Homeland Security Is Supporting a Gay Pride Celebration & Janet Napolitano Is Getting an Award

On June 7, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is holding a gay-themed event called the June Pride Ceremony. The hour-long gathering, scheduled to take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., will feature DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano as a guest speaker, among others. The purpose of the event is to commemorate June Pride Month, while also marking “a year of significant progress for DHS Pride and for the LGBT community.”

According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) web site, DHS Pride, the group behind the event, is an employee association that represents gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgendered individuals working within DHS’s ranks. The organization seeks to showcase how these individuals work diligently to secure the U.S. Here are some of the goals the group works towards, as per its web site:

  • Identify and address issues particularly affecting Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender employees of the Department.
  • Support and guide the Department in the development and implementation of effective policies and practices for the elimination of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in all Departmental activities.
  • Serve as a resource and point of contact for its members, for those seeking or considering employment with the Department, and for other interested individuals or groups regarding LGBT issues and activities at DHS.

Janet Napolitano to Receive Gay Rights Award at DHS Pride Celebration

Aside from Napolitano, who will receive the DHS Pride Award for Service, Amanda Simpson, special assistant to the Army Acquisition Executive, DOD, will deliver the keynote address. Simpson is the first openly transgendered woman to be appointed to the U.S. government. Following the speeches, there will be a reception.

According to the DHS Pride web site, Napolitano’s award is being given for “her many years of dedicated public service, her unwavering support of DHS personnel, her intense support of a DHS based on unity and inclusion and her support of DHS policies and protections for LGBT personnel.”

This event comes as the Obama administration continues to expand its policies and support for the gay and lesbian community. Last month, the president publicly endorsed same-sex marriage.

After conquering Italy German Chiefs kept Roman law for Roman & German tribal law for tribesmen for a long time. When the Visigoths took Rome they did not loot it like the Vandals generations later. They still had a great deal of respect for Rome.

      The DHS was created to enhance coordination & get rid of duplication. I won’t argue that we could not have done better without. But I would argue that it seemed like a good ideal at the time & that those that voted for it had no sinister motive.

      What really burns me is that people still believe it was an inside job. We let go one of the Muslim conspirators. He ran bootleg cigarettes into NYC. Some of the illegal profits were sent to Hamas. After he was arrested & was going to be reported, all he cared about was the ticket stub of the time he had been on the OBSERVATION DECK of the Empire State building. He knew.

      From the time of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center we had 8 years to save the people who died & the towers. We failed. We failed because so many people have a normalcy bias & so many people are involved in how to cut up the pie.

      @WALKABOUT I was one of the ones who was appalled at thinking that it was an inside job..a friend of mine who is retired from the air force brought me a video last year..I never watched it until a week ago.. The government issued visas to the Muslims involved..they received their training at a naval base in Florida.. Bush was breifed daily for 3 months prior that Ben Laden had ambitions to do this..Norad was practicing war games using different trajectories on the WTC.. Bush was in bed with the Muslims..you can’t deny that..selling our ports to the Arabs..letting them mourn along side us after 9/11..saying they were one of the greatest religions in the world..Said in essence that one doesn’t need Jesus to get to heaven. Many of our banks whose boss is the Federal Reserve are Sharia Compliant..meaning that they send 2.5% to organizations funding terrorism..and pay 7% for any Sharia Law broken..That would suggest to me that terrorists are owned by the Fed…Of course we could argue that there is nothing Federal about the Federal Reserve. But they are in control of us and the rest of the world second in command only to the Vatican.

      What are they proud about? Being mentally ill or freaks of nature?

      Or are they proud of being a group that’s responsible for a preponderance of numerous diseases which they spread throughout their own group that eventually makes their way to the general population?

      Or are they proud of adopting little innocent children and filling their heads with nonsense like allegations they can choose their own gender and that nature has no say in the matter?

      I mean, like the lesbians who adopted a little boy, gave him powerful hormone blockers to inhibit puberty so he could “decide for himself whether he wants to be male or female.” Such abysmal actions by these perverts should result in jail sentences for life for running the kid’s life and placing him constantly on the precipice of insanity.

      Any truth to the rumor that Fat Janet and Valarie Jarrett have something going? All of you know that Michelle is insanely jealous but does not worry about Valarie being so close to Sweet Old Barack. Is there a reason she trusts Valarie and not other females.     Since Napolitano the government employee obviously supports gay marriage does she consider herself the husband or the wife if she proceeds to marry?
    That question applies to ALL same sex married couples too
    If you want to hi-jack our term ‘marriage’ then assume the roles as well.
    Writing ‘domestic partner’ on your IRS returns signifies a civil union not a marriage.

      And, in addition to that, we are in the greatest financial threat the world has ever seen, and as Gerald Celente said, “the global economy is in imminent danger of collapsing and the press and politicians are talking about gay marriage.”

      Janet is lying, conniving politician. She said the border was secure. It is not. Border apprehensions are down. there are 2 or 3 possible variables. That you are measuring a response (border apprehensions) & have more than 1 variable, you would have to say that those variables are confounded. As such she is a POS politician saying that much of the decrease is due to DHS efforts when it a great part of that is due to the recession.

      She also uttered the bold face lie that the border fence was basically complete. It is not.

      I also listen to Michael Medved. His point is that you can;t deport 11 million illegal Mexicans so there will be amnesty. That is arguable. You could. I wouldn’t necessarily want to do so. But I would not to do so with the Border Fence not completed. You are never going to get an air tight border. That would be perfection. We are not going to get that. My number is a few hundred illegal crosser or some number south of 30k.

      If we had Amnesty # 2 without a border fence, then we will have Amnesty #3. Reagan signed Amnesty #1. The Democrat Congress did not live up to their end of the bargain. Surprise! NOT!

      All she is is a person with a J.D. who worked with the Democrats during the Anita Hill/ Clarence Thomas affair. If it hadn‘t been for that the Democrat leadership wouldn’t know here from Jack. From there she went to U.S. Attorney (ty Clinton) to statewide office & then governor.

      Her resume is thin & her world view is bigoted.

      They are already rearing their ugly heads. Obama is said to have been connected at one time to that NAMBLA bunch. I read that in one of those articles where Larry Sinclair’s mama said Obama was involved with her son and a couple more from that Wright church. There is a lot of things being said about when he went to that Wright church. It makes me think that it is not likely a woman would make up this stuff about her deceased son. There was three people connected to Obama and I believe, unless I am mistaken, she said they were dead. This bunch are definitely who I want representing my country. They have embarrassed this country. I do not know if people are that crazy to do all that stuff and run for President or not, but I guess they think it will never come out. Just like that birth certificate thing. Those people out there in Arizona are not fools. They have evidence that is overwhelming. This is beyond awful. I really find it difficult to as say ‘wrap your head around’ all of this stuff. How much worse can all of this get? It is like a bunch crazy people have taken over the asylum sure enough.

      No kidding. I went hunting with my old man as a kid. Learning to hunt was more than gun safety, obeying hunting regulations, marksmanship & maintaining good relationships with land owners. It was learning what not to hunt. If you kick up a rabbit & it doesn’t run or runs poorly, then don’t shoot at it. It often has a disease like tularemia.

      Well Janet is part of the herd & she is spreading bad memes. Bad memes kill just as surely as bad genes.
