Jets Coaches ‘Flagged’ for Throwing Passes at ‘Hot Reporter’

Jets Coaches Flagged for Throwing Passes at Hot ReporterTv Axteca reporter Ines Sainz calls herself “the hottest sports reporter in Mexico.” She’s not stranger to getting attention. What happened at New York Jets practice session over the weekend, however, may have crossed a line.

AP:

A reporter for a Mexican TV network says on her Twitter account she felt “very uncomfortable!” at a Jets practice Saturday where a coach appeared to throw footballs in her direction and players called out to her in the locker room.

TV reporter Ines Sainz tweeted in Spanish that she felt “very uncomfortable!“ and that she was in the Jets locker room waiting to interview quarterback Mark Sanchez while trying ”not to look anywhere!!”

The NFL and the Jets are looking into the way players and coaches treated her during her visit to the team’s practice.

The New York Post updates with her Tweet from today:

“Thanks everyone for your support. I already spoke to the NFL, which will decide if there will or will not be consequences. I can say that at the time I didn’t want to pay attention to what was happening but the rest of the media heard clearly and in solidarity have denounced what happened, hoping that there is always a respectful climate.”

Bloomberg has the statement from Jets owner Woody Johnson:

“The New York Jets believe that reporters have a job to do and it is our obligation to provide them with proper and professional access,” the Jets said in an e-mailed statement. “(Johnson) stressed to Ines that he expects all members of the Jets organization to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. We will continue to work with the league to gather the facts and take any appropriate steps necessary to maintain a respectful environment for the media.”

Update: Late today Sainz talked to CNN:

What‘s with op’s photo? Is she holding a tape measure?! I’m rusty on my lip-reading, but I think it’s something like:

    Miss Hottness: “Que grande?”
Jock: “Yeah, it’s about that long.”

Was she wearing a professional outfit? Did she look the part of a news reporter? Or did she just look like a hot-ass latina wearing tight pants and a low-cut, skimpy top?

      LOL, Good one Feisty!
Men should just stop acting like men and pigs! Women should never be looked at the way men do… They should have the emotional and hormonal level the same when they look at a pencil, or a paper clip… They should have the same self control that women have when it comes to Chocholate, a new born baby, or wedding plans! No emotions or excited feeling, just a blank stare…LOL

Familiar with the gesture ‘I gotch ya post-game comment right here’ (crotch grab optional)? Seniorita Queenie sports reporter – offended by pro locker room hijinx? Clearly – some things are just a bad idea – including gal-‘porters in men’s locker rooms – proven every week. This crumb muffin needs to get real/grow a set and take it like a man – and get into the schwing of things – or stick to tamer settings and interviews. Poor dear. No sympathy here for collosal stupidity!

Maybe if she took off her clothes she would have been more at home. Actually that should be a rule in general for all reporters. If someone comes into a lockeroom to hang out/oooppppssss. Well…they should do like the Romans do… Now I would be more uncomfortable if I knew the reporter was gay, compared to a woman…I’ll get slapped for that one. But that’s my right to feel that way until Pelosi, or Kagen put me in jail for that thought…Sniff sniff….

Well this answers the age old question. Women now days obviously prefer lots of money over flattery. If any guy went into a locker room full of women showering and changing, and the women were acting the same way, the guy would blush and take it as a compliment. This so called reporter is just looking for a big pay day. Mark my word, give it a week and we will hear news of the impending lawsuit.

I agree, a woman has no place in a men’s locker room and if she chooses to go in she sets herself up. In fact, I‘m sick and tired of women in men’s sports, period. Let them commentate their own sports! 8 out of 10 times they ask the dumbest questions…..

Sorry, it’s just me, but I have no patience with women in the NFL locker rooms. It’s so stupid. What do they expect? Why do they feel they can go into the innter sanctum of men and expect anything different. “Oh, I’m going to invade your space and I expect you to stand naked in front of me while I interview you and you are to act civil.” Sorry. Trying to shower and dress with women in the room isn’t civil to begin with! I don’t condone bad behavior on the part of the players, but I also don’t condone women in the locker room. It’s just stupid! It’s just stupid!

I thought they already did bar the media from locker rooms, from the 1990′s on. Plus, “Ines Sainz calls herself “the hottest sports reporter in Mexico.” Seriously, she puts herself out there like that and then acts surprised?? Bull. She enjoyed it and is making a fuss just because she likes to stir the pot.

I think it is stupid that she “had” to be in their locker room in the first place. Really, what is a woman doing in a man’s locker room? Just because she is a reporter doesn’t give her the right to go where ever she wants. It’s not like after a WNBA game, or a woman’s Volleyball game, they are going to allow a male reporter in the woman’s locker room just because there is a story there; it’s all backwards. I agree that the players were out of line with their actions, however, if you play with the pigs, you are bound to get mud on you.

As a female, I don’t really feel bad for this reporter. I will not take a female sports reporter
seriously if she‘s wearing a lot of make up and she’s dressed in a low cut top, fake breasts, ect.
She knew what she doing- she just wants attention. If she didn’t, she would not have up that nickname! If you want to be respected girlie, then you need to act accordingly.
