John Kerry: Climate Change ‘As Dangerous’ As a Nuclear Iran

Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) declared earlier this week that climate change “is as dangerous” as the possibility of a nuclear Iran.
Speaking on the Senate floor Wednesday in what was billed as a “major address and current assessment of the global climate change challenge,“ the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee called skeptics members of a ”flat earth caucus“ and part of a ”concerted assault on reason.”
“I believe that the situation that we face, Mr. President, is as dangerous as any of the sort of real crises that we talk about,” Kerry said. “Today we had a hearing in the Foreign Relations Committee on the subject of Syria, and we all know what’s happening with respect to Iran, and nuclear weapons and the possibility even of a war.”
He continued, “Well, this issue actually is of as significant a level of importance, because it affects life itself on the planet. Because it affects ecosystems on which the oceans and the land depend for the relationship of the warmth of our earth and the amount of moisture that there is and all of the interactions that occur as a consequence of our climate.”
While not going after any of his colleagues by name, Kerry said there are “a bunch of people – some of them in the United States Congress itself“ who deny climate change ”against all the science” in part because of a disinformation campaign to paint it as outside the mainstream.
“Climate change, over the last few years, has regrettably lost credibility in the eyes and ears of the American people, because of a concerted campaign of disinformation — a concerted campaign to brand the concept as somehow slightly out of the mainstream of American political thinking,” Kerry said.
He added, “We have in effect, with respect to climate change in America today, what is fundamentally a flat-earth caucus, a bunch of people – some of them in the United States Congress itself – who still argue, against all the science, all the evidence, they argue that somehow we don’t know enough about climate change, or they argue that the evidence isn’t sufficient, or they argue that it just is a hoax.”

So when NASA says that the “climate change” models greatly underestimate the heat lost from the Earth to space (NASA actually MEASURED the heat lost), and CERN Institute says “climate change” models greatly underestimate the effect of the SUN, and when it is pointed out that the DIRE PREDICTIONS OF THOSE MODELS HAVE NOT COME TRUE (remember the “hockey stick” graph?)…. he calls the skeptics names in order to shut them up.
Climate change is POLITICAL “science.” The goal is CONTROL OF PEOPLE. The end result of any cap and trade system will not “save the planet,” it will just cause mass starvation and misery.
On the plus side, most of the idiots who believe this crap will end up killing each other over scraps of food, so the gene pool will be at least partially cleansed of their idiocy.

Nobody denies climate change. Any dope can look at history and see periods of warming, cooling, etc. Duh! We have terms like “ice age” for a reason.
What us “skeptics” claim is that there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE to show how much man has contributed. None. And you know why? Cause you can’t determine how much we had before because records were not kept.
Vikings settled Greenland. Hell, Greenland is named “GREENland” because it was…(wait for it)…GREEN! Not ice covered. And it wasn’t viking longships that caused global warming then, either.
Every computer model put out by the environmental whackies has been wrong. And not just a tad bit wrong…HUGE. They hide data, falsify records, and push an agenda. For a long period of time, they would not let CERN conduct experiments that promoted alternative theories. Hmm…
Time to educate yourself. Or continue as a lemming. Then again, if you were so worried about your carbon footprint, there is only one way to bring it down to zero. Chomp on that and get back to me when you figure it out.

If he is so worried about carbon emissions, why isn’t he complaining about all the pollutants that have to be released into the atmosphere when these recycling plants burn? They don’t want to build an oil pipeline because of the potential for an accident, but they don’t even consider accidents at recycling plants!
