Jesse Jackson Jr: Obama Has Fought NRA ‘Every Step of the Way’

President Obama’s election troubles just got a little more complicated. Now his own allies are running ads that can alienate people…and they’re ads that are meant to make him out to be the good guy! In this case, the troublemaker is an ad running in Illinois for a redistricting race that pits Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. against Rep. Debbie Halvorson. The ad specifically praises Obama for fighting pro-gun groups like the NRA “every step of the way” and attacks Halvorson for siding with the Republicans. Watch below:

The ad features an African American woman speaking to the camera and accusing Rep. Halvorson of being complicit in the death of her son (who was shot) because she voted against unidentified gun control laws. She ends with the line, “Please don’t let my son die in vain.”

      Ever wonder why nearly ALL of the black leadership is against the second amendment?

      They know black crime is out of control, especially in the urban areas, and they also know that the black population has a propensity for unchecked violence. That’s why they orginally banned guns from D.C. and tried to in other black run/black dominated cities. A New Orleans councilman even requested that the governor call in the national guard to patrol the streets.

      White liberals want the right to bear arms nullified, because they know invoking their policies and laws could very likely prompt an armed response against them, because their entire radical leftist agenda requires totalitarian control, and there’s no way the police and National Guard can control an armed, overwhelming force if martial law is ever invoked.

      Boo Hoo Jr. in fact I bought a bersa 380 last month and now I’m going to get Ruger .40 or a S&W 40
      The S&W is all poly carb and real light so I can carry the Ruger lower half is just poly and a little heavier, but not by much.

      I will decide by Monday and buy one.

      A guy that wns a gun shop near me, built a building to house his HVAC compamy;s office and warehouse. That enterprise WAS doing so well, he partitioned off10% of the building and ddicated it to his hobby, guns and gunsmithing, thjat was in 2006, the proportion is now reversed.

      It’s proven, the cities who outlaw guns have more gun deaths than cities who allow concealed carry for personal protection against the thugs.       The gun owner has no fear of losing business. Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich have all supported gun restriction laws for our own good. The clones are so bad, there is practically no shot at all of them beating Obama so the second term is coming.

      I also believe that Obama is going to really attack the 2nd Amendment second term to possibly allow him to turn into our Putin during the civil unrest coming.

      Our founding fathers lived part of their lives under the rule of England and under the thumb of their well equipped army. But they chose to armed themselves and rose up to will liberty. They were the militia of our young country and, via the second amendment to the Constitution, they passed along to us the ability of remaining a strong militia.
      Thus those who would like to rule our citizens with an iron fist always attack this amendment so that the militia would exist no more, and they would have their way. This pressure will never cease. But I will say that, thanks to the NRA and others, we will never give on this vital right.

      We, the militia of this great Republic, will defend our liberty to the death just as our ancestors did!

      @ Texan, if I recall my history correctly, the Revolutionary War started because the British troops seized the arms and munitions from the towns of Lexington and Concord. Even before we had it in writing, the people of this nation knew their rights and defended themselves from a tyrannous government that sent their own military to dominate them.

      Personally, I think that we should disban the ATF and then burn the building to the ground and memorialize it as a warning to future generations about the dangers of gov’t control.

      Guns are not strictly for hunting. The 2nd amendment was meant to give the populace weapons to fight their own government when it became tyrannical. All the laws the communists/demos have passed in Congress over the years to limit gun ownership and to make people jump through hoops to own a gun are unconstitutional. The 2nd amendment cannot be ‘abridged’ yet…every year we allow these traitors to do so. Hold onto your guns and your gunrights. You will need those guns soon.

    I’ll tell you how it happened. You most likely live in one of the many gang infested armpits of Chicago where only bad guys have guns. Yeah, bad guys don’t care about gun laws along with the other laws. Now since Illinois is the last state left to allow some type of CCW and your son got killed anyway, you should be for the good guys be able to carry.

    If a criminal thinks you might be armed, it’s a deterrent. If they know you are unarmed, you must be in Illinois.

      I am an NRA lifetime member and yes the NRA has done some good/great things for gun owners; however, I have some major problems with the NRA. I called them repeatedly before the 2010 elections and complained that they were supporting too many democrats, such as Harry Reid. They told me they were strictly a 2nd Amendment organization, like I didn’t know; however, as I explained to them, there would be no 2nd Amendment if they kept supporting the democrats they were supporting. They, in many cases didn’t support anyone in certain cases due to so many people calling and complaining as did I; even though there were some really good people running for office that didn’t agree with anything Obama was doing, as do I. NRA calls me all the time wanting me to contribute to this or that cause. Normally I would but like I told them, “you can throw your support behind whomever, but don’t expect me to throw my money behind you.” There are other organizations that feel as I do towards liberals/democrats. Gun Owners of America is a really good organization. Also, National Association for Gun Rights is who I am fixing to join with and send my money. The NRA was great when Charlton Heston was President. I’m not saying, I’m just saying.

    Their sons don’t die in vain; they died in a self inflicted culture that has ensured rare escape. That takes no conscience.

    Gun control is a full clip well grouped into any mortal threat rather than become a victim. That takes practice.

    Gun crime is the government punishing the innocent for the evil perpetrated by the guilty. That takes absolute authority not granted and should be considered a mortal threat.

    You either shape your culture like you own it and cherish it, or it will surely own you and your offspring!

      As I read these comments, the one thing most of us are missing is what a 2nd term for Dictator Obama will do to the Supreme Court. If he wins again, expect two-maybe three new supreme court justices and they will be more radical than the ones he has already put in there. I am not now, nor was I ever a fan of either Bush; however, I do like the justices “W” put on the Supreme Court. My first option is and always will be prayer, at least I pray it will be; however my second option will be my Larue OBR 5.56; my Mossberg Tactical, and my Springfield Armory XD45, XDm40, and my XD40 subcompact.

The NRA, when last I heard, was about 6 million strong, so Mr. Obama’s ally has just hacked off about 6 million voters, and believe you me, NRA members get out and vote. Just keep on beatin’ that drum, Mr. Jackson, and 6 million of us will be marching to the beat, though I doubt you‘ll like the direction we’re marching, namely, to the polls, to vote Obama out of office.

    Not surprising, however it is unlikely that this will alienate anyone from voting for Obama, they made their minds up long ago & pesky facts like this one won’t get in the way.

    On a side note, I enjoy the way this woman describes the situation, simply because I’ve never seen a gun rampage through town or deliberately find & shoot anyone without a person attached to the other end… but I‘d assume that implying responsibility for one’s actions counts as hate speech nowadays.

    Why don’t they ever understand? You can pass all of the gun control laws that you want and criminals will still find a way to get them.       Let me help you ‘splain this. The hyphenated politicians want the vast majority of privately owned firearms confiscated. A person with a gun is a citizen- a person without a gun is a subject.

    On December 26, 1933, 49 Statute 3097, Treaty Series 881, “Convention on Rights
    and Duties of States”, CONGRESS replaced STATUTES with international law, placing
    all states under international law.
    On December 9, 1945, International Organization Immunities Act relinquished every
    public office of the United States to the United Nations.
    22 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 92.12-92.31 FR Heading “Foreign
    Relationship” states that oath is required to take office.
    Title 8 USC 1481 states, once oath of office is taken citizenship is relinquished, thus
    the oath taker becomes a foreign entity, agency, or state. That means every public office
    is a foreign state, even all political subdivisions; i.e., every single court is considered a
    separate foreign entity.
    Title 22 USC, “Foreign Relations and Intercourse”, Chapter 11 identifies all public
    officials as foreign agents.

      So, we could resist any and all rulings from official entities, and according to the constitution, and bill of rights, we would be without lawful obligation to follow any law written after 1933?
