Joe Biden Hears Boos at Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The White House got in its fair share of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations Saturday. Between President Barack Obama taking time to down a Guinness in Washington D.C. and Vice President Joe Biden participating in Pittsburgh’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, the reelection campaign may be aiming to mend fences with the enormous demographic of Americans who report Irish ancestry. If Biden’s reception during portions of the parade serve as a barometer of how the administration will do in the key swing state this November, President Obama may need the luck of the Irish to get four more years in the White House.

Seen waiving and jogging gingerly on the parade route, Vice President Biden’s entourage was loudly booed at points by some of the hundreds of thousands who turned out for the parade in Pittsburgh Saturday. WPXI reports that Biden spent part of his trip campaigning ahead of November’s election and part of his time enjoying himself.

      Obama needs to mend fences with the Irish? That’s a news flash. I haven’t hear that President Obama somehow lost support of the Irish. I think somebody made that up.

      I too deal with people throughout the day, customers from across the country, and hear much the same from any of them who offer any sort of commentary regarding fuel prices, other daily costs, and the job market. Many people are still really hurting, or having to cut back their spending significantly. Any one of them who offers up a comment all seems to cite one source for their hardship — this regime and their anti-American, anti- business administration and their extreme left policies.
      I’ve not had one person really cite the previous administration and their policies, nor the banking community either. They all are sure to cite our dear leader and his political supporters like the OWS crowd and his hollowood celebrity no-nothing base.

      Hopefully this is more reflective of our population, though I doubt I hear from many of his supporters as our customers are more likely employed or retired versus being welfare leeches.

      Excellent observation GOLDI. Perhaps people need to become more aware of the fact that all the taxes put on energy could be reduced if we only got rid of these sorts of wastes in government. Now, people actually think that their healthcare is going to become cheaper and improved with the governments minions administering it. If they haven’t noticed the increases yet, wait until they can’t get services when crucially needed or are outright denied.

    Then Congress said, “We have had this command in operation for one year and we are $918,000 over budget, we must cut back.” So they laid-off the night watchman.
