The Israeli military on Sunday used tear gas to disperse dozens of Palestinian protesters in the West Bank city of Hebron, reports RT News:
Protests reportedly started after teachers and students were forced to go through metal detectors at a checkpoint on their way to their school, despite refusing to pass through such detectors, citing health concerns. The Palestine News Network reported that four protesters fainted after inhaling the tear gas.

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 12:22pmGood….they need to start using live ammo to kill off these animals. Anyone who launches mortars & rockets into my city I’d have no mercy towards. Esp. after they slaughter woman & children, like I said there animals NOT Palestinians.

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 11:25pmPAPEACEMAKER, I like the way you think. I couldn’t care less, though, what Israel does in Hebron or to the Palestinians. What I want to ask you and my other Christian Americans what would YOU do to the people who attacked a US Warship and when the crew was attempting to abandon the ship the attackers began strafing those US Sailors who were in the water and in lifeboats? I bet you were thinking of Nazi Uboats, right?
No, I am referencing Israel’s attack on the USS Liberty, an intelligence ship. True story. Now I agree, Israel has a right to defend herself, BUT Israel is NOT a US ally! Israel has never been and never will be a friend to the US. Get Christian Americans out of the Middle East! Let Israel fight Iran. Let Israel, a nuclear power, defend HERSELF. And let the anathema of dual citizenship to both America and to any other country including Israel be DONE AWAY WITH once and for all!

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 8:27amPoint 1:
They weren’t “forcing their way through metal detectors” as a protest.
The protest started BECAUSE they were forced through metal detectors against their will.
Point 2:
There may not be actual health concerns regarding metal detectors, but that doesn’t mean you have to force people to go through them. And considering that there’s about one rocket attack every 6 months and a few rock throwing incidents every 3 months, I highly doubt these children are trying to smuggle in ‘bombs’.
Point 3:
If native americans walled white americans in, cut off electricity, gas, and running water, and repeatedly shelled them and bombed their hospitals, would you find it appropriate to say, “Well, the native tribes were there first!”
Point 4:
Backing a country “100%” just because you’ve decided to is the same kind of nationalism that gave us the nazis. Just because you support a country doesn’t mean you have to approve of everything it does.
I support Israel, but I don’t support this, and I don’t support the War on Gaza.

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 9:43amNewmexicoborn, I don’t support it either, Israel should be using live bullets and real gas instead of this crap. It’s time Israel tells the U.S. to go to hell and fight it like the war for survival it is.
Report Post »NewMexicoBorn
Posted on October 17, 2011 at 10:18amSure, a war for survival.
Sounds like a great idea.
Look at it this way: Israel has enemies in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Iran, Yemen, and probably Iraq too. Now what sounds better… just killing every single one of them?
Or trying to start a peace process?
Using excessive force only serves to widen the gap between these two groups.
You know the only reason Palestinians want some land back is because Israel has gotten all of the arable land, all of the water reserves, and most of the coast line. Were Palestine to become it’s own state, it would have no resources.
Do these people really deserve to be killed just because they’re off a different skin color? Because they’re of a different religion?
Do they deserve to die because a select few have made extremist comments? Because a select few have done violent acts?
If that’s true, then everyone on this board deserves to die.
You deserve to die, by that logic, because you’re skin is a different color than mine, your religion is different than mine, and you’ve made violent threats.

By comparing the Israeli/Palestinian conflict to the treatment of Native American Indians by the Federal Government is the MISTAKE OUR NATION has been making for decades in relation to Israel. It is NOT THE SAME thing!
1. American settlers were NOT reclaiming land that their forefathers possessed for thousands of years.
Report Post »2. Native American Indians did not have a religion that commanded slaughter at every/any opportunity.
3. Native American Indians mostly integrated into the larger American society, and considered themselves a part of the “Great Nation”. This is why American Indians helped us WIN WORLD WAR II.

Pepper gas will disrupt, disable and stop the violent activities of the people that it is used on. Vomit gas will do this and more. The protesters will be to busy pukeing to do any harm.

Will they be the only ones left with enough balls to take care of Iran and the rest of the MidEast if forced to? Think about the size of this little country, yet their strenth and determination exceeds any other country in the world. Amazing and I salute them for sticking up for they rights. Posted on October 16, 2011 at 10:00pmWho Does The Land of Israel Belong To?
An Israeli Sense of Humor at United Nations set the record straight
An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly and made the world community smile
A representative from Israel began: ‘Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses: When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, “What a good opportunity to have a bath!”
Moses removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them!
The Palestinian representative at the UN jumped up furiously and shouted, “What are you talking about? The Palestinians weren’t there then.”
The Israeli representative smiled and said, “And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech.”
