Israel Warns Media: Don’t Board Gaza Flotilla

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel is threatening to bar international journalists from the country for years if they board ships attempting to breach the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.
A flotilla of Gaza-bound ships is due to set sail soon, perhaps this week.
On Sunday, Israel’s Government Press Office issued a statement calling the flotilla “a dangerous provocation” and an “international violation of Israeli law.”
It says participation in the flotilla “is liable to lead to participants being denied entry into the state of Israel for 10 years” and to additional sanctions.
Israel imposed the blockade in 2007, after Hamas overran Gaza.
Israel eased a land blockade after a deadly Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla last year. The naval blockade remains intact.

The fact that any U.S. journalist would board this Gaza flotilla to break this legal blockade, which was put in place to prevent the Hamas terrorists from getting weapons in order to attack Israel, is a contemptible act of cowardice on their part.
The U.S. journalists should be fired instantly because it’s obvious that they are equally as crazy as the Hamas terrorists they are supporting who are shooting up their own people at weddings for playing music no less!

An impeachment trial is held in the Senate, and a two-thirds vote is required to impeach the Prez. Good luck getting 2/3 of the Senate Dems to impeach him on anything in this partisan congress. It’s simple really, if you want to impeach any President, you have to have a good majority in the Senate. We should have replaced another dozen Senate Democrats last November…(hindsight 20/20). So, stop screaming for what is never going to happen and start supporting and campaigning for another dozen Republican Senators and another 50 Representatives in 2012 (hopefully more Tea Party Conservatives). …rf

Our rights aren’t granted by the Constitution — that‘s why they’re “inalienable”. Jefferson described them as endowed by a Creator. The Constitution is extraordinary because describes and protects those rights from the government, but the Declaration of Independance is based on the idea that we all have them, regardless of what our government says.

A journalist who is anywhere is not participating, but reporting. Next year, Fox will no doubt send correspondents to the Democratic National Convention. Will that mean that they agree with what’s being said? Of course not. They’re journalists — they’re supposed to go where the story is.

Reporters are not specially protected people, they are not gods on earth.

This kind of reminds me of the way the Palestinians and other terrorists hide their rocket launchers in daycare centers, and hide behind women and children to fire their rockets into Israel, in hopes the Israelis will target the launch site and kill a few of them so they can scream how the “agressors” in Israel are attacking their women and children.

Now for the rest of you, please consider what I write. There is NO doubt that We The People will forever be good friends of the Jewish people without reservation, but we cannot say the same of our government. Especially a government headed-up by our nations head Islamic cheerleader… Barack Obama.
We all know what keeps pouring gas on the Israeli fire is the radical Muslim community surrounding their small country, and we know that the political progressives in this country will side with radical Islam every time against Israel. Something has to change and it has to change quickly.
Looking at our options I see our president being a huge roadblock to sanity. There are MANY reason why Obama must lose the next election, but lets start with this issue. We MUST elect someone that not only understands and loves the Jewish people as most of us do, but we also need someone that understands the threat that Islam poses to the USA and Israel. Our problem at this time is… we don’t have ANYONE running that understands both and can beat the Obama machine.
For that we will have to look outside of our present choices for someone much better… that person would be Congressman Allen West. He has been a student of both Islam and the Jewish religion for his entire adult life and has spent many years helping to kill Islamic terrorists. Please help us get him on the Prez ballot for 2012.
