to make the consequences clear if anyone is foolish enough to attack them.

I believe that most Jews are liberal and I don’t mean that in a pejorative sense. They simply want to live and let live. This passivity got them in terrible trouble in the not too distant past and most Israelis are alert to the threats. Jewish Americans however, are insulated by their social network, which is largely liberal, and a healthy dose of denial. Although they are good people, love God and hope for a brighter tomorrow, conservative activism has little appeal. Enlightenment is the answer and folks like Glenn are trying to provide it. The Soros revelations caused many Jews to circle the wagons but it also shed light on a mosnster in their midst. Pray for them

Obviously the Isrealis are spooked by events on the ground….pulling htier embassy staff out as quickly as they did shows they know something is definitely afoot. Let’s face facts here Egyptian public opinion has never supported the Camp David Accord peace treaty, it took a dictatorship and billions of dollars of “aid” to enforce the treaty. Now that the regime is gone the statement by the transistion trustees (the Amry) of upholding the accord is not enough assyrance for the Isrealis to leave their Embassy staffed and open. It may only be a precautrionary move until the political atmosphere stabilizes but IMO the Isrealis likely have advance info (through their Mossad agency) that the embassy should be evacuated ASAP. The Army only dissolved the regime in the last 24 hours (officially speaking) and suspended the constitution (likely for good) so the speed of which Ireal moved is not what I would consider late at all. Now if other countries begin to follow suit in the moinths ahead that will surely point ot the situation going in the wrong direction. If I were the US I’d have the embassy staff in Cairo ready to evacuate in 24 hours notice….the last thing the US needs right now is a repeat of Tehran.

Nothing good will come out of this for Israel or for Egypt.

This has just demonstrated that mob rule can overthrow a government that has been in power for 30 years and cause it to act outside it’s Constitution. What precedent does this set? And, how is it going to play out in the rest of the Arab world?

Around 250,000 people who protested in Tahir Square toppled a government. We have no idea what the other 82+ million Egyptians think about it. They had no say in the matter.

There is absolutely no guarantee that the government that will be installed by the military will be any better than the last, and it could be alot worse if the Muslim Brotherhood gains power. Then it will end up just like Iran when the Mullahs took over in 1979 after the protest there. Now the Mullahs have been ruling with an iron fist ever since. This is Iran 32 years later where they hung 46 hangings in 20 days over the last Christmas.

No of course you wouldn’t, so any day now the trumpet may sound and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then those that are called by his name will meet Christ in the sky, stop Sinning, pray, pray, pray, get your heart right with God,remember God is not willing that any perish but that all come to repentance,God is not sending you to hell those of you that don’t believe are sending yourself to hell, God bless your nation Israel and God Bless the United States of America,Come quickly Lord Jesus

I really do hope that Egypt transitions to a new stable democratic government, however I have to agree with some of the comments here and on other articles. I agree that a key issue to watch is how they treat Israel. As well I am just not convinced yet that something nefarious is not afoot. I know that some may wonder how what happens in Egypt would have any affect on us or any other ally country but it really will have a far reaching effect either way the pendulum swings.

Israelites should leave the middle east. Right now is not the time to live there. Just keep the military in Israel and send the families out. I hope they can overcome this turmoil and the peace treaty continues to be enforced. IMO, the most objective measure of the new Egyptian government’s intentions will be how it treats Israel. If they go after Israel, we can all expect the anti-western agendas to gain footing and put all of the west in imminent danger.

I certainly don’t see a democracy in Egypt because the people are all corrupt. What do you expect with the way they’ve had to live for so long?

We all have this inherent hope that each newly toppled regime will spring democracy, yet how foolish is this, really? I mean, if America was toppled tomorrow, doesn’t anybody seriously believe that the same exact republic would be formed? With 30% of the population convinced socialism is a better option than what we currently have? Ha!

He’s a Muslim dude. And Muslims hate Christians and Jews. Right now I am sure Israel is wondering who, if anyone, has their back. Rest assured, if Israel pulls the trigger it will be a nuclear one. US presence in the middle east has been counter productive. We’ve essentially “guaranteed” Isreal’s security while their enemies have used the time to build strength and confidence. Think about our response to the Cuban missile crisis. There was no one to run to and no one could step in to make us feel better about an obvious threat to our nation. So as any responsible government, we handled it ourselves by confrontation. Over its short history, Israel has shown itself to be quite capable of defending itself and dismantling threats with the exception of the past 20 years. Why? Because the US persuaded Israel to stand down and “trust us” and the UN while Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran built their capability and positions. The US has tried to get everyone to play nice in the sand box by granting concessions, foreign aid, and making Israel stand down. But hows that been working for us? The demands of the Palestinian leadership are unyielding and they haven’t been able to maintain the political structure to secure an agreement. The western orientated leadership in the region have been cowards to step in and “help” the Palestinians reach a sensible treaty. The vacuum has been filled by those who want Israel destroyed by egging on the jihadists and intefadah. If we had gotten out of the way, Israel would have done long ago what any reasonable nation would do when a longstanding enemy attempts to acquire capability to make good on its threat to eradicate it. Every day that goes by only increases the magnitude of the response needed to put down the threat and if Iran acquires a nuke, all bets are off. There is something to be said about total victory and forcing your mortal enemy into full surrendor. It removes all doubt on what the situation is and creates the next best opportunity for a peace treaty. If nothing else, putting down an enemy buys time – something that has been growing short of late and the Egyptian situation appears to add to the pressure. Its time to let Israel conduct its own foreign policy. We may actually find Israel’s neighbors respond more cooperatively to its rediscovered posture for vigorously defending itself.

      F.Y.I.

      2-10-11

Caller: I believe that President Obama’s agenda is purely nefarious. He has been conspiring with the Muslim Brotherhood to undermine the Mubarak government. Obama’s intentions are to divest the United States of any of its’ current allies that he deems to be allied to the American Right. As such, him being a “crypto socialist”, his agenda is to make the world safe for socialism. He is not an incompetent buffoon when you consider that he has moved that agenda quite a bit of late. Any other interpretation is grossly naive.

Host: So, in other words, you are saying that he is against any alliance that strengthens the American Right and they will take it down no matter what the cost? They will burn a nation to the ground in order to destroy an alliance between American’s Right Wing and that nation?

Caller: Absolutely. He wants a power vacuum in Egypt because he knows that the vacuum will defer to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Host: And how does America gain if the Muslim Brotherhood accedes the power?

Caller: The “Left” gains. They don’t care! “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

Host: So the Left gains and all they want is to make the world safer for socialism.

Caller: Correct. That is his only intent.

Host: So I personally believe that there is an element that Obama wants to see an uprising in Israel. Israel having to cede the West Bank (so called) to the Palestinians. The emergence of a Palestinian state and him getting another Nobel Prize!

Caller: More important than that, it would get him a feather in his cap with the Left throughout the world and this is why he is so cynical about Israel; our one true ally in that part of the world and perhaps our best ally in the world (in spite of the Left wing faction as well).

I am an investor. But, more importantly, I am a person who tries to be as unbiased as possible.

Host: Do you think as well that the people who invested in Obama in the beginning have profited from the unrest in Egypt?

Caller: Absolutely. You were talking about Soros. Soros is the ultimate insider information man. Now, he is a Left wing apparatchik, but that is only convenient for him. He has set up his Leftist networking organization throughout the world. They repay him with insider information. For instance. Obama repaid him with the brokering of oil for Brazil in the Caribbean. He did this to repay him. That is how you repay Soros.

Host: How do we find out if the Soros fund made money off of trading in the Egyptian Pound over the last two weeks? Is there any way to find out right now?

Caller: Absolutely. Soros endears himself with any revolution that he helps conspire and he intimidates any opposition.

Host: I’ve been reading that it was Soros that helped facilitate the purchase of the Huffington Post by AOL Is that your reading as well?

Caller: AOL will crash and burn even faster. Soros is a crony capitalist who knows how to work the agenda on either side. It doesn’t matter. Ultimately, Soros could not manipulate the Left as well as he wished to, so he would resort to manipulating the Right or simply intimidating them as well.

Host: As an investor, is there any way to see if the Soros Fund has made any money on the Egyptian Pound in the last two weeks?

Caller: There is, but the way to look at it is that the money will not come during the revolution. The money will come in about a year or two.

      Host: Why?

Caller: Because just like Obama repaid Soros, the new government has to be entrenched before they can manipulate the insider information that he so cravenly requires.

Host: Okay, what if individuals who were behind overthrowing Mubarak (for the last two years we know that they have been plotting it, planning it, bringing in activists to be so called “educated” at the State Department in how to bring about a so called “twitter” revolution). So this has been carefully planned, carefully financed as we found out. Wouldn’t these individuals have bought into the Egyptian Pound three months ago?

Caller: Obama chastised one of his intelligence heads because he was saying that the Muslim Brotherhood might come out ahead. Now, he was quickly silenced because his fat pension is going to disappear if he doesn’t.

Host: But you aren’t answering my question. Wouldn’t these individuals behind the Egyptian overthrowing of Mubarak, wouldn’t they not have invested in the Egyptian Pound in shorting it a month or two ago?

      Caller: Yes they would have.

Host: How can we find out who benefited from the shorting of the Egyptian Pound as near as 30 days ago. Is there any way for any of us to get that information because that would tell us more than our speculation. Who profited from shorting the Egyptian Pound?

Caller: By talking to the Investment Bankers and Hedge Fund managers who handle these transactions.

Host: Well, good luck on that! They are all protected by the Obama administration.

Caller: Or private individuals who know about this because they follow the fundamentals. But the big money isn’t in shorting the currency. The big money will be for Soros in the insider information that it will take for him to really make a big billion dollar move. And, that will come after the revolution.

Host: Do you think it is fair to call Soros the “Rothschild” of our time? Or is that too nice for him?

Caller: That is insulting to Mr. Rothschild!

The two largest beneficiaries of American largess (foreign aid) in the world are Israel and Egypt. Criticize Jimmy Carter if you want, but he brought – or bought if you prefer – peace between Egypt for thirty years. The Egyptian army announced that commitments to other nations would be honored, including the peace treaty with Israel. There might have several reasons for that announcement, but one was that President Obama made it clear through diplomatic channels that America would withdraw support from their country they didn’t. US foreign aid did and continues to provide the currency needed to support the military. The Egyptians know that too, especially the military, and very few are spoiling for a war with Israel or anyone else. The governing powers know who is putting butter on their bread. All the people of Egypt is peace and stability and a voice.

      Very well said and true.
But you are forgetting one thing. You are projecting American thought into an ideology that believes dying for jihad grants favor from their god, allah. They believe that if they attack the “infidel’ Israel, and die, that their god will hold them in highest esteem. They don’t see victory the same way we do, they only see the end game, not the personal carnage that results as we do. When the United States goes to war, we see the death tolls every day on news shows and we rightfully grieve for the cost. They see the death tolls for their side and they cheer, for that is the number allah has blessed and welcomed into his kingdom for dying under the name of jihad.
Big difference in ideology, and you had better get it straight and realize who your enemy is before it is your neck under tyhe sword.
