Jersey Shore 2012: Chris Christie Comes Face to Face With Boardwalk Critic

Chris Christie Gets Into Heated Argument On Jersey Shore Boardwalk

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has made his short but notable career as an honest, tough legislator, not afraid of a fight. Video released by TMZ Friday reveals that the governor will step to not only in Trenton, but also on the Jersey Shore’s infamous Seaside Heights boardwalk. TMZ video from Thursday night shows the governor raising the tone of his voice at, and coming face to face with a fellow New Jersey passerby that reportedly “fired off snide comments about Christie’s policy on education.”

“You’re a real big shot” the governor bellows as he approaches the heckler in the video, ice cream cone in hand. “Shut your mouth,” someone possibly in the governor’s entourage is heard saying. “Keep walking away,” the governor says with a hand extended towards the critic.

Governor Christie appeared to shortly shrug off the altercation though, as the video shows him posing for a picture only seconds after the heated standoff.

The potential Republican running mate made similar news last Saturday when he called a reporter an “idiot” for asking an off-topic question during a press conference. During a town hall in March, Governor Christie called a former Navy SEAL an “idiot” and told him to “shut up,” later saying he had “no regrets at all” about the exchange.

I’ve been an independent conservative all my life. The problem with the republican party, beside the mainstream media, is they never back any legislation that would be good for the counry and appeal to the young. Here’s a few ideas: Legalize Marijuana. It’s time to end the prohibition on Maijuana. Legalize it, tax it, and control it. You want to keep it out of the hands of teens? legalize it and move on. Here’s another idea: Go after credit bureaus. make it a crime for credit bureaus to use your credit rating other than borrowing money or certain jobs. Now they use your credit to ,jack up your auto ins., denying a person rent, and God only knows what else. Make college free for anyone who wants it! The govt. and private citizens already take care of grades 1-12, why not the last 4 years? The 4 years that really count! Repeal the ACA and pay for college. Push for term limits on federal judges and congress. Just a few things. I talk on the Huffington Post as well because someone needs to try and talk some since into these people! One day I told some HP commentors that if Mitt Romney wanted to easily defeat Obama, all he would have to do is say he is going to introduce a bill to legalize Marijuana and he would win, well a couple of days later Obama announced he was going to take a new look at the “war on drugs.” Coincidence? Perhaps. But, do you all get the point? The conservatives have to start appealing, not appeasing, but appealing to the younger voters.

the (R) party is stuck in the mud and can’t get anything going in terms of fresh ideas to attract voters young or old. they can’t even pass a budget in the house. as a party the (R)’s are weak and always two steps behind the (D)’s. any attempt to back down the war on drugs would seem like a “me too” at this point. Ron Paul showed us the way. the so-called conservatives chose the RINO.

It was a black man. If a white man had harassed the Governor, the State Police would have punched in his face, TASERED him, and dragged him off to a cell. A black man is allowed to get near the Governor and threaten the whole family. I didn’t know people were allowed near the Governor.

cam2112… “I’ve been an independent conservative all my life.”

Really? REALLY??? All of the examples you cite are from the democRAT/ Socialist playbook. I would say you are a delusional RINO or what ever the term is for a left leaning independent conservative. First, Dope is for stoners and liberals, its a gateway drug, and most users of pot go on to bigger and better. I know, I did.

Second, how do you plan to pay for free college??? Take more of my paycheck to pay for it. You can support more kids going to college for free from YOUR paycheck… if you even have a paycheck.

Third your argument regarding credit buereus is just ignorant. You can tell a lot about a persons life by their credit rating. Do the y honor their commitments. Do they pay on time or late. Do they pay at all. My credit rating is 788. That says a lot about me. Whats yours and what does it say about you???

You want conservative ideas to spur the youth vote?
      1. Lower or eliminate the capital gains tax and explain when wealthy people make more income on investments they make more investments, creating jobs.

      2. Remove penalties for companies doing business overseas to repatriate money, and explain these now companies have more money to invest in America, creating jobs.

      3. Lower corporate taxes dramatically, as the US has the highest tax rate in the world, and explain that lowering taxes on business makes the US more competitive and brings jobs to the US rather than India or China.

How about showing statistal data… I know its hard to wrap your head around being a true liberal posting as a conservative, BUT… Ronal Regal had 700,000 plus jobs a month being created in far less time using Reagonomics than this joker. This Joker is not even creating enough jobs to keep up with the yourh entering the work force. Now he has added 1 Million illegal aliens to compete for those jobs. Explain that 1/2 of all new college grads do not have a job. Eplain that they are now copeting for low skills jobs with 1 million new amnesty illegal aliens. If the youth want a job, vote Republican. Are they better off moving back home to live in Moms basement or working for thier own success???

Do they want four more years of a failing economy, or a President who has shown to be able to turn companies from bankruptcy to success??? A president who has turned the Olympics from bankruptcy into a success??? A President who has worked in the private sector or a resident who has been at war with the private sector? If they want a President who follows laws and the Constitution or who violates laws and the Constitution? A president who creates jobs or kills jobs? A President who includes ALL AMERICANS, or a resident that ALIENATES ALL AMERICANS? A president that will ensure cheap abundant energy or a resident that will bankrupt you filling up your gas tank, turning on your heater or your AC?

Ask the youth… Do they want a President that believes in freedom & liberty or a resident that believes he can FORCE them to buy healthcare whether they want it or not. That can FORCE them to buy a battery powered car or not. That can FORCE them to buy a gun to protect themselves or not. That can FORCE them to exercise for an hour a day or not. That can FORCE them to pay a fat tax if the do not meet BMI standards at their FORCED annual health screening or not. Do they want a President who believes in personal responsibility or a resident that has the JACK BOOT of government on their throats to force them to do what they do not want to do.

Tell the youth… Remember this day, when you still had a taste of freedom, a roof over your head, a soft bed to sleep in, food in your stomach… because daily, your freedoms & opportunity are being striped from you by this administration & the democRAT/socialists in power. The only thing is you wont know it until its too late because the laws they are passing dont kick in for four more years. By then youll be out of work, homeless and hungry.

Tell them about the founders who believed everyman should be free to succeed or fail. To be better from hard work or fail through being lazy. They had the right to choose. The Dept of free is broke, theres no more money. Ask them to look at Greece. Is that what they would vote to become? Would they vote for another 4 years of failure. The dems cant keep the promises their making, were broke.

I say that we should ween our selfs off public schools and stop giving out government loans for college that would truly help out in the long run.

Independent conservative? That’s an interesting characterization, I must say. Try these alternative suggestions:
      1. Decriminalize all drugs. Do not tax them. Do not regulate them. (Conservatives want to give the government more power?) If abortion is Constitutional based on the “my body is my body” logic, then why isn’t the ingestion of any substance treated in the same manner?
      2. Let Credit Bureaus do what Credit Bureaus do. Assess and report ones credit worthiness. If you do a poor job of handling your financial affairs then you will suffer the consequences. If those that have bad credit don‘t pay the penalty then it will be spread out over the entire population and those that do a good job of handling their financial life will have to pay for the mistakes of those that don’t. (I’m guessing you have credit problems, Cam).
      3. Abolish all federally underwritten student loans. If you want to go to college then you have to either get a private loan, work, or ask you family to finance you. Why should the government steal additional monies from hard working citizens to pay for anyone to go to school? You can also avail yourself to the thousands of grants and scholarships that are available.
      4. Repeal the ACA, but not to finance anything else. Repeal it because it’s bad legislation.
      5. Abolish the Dept. of Ed.

Bona Fides; I’m not a conservative. I’m a libertarian. But I absolutely fail to see how any of your ideas could be called independently

If life were that simple. Not everyone who wants to go to college should do so. I think that what we need are trade school for our high school level students. welders, plumbers, carpenters, hair stylists, ect. Many kids drop out of high school because they are bored, and would rather learn a trade. If only we all would……., great and noble words indeed, now if only we good get everyone to agree on anything. As a man once said. Can’t we all get along? Nah not in this lifetime, hopefully in the next.

Beyond that, he shouldn’t be leaving New Jersey. He is no friend to the 2nd Amendment. He’s a global warming alarmist of the anthropogenic kind. He’s weak on immigration.
