Jay Carney Won’t Say Which City Is the Capital of Israel

White House spokesman Jay Carney refused to directly say which city is the capital of Israel during a press briefing Thursday, saying only “our position has not changed.”

“I haven’t had that question in a while,” Carney said with a slight laugh when a reporter asked whether the Obama administration considers Jerusalem or Tel Aviv to be Israel’s capital. “Our position has not changed.”

“What’s the capital?” the reporter repeated.

“You know our position,” Carney said.

The exchange grew somewhat heated when World Net Daily’s Lester Kinsolving interjected, “She doesn’t know, that’s why she asked…she does not know, she just said she doesn’t know — I don’t know!”

Carney still held firm, saying only, “Our position hasn’t changed.”

A state department spokeswoman had a similar exchange with reporters back in March.

Jay Carney – my position has never changed either. God told me years ago in the Bible to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to Bless the Jewish People.

If Obama offered me a Million Dollars to vote for him – I would turn it down. Not enough Money in the World to make me spit in face of God with my vote for Obama, on this one issue alone. The apple of God’s eye is Israel and it does not matter what Obama thinks – God is in Charge!

See most people think there are periods at the end of his sentences – they are commas with the rest of the sentence left unspoken but known those to which he is really speaking.

It also helps if you have the key to progressive code which is – antonyms – whatever is said they opposite is meant.

john Brennan, Obama’s senior National Security Adviser, called Jerusalem “Al Quds,” the name Muslims derisively call it. He also referred to himself as a “citizen of the world” when meeting with Muslim students. One would think that Obama, who claims to have done more than any other President in history to advance the interests of Israel, would recognize it’s capitol. I think this is a question which needs to be asked many many times between now and election day. A good campaign ad would result.

In fact, he went on to say the following:

All i see are American navy ships ready to attack them not far from their country in the Arabian sea, so its clear who the aggressor is. Iran being a threat is the same propaganda as Iraq having weapons on mass destruction and it was banker and corporate war propaganda and thanks to that we have unsustainable deficits that may not even be balanced again.

I‘ve yet to understand why Iran gives a big flying leap about Israel since they are a whole country away and there is nothing in that little slot of land that’s worth the energy to send a missile there.

And in any case – that‘s God’s city (so some believe) if He cannot defend it – there are two things #1 He’s not much of a God and #2 it’s not worth it.

Actually, that is what Ron Paul would have said. Whether you support Paul or not, his position on Israel, and all foriegn governments, is very reasonable. When he was asked about the U.S. embassy remaining in Tel Aviv in spite of the congressional bill that passed calling for it to be moved to Jerusalem, he replied that is was not up the U.S. to tell another soveriegn nation where its capitol was. I could not have said it any better. And yes, this pro-Zionist Jew agrees with Paul that we should eliminate funding for Israel, provided funding for her enemies is also eliminated. The aid comes with too many strings, turns many Americans against Israel, and on balance, benefits Israel’s enemies more than Israel.
