Jihadist Issues Christmas Warning: We Will ‘Turn Your Blood Into Rivers’

The jihad-monitoring group SITE has released a translation of a jihadist warning that countries celebrating Christmas will be bombed this year and suffer major casualties. The threat was issued in a videotaped message.
The recording, titled “The Zero Hour has arrived” and directed to “the unbeliever and Christian countries celebrating Christmas,” lasts one minute, three seconds and bears the voice of a member of the Shumukh al-Islam forum, said the US-based monitor.
The speaker, according to SITE, said that failure to heed warnings to cease bloodshed in Muslim countries would result in attacks.
“Your (Christmas) fireworks will act as an alarm for the time of our devices to blow up — devices that we, not Santa Claus, are going to offer to you as gifts, to turn your night into day and your blood into rivers,” he said in a translation provided by SITE.
The threat, coming from a single individual on a forum reportedly linked to the Al-Qaeda network, is reminiscent of last year’s failed Christmas bombing of a US airliner by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who wore explosives stitched to his underwear, in a plot attributed to Al-Qaeda.
It also comes amid Nigeria’s warning that Al-Qaeda-linked militants were likely planning attacks during the Christmas holiday, and the accidental death of a suicide bomber in Stockholm two weeks ago who apparently intended to kill Christmas shoppers.

There is no one who would take the responsibility inherent with that decision. We must learn to beat them at their own game. It seems they sit back and make idle threats and we react with useless rhetoric and reactions which cost us taxpayers a great deal of stress and money. I’m sure they get a big collective kick out of us spinning our wheels and spending our money for nothing. We don’t need to mirror the Muslims by killing in the name of Christ. True Christians don’t wish for the death of unbelievers. We pray for our enemies, knowing the condemnation that awaits them. True faith in Christ doesn’t produce the belligerent attitude that so many show. We await the end of the story for the final truth to be revealed. The wheels of God grind slowly but they grind exceedingly fine.
For those so eager to see dead Muslims you have proposed a very good alternative. Pack up and head over to your Muslim nation of choice and start in. Then you’ll be just like them. On valid point the Muslims continually make is our killing of their people. Why are we involved in two separate wars over there? To protect our freedom? Really, with a porous southern border? Look beyond the emotion and start asking some valid questions about our military involvement around the world.
As for the threats, they aren’t the ones to be concerned about. The real threats are from those who say nothing but act. These are just smoke screens for the real thing. It‘s probably coming soon but it won’t be these kinds of buffoons doing it.

Does anyone else find it interesting that Obie has not been seen, by anyone, since all that bombing in the mountains of Afghanistan, back at the beginning of that war? 7-8 years and not a single sighting! It only took a few months to find Saddam hiding in his spider hole. But the elusive Obie does keep us in a state of terror with his occasional voice rendering of his God impressions. (The CIA always verifies it was in fact Obie!!)
Oh well, another threat form those peace loving, small percentage, Muslims. This whole thing has reached the ridicules point where any new mention of new hiding place for a bomb turns the TSA in a new frenzy. All the peace lovers need to do now, is sit in their caves (probably still in their PJs) and think up new hiding places for their toys, and they will collapse our economy, if Big Sis has her way. I would hope everyone else would behave a little more honorably in this regard as well. It’s one thing to disagree and discuss the issue; quite another to resort to personal attacks. I’ve noticed this sort of amateurish vitriol on the liberal forums and was hoping to find something of more substance here. I know personally, I served with 101st Airborne and was an 11BB4. I have also been all of this world serving my country and I am very proud of that.

If they want to fight all Muslims, why are they not taking to the streets as the bible commands you? Are they not courageous enough to answer the call of the their Lord and start smiting the Muslims? I know Christians don‘t take the Old Testament to heart as the Catholics do but it’s still part of your religion. What some of you don’t understand that if Christians were as “true” believers of their faith as the Muslims were, they’d be out there killing everyone too.
Is nation building in Afghanistan actually helping us stay safe from terrorist attacks? Will sacrificing our liberties provide us with any real level of security? That’s the question I want Blazers to face.

Unless you were a 30 year old recruit you entered the military the same time most other infantrymen did 18-24 yrs old (approx) . So just how much real life experience do you really have? The one who commits such an act, has indeed committed an ugly and repulsive deed. Any Muslim who congratulates a person for a sin, an innovation or an act of disbelief has exposed himself to the wrath and anger of Almighty Allaah. Finally, if they (non-Muslims) congratulate us for our feasts, we do not congratulate them for their feast as we are on the right path and they are in error. Allaah Says (what means): {And whoever desires other than Islam as religion-never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.}[Quran 3:85]. Allaah Knows best.

For the record I do have muslum friends who love America and her freedoms, who fight in the armed forces against the Jihadist lunatics (their words) in the Afghan mountains, and also I have an uncle who is a fanatic muslum as well (for what he did to me in my youth I almost did kill him; and no I have no regrets over it, other than not castrating him).
I understand first hand both sides of the equation; and as a Christian Chaplain, I also have suffered the fanatics hatered against me and my ideals, both muslum and christian extremists. Many of the muslum and christians have been brothers to me as well, disagreeing on some ideals, yet working for peace where possible.
And I still say nuke the terrorists when possible; teach them what real force means.

I am proud that I served my country. I didn’t join to get college money. I joined because I knew I had to do my part. I couldn’t sit around while the rest of my peers fought a war. I was a small business owner and decided to sell that business and join. I did what I did in the belief that I was defending freedom. I realized I wasn’t. I also realized a lot of things as far as our Government and it’s domestic/foreign policy. I still stand proud that I stood up and said “Yes, I will go to war!” while so many others didn’t have the courage to.

After he got there, from his experience on the ground, said the war has nothing to do with protecting America. Instead of the VERY FIRST POST calling him a coward, there should have been questions why he feels this way. Could have been pretty insightful. Seems to me he was more angry at you armchair ******** saying what you would do, blah blah blah instead of actually DOING something.
I served in the Marine Corps from ‘92-’98, where absolutely NOTHING happened. Because of this, I went to Iraq as a contractor in ‘05 QWHERE NOTHING HAPPENED. Do these two facts make me a coward because i was not tested, or was I still in harms way, and there “just in case”?
How about you stop hating on things you know nothing about and be AMERICANS, brothers and sisters in what will soon be a war fought on American soil.

No, I am not a truther to the extent that I believe in elaborate conspiracies. I do believe the Government in some way, shape or form was responsible, at a minimum a flawed foreign policy at the maximum wanting to have a crisis and an excuse to start a war.

@FIREDUDE I am proud that I served my country. I am proud that I stood up and answered the call to serve while many others wouldn’t. I am not proud at what our Federal Government has been doing both domestically and abroad, whether it’s economic policies or war doctrine. I believe we had to do something after 9/11 but at this point what are we doing in Afghanistan and Iraq? Especially when our economic future and future as a country is at stake, we cannot afford to support this Empire we’ve build over our beloved Republic.
@REELAMERICAN Thanks for making assumptions as to why I joined, I believe I already covered my reasons. In case you didn’t, no I didn’t need a paycheck. I was a successful small business owner with clients from China to the UK and everything in between. I was living a nice comfy life, just like most of you here have. I decided to sacrifice those luxuries for my country. The country I thought we had turned out not to be the country I wanted to fight for and a lot of you in here crystallized that notion.
Surprisingly, I am not in the minority. I am very vocal about my beliefs to everyone up and down my chain of command. I welcome reprimand for my beliefs but no one is willing to stand up against me.
Yes, you could get on a plain plane and start this war with them if you wanted to. None of you have the courage to do it.

This Muslim Jihadist is targeting Christians. If you feel you are being targeted it is not because you are an American, it’s because you are a Christian. So yes, this is a problem between YOUR religion and HIS religion – it does not involve America, the American people, or the American military.
