Jim DeMint Tells ‘Real News’ Panel He Is ‘Glad We Dispelled the Myth’ That ‘Tea Partiers Won’t Support Romney’

S.E. Cupp and the Blaze panel sat down with Senator Jim DeMint during Thursday’s “Real News From The Blaze” to discuss the 2012 election, particularly Romney’s success with Tea Partiers in the Florida Primary. Of Romney, DeMint said, “he showed that he could stand tough” in Florida and “that’s what made the difference in my mind.”
“I‘m glad we dispelled this myth that Tea Partiers won’t support Romney.”
When asked if he thinks the Tea Party’s credibility will be tested this election, DeMint suggested that there is no one candidate that fits the Tea Party because the Tea Party comprises so many different small groups around the country — from Libertarians to disaffected Democrats to conservatives and Independents.

Posted on February 1, 2012 at 11:49pmI hope all you Newbies to Political Observation and Activism are getting this. Just because you “discovered” and thought you “learned” from Glenn Beck in the past couple years, doesn’t mean that ANYTHING has changed in our Federal Electoral process – technically or ideologically. You only THINK that your voice and attendance at rallies matters. You’ve been lied to and deceived. Sorry to be the one to break it to you. (Actually, I’m not sorry one bit.) Your voice is meaningless. Deal with it (or don’t, no one cares).

good stuff….
The truth has no agenda…. Soros says Romney and Obama are the same thing but Glenn doesn’t report that.. If Soros said he wanted Gingrich to be president and he would be the same as Obama, Glenn’s head would pop off, Pat would tear off his shirt and Stu would poop his pants and rub it on his face.
Soros Endorses Gingrich would be the Headlines for the next 6 months….. Glenn would release 5 new books and a new Line of Clothes 1/31/2012 the Date that the article came out.

What is so downright sad to watch is s’nnelG transformation from a guy who was all about the founders and the Bill of Rights, to a guy who forgets everything he stood for.
Have you noticed how nnelG never personally calls out the candidates on their views of the NDAA and the Patriot Act?
Remember when nnelG used to call Ron Paul the most Constitutional guy in congress?

“The Collective has triumphed over the Individual in America. Unlike Glenn Beck, I’m, not going to exploit that fact for personal gain.”
I very much agree that the Collective has triumphed over the Individual in America, but I inadvertently pasted the subsequent sentence with it. This definitely suggests that I agree with the accusation made.
I apologize for this, as it is not my view that Glenn’s reporting on the assault on our liberties can even be exploitative. Making money the way Glenn does is legitimate.
Nobody is entitled to knowledge, and if someone wants to make money by providing it, there’s nothing wrong with that. We can try and find such knowledge elsewhere, if we want, but we come here, to The Blaze, knowing that it will make Glenn money. It’s a voluntary exchange – nothing to be complaining about.

To top this all off he failed in some of our most important duties as citizens of this nation, he failed as a husband, he failed as a father, and then failed and resigned as a politician. They’ve been in existence for barely four years and they think they deserve the Presidency already. After just two years they wanted the Senate, and lost their shirts. They learned nothing. It’s ridiculous. They don’t have the candidates yet. It takes time to develop them. Tea Partiers can‘t just throw amateurs like Christine O’Donnell out there, slap a Tea Party sticker on their lapel and expect them to win. And they can’t let retreaded Progressives like Newt Gingrich co-opt the Tea Party message and use it as his own to get elected. The GOP needs to win this time, not just make a meaningless point. The stakes are too high to let immature fools hand us another four years of Barack Obama. Look in the mirror and repeat after me . . . For myself I still support the tea party but do not fall in line with Republican, Dem., etc. Yes, I am a conservative and prefer Santorum but believe this if iI am alive on election day I will vote for the candidate chosen. I always vote.”God is giving us the answers and they do not listen?” Please give scripture..chapter verse version…That would be like me praying for football, you bet. If you know the answer then I could place a bet except I don’t wager. Romney is a capitalist..Gingrich is a Progressive and family values he isn’t (in my opinion). Tea Party will be very influential in the HoR and Senate again (no fluke).

Posted on February 1, 2012 at 10:23pmWith Romney and Gingrich at the top so far,I‘m doubting if there ever was such a thing as a modern ’Tea Party’. 2010 and taking the House may have been a fluke.Neither of these pretenders will get my $support$.
*Rick Santorum* GO!

Posted on February 1, 2012 at 10:10pmSorry, but Jim Demint is just another self-serving, big government politician. Don’t be fooled, just because he calls himself a Republican and a Tea Party supporter.
