Jail Time for Insulting Obama? Student Who Stood Up to Outrageous Teacher Speaks for First Time

Hunter Rogers, Student Threatend by Teacher Over Obama Remarks, Speaks in Fox Interview

Over the weekend, the tape of a North Carolina teacher telling a student he could be put in jail for insulting the president swept the news.

Obtained by a student with his cellphone, it remained a mystery who the student that challenged the teacher was, though many were impressed that he held his own against the teacher, and without losing his temper like she did.

Now, Fox News has tracked down the individual in question, a long-haired boy by the name of Hunter Rogers.

Watch Fox’s interview with the Rogers and his mother, Gina, below:

“[The teacher] always has open discussions about the presidents and candidates, and she doesn’t want to hear anything but what she believes, and if you disagree you get berated and put down, and I just decided to finally get some proof of it,” he explained.

Rogers’ mother remarked: “My biggest concern is that this ‘teacher’ is responsible for teaching my child and hundreds of others, and she is not teaching them factual information.”

The teacher has been suspended with pay, and the the school released a statement: “The Rowan-Salisbury School System expects all students and employees to be respectful in the school environment, and for all teachers to maintain their professionalism in the classroom.  This incident should serve as an education for all teachers to stop and reflect on their interaction with students.”

      Give me a break!…….The teacher has been suspended with pay, and the the school released a statement: “The Rowan-Salisbury School System expects all students and employees to be respectful in the school environment, and for all teachers to maintain their professionalism in the classroom. I CALL BS! A week left of the school year and she gets an early start for vacation. Next year she comes back as hate filled as ever, maybe more so since she got a pass this time. This indoctranation center just gave her their blessings.

      More young people need to be just like this young man and stand up to the brainwashed socialists and communist teachers in this nation. We, and our young people, do not have to tolerate their stupidity and their destruction of the U.S. Constitution.

      That teacher will probably get a call from King Obama letting her know that she is wonderful and that he has a new czar position for her in his kingdom in Washington, D.C. It will be the “Overseer of White Students Who Stand Up For Their Rights And Who Who Hate Obama” czar position.

      It is beyond obvious that many blacks in this nation are being taught and told to cause hate and discontent. Not all, but many.

      Obama and his minions have “shelved” the Constitution and could care less about anything but themselves and communism being forced upon everyone. They are robbing the taxpayers blind with their stupid programs and Obama is handing out money to his Muslim friends abroad and here left and right. What a scam!

      Obama is the worst thing that has EVER happened to this country and he has to go in November or there just may be a civil war in this country. People out here in the Rocky Mountain West have had it with Obama (a piece of grabage with a hidden past) and they will not comply with anymore stupidity from him.

      Oh, and good luck taking the guns from the citizens in this country. Try doing that and see just how bad of an @$$ kicking the corrupt government and United Nations troops get.

      Exactly this is what a SOCIAL STUDIES teacher is teaching students. She has no place in any classroom. But instead of punishment she gets a paid vacation before her summer vacation. It’s effing BS is what it is. If I lived in that county I would not stop the assault until every indoctrinator is out of my district. On another note claasrooms need to have camera installed so that parents can go on line and see what the teachers are teaching their kids. Teachers need to be held accountable for their actions.

      That teacher is living proof that AA injects far too many unqualified people into the system, not only as teacers, but other fields as well.

      It‘s obvious this woman isn’t as bright nor does she posses the emotional maturity of her students.

      Literally tens of thousands of teachers all over the country are reported as having flunked teacher competency tests, which a Google search will prove to anybody who wants to check into it. And the vast, vast majority are affirmative action hires, who have been granted collegeentry via AA, grading viaAA and certification via AA.

      As a university professor admitted a while ago, “We are expected to pass X number of AA entries whether they’re qualified or not, and if we do not we will be called forth to answer for it.”

      Welcome to the new American empire where your worth is determined by whether you are regarded as an entity who has special privileges, over and above everybody else who has to earn what they receive.

      The innernet has ever bit of information that exist on it. Time to end public schools as a whole. Kids can be home schooled at a fraction of the cost of over paying bloated protected teachers union and their benfits packages. Time for the education system to EVOLVE. And allow it to be what is was suppose to be a place of learning and stop what it has become an indoctrination center.       The investigation does NOT need to end at the teacher. The person or persons who interviewed and hired her need to be investigated as well. To hire a woman who can NOT speak proper English (barely decipherable), who is ignorant of the subject for which she is hired to teach and has ZERO classroom management skills or professionalism is abhorrent. HOW this woman ever received teacher licensure in NC needs to be investigated as well. There are obviously no minimum standards required. By these standards, I am qualified to teach quantum physics. I know nothing about it but that is the same thing she knows about social studies, civics, history and the Constitution.

      In the state I’m in (California) it’s against the law to record what goes on in the classroom so this kind of academic bullying is free to go on, and does go. on all the time – WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY.

      I agree. Also, verbal abuse to any student should never be dismissed, and isn’t THAT a form of bullying? Should the “teacher” be allowed to return to the classroom? I say NO!!!!!! Of what benefit to the students could this person be? She is obviously full of venom and that should never be allowed in a classroom. Cudos to that young man for standing up to her, and cudos to his parents for being such wonderful role models. Young Mr. Rogers displayed more maturity with his reaction to her than she did towards him. So, now who is the teacher?!

      I live NC. I’m not sure what has happended to NC. You go to bed one night and wait-up the next day and things are not the same. Who are these people that teach our child and were did they come from? I took my kid out of the public school because of this type of teacher. My kid was in the 8th grade and was failing , until I put in private school.

      I will say this: if VanceUppercut is right about people on this site calling Jessica Ahlquist a whore and wishing her harm, then the people on this site that did it are no better than the people they criticize. I think we all do it, mostly out of emotion sometimes because people are just jerks and sometimes because people come to this site just to make it look bad by posting hateful comments. Whatever the case there’s no room for it.

      I can’t see firing a person and taking away their livelihood over this. I can see demoting her to a teacher’s aide for a year, cutting her pay and having her work with someone that’s qualified to actually teach. Maybe she’ll learn something.

      Marine1 is absolutely correct about people in the Rocky Mountain West ingoring Obama and his treasonous “laws”. My family recently bought a ranch in near a small southern Colorado town. It is currently being set up as a place where our entire family could live if Obama succeeds in destroying America. A windmill for electricity, 2 wells, 4 trailer houses in addition to the real house that is already there, new roads, etc. In doing this we need a lot of permits and inspections as the work is done. I can’t count the number of times the inspectors have said “…but that is an Obama law, and we ignore those here, so you are fine to do that”. The people in this town, even the government officials, do not consider any law or regulation passed by Obama’s administration to be valide and they ignore all of them. We are doing at least a dozen things that Obama claims are illegal now, but the local government says any law he passed is not valid and will not be enforced.

      Marine1 is not exageratting, as far as people in this part of the country are concerned OBAMA IS NOT THE PRESIDENT and has no authority to pass any laws. All laws he does pass are ignored. It’s true, Marine1 is not exagerrating.

      From my point of view, the real focus of incompetence and foolishness is that anyone takes the side of any political candidate or party at all, particularly at the Federal level. All any of know of any of these people are the bits and pieces of handcrafted information, all with the intent of creating and upholding an ‘image’ of who that person is. None of us have the slightest clue about Obama, Romney or any of the other Hitler youth. What we do know about them is glossed over bull crap, some of it glorifying them to the delight of the worshipers of that candidate, and some of it damning, to the delight of the opposition. Rarely is any of it intended to reveal the truth, but rather to change the image and perception in the minds of collective consciousness.
      In short, for anyone to champion or belittle a complete stranger based on what other strangers purport in carefully crafted advertising schemes is a total waste of time and mental energy. The whole system of top down pyramid bureaucracy should be abandoned and scrapped as it is a disconnected system of extortionists and usurpers.

      Hey, shouldn’t that be a major concern of the The Rowan-Salisbury School System? She has obviously been indoctrinating, not teaching. Is she entitled to keep her job? Consider that she may have brainwashed one student…or maybe dozens. If she was my child’s teacher and my child was walking around saying that Obama is a good president, I’d be furious. Can this school system be sued if they retain this so called teacher?

      Exactly what I was thinking. I see this to often, “suspended with pay.” WTH is that? I worked in the construction trades all my life and if there was ever a dispute in thinking you either stayed on the job or you were gone, as in fired! That being without pay!!!

I think their should be cameras in every classroom so parents can really see and hear what is being taught or in this case the student “educating” this Moran who we pay with our tax dollars.     Unfortunately, the printed story never specifies that the teacher is black although it’s not a stretch to infer it from the comments and attitude displayed in the transcript and recording. Had the teacher been white and the roles reversed that fact would have been part of the headline.

    A caveat: many states (NOT NC) make it illegal to record another person without their consent and it‘s certainly not beyond the already demonstrated behavior of BHO’s justice dept to target the messenger as a means to discourage future similar actions.

    There are many stories in which skin color is deemed irrelevant although when the bad actor is non-white the level of perceived irrelevance is heightened, same theory with party affiliation when a Dem gets caught, if party affiliation is mentioned at all it’s buried as much as possible in the story.

    One observation, and it’s across the board for many: if you look like a complete slob who ignores the fact that appearance does in fact mean something, don‘t be surprised when you’re not taken seriously or you get lumped together with the unwashed masses of the uninformed. Short version: Dude, you’re on TV, do you not have a mirror or any clothes suitable for something other than taking out the garbage?

      You could hear it in the cadence, timbre and syntax of the teacher‘s words and voice that she’s black. The comment “not about him you don’t” also is a big giveaway. Yes I’ve just said she sounded black. If I’m proven wrong I will happily eat my humble pie on the blaze. I don’t anticipate being proven wrong.
      As for the boy’s appearance, he’s an ordinary teenager. He’s not appearing in court, he’s not running for office, he’s just an ordinary kid and the length of his hair or his attire are not important. My hair and many of my peers was just as long when I was his age, heck it’s still nearly as long. Rather you should give him credit for having the knowledge beyond the indoctrination of the liberal teaching establishment to confront the teacher with facts and force the liberal goon to unravel before the nation’s eyes and ears.

      Your observations as to the media’s reporting of the race(s) involved in this is correct. As a matter of fact, the Associated Press style guidelines demand that nonwhite races NOT be identified in stories (yes, the A/P supports institutionalized racism.)

      As to the kid’s appearance, I have to agree that had he been my kid, I would have demanded a less sloppy appearance – neat hair, a tucked in shirt, etc. However, had the kid been clean cut, don’t you think the MSM would have jumped all over him as being a right-wing stuffed-shirt nerd? I think there’s a certain amount of justice that this hippie-looking kid has more knowledge of the US Constitution and demonstrated more courtesy and common sense than his “teacher” (I use that term very loosely.)

      And yes, I dream of the day I am punished for infractions at work with paid leave. Believe me, I would do a lot more slacking off if I had that to look forward to.

      The unions own us. We must pay tax to support those teachers. After 2 years they cannot be fired.
      We pay all their benefits and I still hear the people parroting the stupid propaganda – we don’t pay them enough.

      They work from 8AM to 3PM, 9 months a year and have 20+ paid holidays. Half of them don’t even have classes every period.

      Wake up, this is the power of unions.

      The unions own us. We must pay tax to support those teachers. After 2 years they cannot be fired.
      We pay all their benefits and I still hear the people parroting the stupid propaganda – we don’t pay them enough.

      They work from 8AM to 3PM, 9 months a year and have 20+ paid holidays. Half of them don’t even have classes every period.

The story is “poor, poor black folks.” In reality it is just that they have no idea what is really going on, so they reaffirm their identity with their culture of self gratification, and seek support from the very people who have purposely kept them ignorant…it resembles the ‘stockholme ” syndrome. I can see a time coming all too soon under Obama where the least criticism of the govenrment will be a true Federal felony; remember we still have the ‘unlimited detention’ on the books along with the assassination of US Citizens order of Obama.

      I could not have believed a couple of years ago I would look at what you have said and agree. It makes me sad for our country to be in that place. I did not want to believe many things about this president that I do now. I kept asking during the election who was Obama, and now we have all found out the hard way.       Jenny, me too. My 19 yr old son and I were just discussing last night how what would have been called a crazy conspiracy theory 10 yrs ago now seems possible or has already started. We are in for a chaotic time. I’m sad that my children and grandchildren have to live through it.

The second E.O. will be to terminate the E.P.A. , the third will be to terminate the Department of Energy. And so on, Until the offices of government actually reflect what the Constitution entails that the Federal Government is actually authorized to perform. I am committed to this and all hell will ensue, but we will have our nation returned to us. Also I will return all Lands that the Federal Government has claimed as Federal Land. All those lands will be returned to the respective states. And all control given to the states of the peoples property.
