Jaw-Dropping Vid: Man Rides Subway by Clinging to Outside of Car

To some, subway surfing may be the unstable act of refusing to touch germ-laden bars when no seats are available, firmly planting feet and assuming the surf position. But to others in a more extreme sect of subway surfers, the act happens outside the train — while hanging onto the car.
Watch this recent New York subway surfer jam to his headphones as onlookers filmed him from the inside. Around 1:30 he is crawling along the train and even holding on with one arm; at 2:58 he lets go (Warning: graphic language):
Is he a “professional?“ Has he ”done this before?” Is he ok?
The New York Daily News reported that subway officials were not as impressed as the riders who watched the show:
“The act shown in this video is both stupid and dangerous. We have referred it to the Transit Bureau of the NYPD for investigation,” MTA spokesman Charles Seaton said Tuesday.

The video doesn’t have a time stamp, but it may have been made Sept. 8 since one gawker is heard mentioning that he’s returning from Fashion Night Out in Soho.
A couple months ago The Blaze reported on subway surfing, also known as “skylarking” since some consider surfing actually standing on top of the train. The New York Metropolitan Transit Authority deems this act illegal and even has an ad campaign against it.

I‘ve read that boy’s brains do not develop a sense of danger until they are 25 or so. That’s why they may engage in erratic behavior. The train should just not start unti he gets inside. Then he’d come in because of the angry passengers.
