‘Jackasses’: Chris Matthews’ Label for Conservatives Who Suspect President Obama of Socialist Leanings

Sometimes Chris Matthews seems like he’s heckling his own show. This clip from tonight’s “Hardball” show pretty much sums up that phenomenon in a nutshell. After MSNBC guest and Washington Post blogger Chris Cillizza gave a long, somewhat fawning description of former President Bill Clinton’s gift for political tactics, Matthews couldn’t resist getting in a barnyard level dig at Republicans who accuse President Obama of socialist leanings, calling them “Jackasses on the Right.” Watch the clip below:
