Jon Lovitz to President Obama: Stop it With The Victim Mentality!

Actor and comedian Jon Lovitz went on the Sean Hannity Show Thursday night and proved that his well-known “bullsh*t” rant was no fluke: he has absolutely no problem with criticizing President Barack Obama’s tactics or policies.

“What I find is [the president] is hypocritical with saying, you know, ‘the 1 percent don’t get us,‘ and he’s a multi-millionaire now,” Lovitz said during his interview Hannity.

“‘You know, they’re not paying their fair share of taxes, now I‘m going over to George Clooney’s house to get money from millionaires and billionaires,’” Lovitz said, imitating President Obama, “and he collected $15 million!”

“‘Wall Street are the bad guys, but now I have to go to a dinner with Wall Street people to get money for my campaign,” Lovitz said, continuing his imitation of the president.

Lovitz then offered some advice for the president:

I just think he should, instead of making people victims of people who are successful, we should be telling people, “Look, you are having a hard time, I feel bad for you. Let‘s look at what you’re doing, let’s teach you how to succeed. Let’s give you the tools to succeed” as opposed to turning everybody into victims, a victim mentality is what he’s selling and nobody with a victim mentality will get anywhere, ever.

“They will never succeed,” he added.

people are allowed to change there minds and think more like a genious. Lovitz caught a lot of flak for voicing his opinion at his PRIVATE CLUB, which folks pay to get into, and commies critizied him for it. and he unlike others are smart enough to figure out that as a rich person, he is gonna get screwed under obama. Amen, and praise the lord! time for for mental dominos to fall together in Hollyweird, and others to put it all together so we can get rid of this AH in november. and i will be watching a Lovitz movie tonight.

While you’re watching the movie, try doing this math. The government operating costs is over $300 Ttrillion a year while revenues taken in through taxes are just over $200 Trillion. To make up for the difference, the government borrows, thus our deficit. No matter whether “the rich” were to be forced through taxation to hand over 100% of their income and their assests, it would come no where close to making up the $1 Trillion difference. By chance that it should for a single year, what would happen then? The so-called “rich” would be penniless, where would the money come from then? Would the rich be living off of entitlement programs provided by the government?
It shouldn‘t take to much common sense for even a FLATBROKE citizen to figure who’s paying the taxes for that!

Right, the gov creates a huge debt with irresponsible behavior and the citizens bear the burden. What kind of flawed ignorance is this?

It’s oppression. It’s gov choking its own people. Gov seeks to play God. They say when you play with fire you get burned. I’m waiting to see this.

After all the brew ha ha and accolades and BS, it comes down to money. Sure, it’s fashionable for the Hollywood types to say, I‘m filthy rich and it’s only fair that I pay more in taxes, but when they do the math like Will Smith figured out in a heartbeat, 75 freakin % is a lot of money coming out of their pockets! When it comes down to changing their lifestyle, forget it.

BO has been playing Lovitz character for years…”And to get my Fullbright Scholarship to Harvard, I had to claim I was from Kenya, I mean Hawaii, but I really didn’t write it down, yea, that’s the ticket, I meant I was from Hawaii but forgot how to spell it because I wasn’t a great student, I mean I made straight A’s, and Michelle…I mean Morgan Fairchild is my wife. And of course I’m a Musli…I mean I’m a Methodist
    Yea, that’s the ticket.

It’s high time Lovitz called him on it.

Jon is still in a transitional phase. This isn’t anything new, except that its being done on video. The old saying is if you‘re 20 and you’re a conservative, you have no heart. But if you’re 40 and a liberal, you’ve got no brain. Jon is transitioning to adulthood. Welcome Jon!

It is wonderful to know that there a few liberals whose brains have no been bleached free of logic. There is still hope for America when brainwashed people begin to wake up and see the truth.

Though he’s already invited the public into his thinking, he’s not ready to reveal his whole hand. IMO, he‘s not voting for Obama but isn’t yet comfortable going beyond public criticism. That’s enough for now. Plenty of other liberals would just remain quiet about any change.

Imagine that the day has come where real conservatives are starting to agree with liberals like Jon Lovitz. He’s absoultely right, but you have to wonder what he thought he was voting for in 2008? While guys like him were laughing at Joe the Plumber, we all understood exactly what was going down. Everything going on today was all written about back in 1957 by Ayn Rand. This great Youtube video says it all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0t5bgM61ULc

I have never liked Lovitz’s style of comedy. I have no idea what his politics were or who he voted for in the past….nor do I care. Regardless of Lovitz’s motive today, I’m glad the entertainment crowd is starting to catch a clue. However, I have no more interest of an entertainer‘s position on politics when he agrees with me than when he doesn’t.

yeah, look, I hate this “he’s a conservative“ ”he’s a liberal” crap… everyone keeps trying to use those labels as all encompassing, and they aren’t.

he may be a social liberal, sure, but he’s a fiscal conservative it sounds like to me.

I find most of the people I talk to are, in fact, so calling someone a conservative on financial things, when he considers himself a liberal, we’re not looking at the same thing.

As for the hollywood types, they are without a doubt, mostly social liberal. Got no problem with that, don’t see where the federal government should be getting in the middle of social liberal/conservative stuff anyways, leave that on the state level where it belongs, so we can decide for ourselves, closer to home, just how liberal or conservative we want to live in our areas.

I’m fiscally conservative, but if I accept the ‘conservative’ label, then I also have to accept all of the evangelical ******** that comes with it in the Rep party, which I find unacceptable. Same thing with the Dems. I’m socially liberal, but if I accept the ‘liberal’ label, then I also have to accept all of the big gov’t nanny statism micro-managing progressivism that comes with it in the Dem party, which I find just as unacceptable.

With all the conversations I’ve had all over the country (truck driver), most of the people seem to be Libertarian like me, but are too brainwashed by the Dems/Reps to consider the possibility.
