Jessie Jackson to Keith Olbermann: Occupy Wall Street an ‘Extension of Dr. King‘s Action’

Jessie Jackson to Keith Olbermann: Occupy Wall Street an Extension of Dr. Kings Action

Rainbow PUSH Coalition founder Rev. Jesse Jackson appeared on Keith Olbermann’s Countdown Thursday evening to share, among other things, why he thinks the Occupy Wall Street movement is an “extension” of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s civil rights activism. For Jackson, OWS and the Civil Rights Movement are connected.

“The occupation movement started in 1968 after Dr. King was killed, so this really is an extension of Dr. King’s action.” He goes on to call for the movement to “mature into political power.”

Unlike 99% of these kids crapping on police cars, smoking dope, having public sex and running around naked just to name a few I remember MLK’s march. My parents used to talk about it at the dinner table and watch it on TV. I dont recall seeing Nazi’s, Islamists, Communists, Socialists, Long haired hippie type bums, Ron Paul supporters, Code Pink Anti American zealots, Union thugs or Anarchists wanting to burn down the system. I saw Black men and women fighting for equality and respect.

I could be wrong. I mean after all JJ was there. Maybe Walter Cronkite had it all wrong

Dr. King had more class in his ring finger than Jackson or Sharpton. He wouldn’t be down with these clowns in OWC because he actually believed that while there were problems to overcome and problems to be solved, you had to have personal responsibility and accountability to change things.

How about the black panthers.. I am sure he would be pleased with them also.. You sir are nothing like MLK.. never will be.. you and Sharpton are both on the road to hell!

This is just absurd. To Jackson I would say this “have you no shame”, doubt he would care and probably say I am racist for being in disagreement. The left is constantly invoking MLK or JC(Jesus Christ) to justify this plastic grass doormat movement completely organized by the radical left. The movement is void because it is backed by unions, Soros, MSM, socialists, marxists, communists, anarchists progressives. All of which I am sure MLK and JC would be warning us all to stay away from. From the surface the movement is something you can understand and agree with but it stops there the moment we see who is behind the scenes and the crazy talk. MLK was a republican if I understand it correctly who was about judging people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. I dont think he would be fond of the promiscuous sex, littering and graffiti to name a few going on. Jesus was never about taking from one to give to another, he wanted us to do it via our heart not under threat of a dictator. “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”.

The foreclosures, unemployment etc he points out btw are a result of Emperor Obamas policies. he is the captain of the ship he is the CEO its all on him. So why Rev. are you not getting these drones out of NYC and marching them down to the White House, Capitol and Fed to protest DC whose policies have a direct impact on our economic state?
