(Updated) Jon Stewart Baffled by CNN: ‘You’re Not Even News Anchors Anymore’

On Monday’s “Daily Show,” Jon Stewart admittedly took a break from jabbing Fox News and turned his satirical attention to CNN. What ensued was a hilarious segment that resembled Stewart’s old mockery of former CNN anchor Rick Sanchez, complete with a mash up of some of CNN’s best worst moments.

“We get so caught up watching Fox News and everything we forget to check in on the 24 hour news network that started it all — the most trusted name in news, CNN; the gold standard. What have they been up to lately?”

Here’s what Stewart found (and it involved “reporter roulette” and a cat in a bunny mask):*

Stewart seems to be closer to “getting it” when it comes to America’s problems. Funny how Howard Stern has used Capitalism and freedom to negotiate a $100M contract with Sirius/XM, but compares Glenn Beck to Charlie Sheen.. Stern, you have a lot to learn, brother..

I’m getting the “Crisis in Dairyland” Stewart segment about Wisconsin, and it is 100% FOX anchor bashing. HACKED! Guess I will have to go to YouTube to find the CNN bashing…or I could just watch cartoons on TV. Hard decision. Think I will go outside. They are all pretty good at “bashing”, and I am pretty tired of it.

I’m not sure if this is how it was initially, but when I watched it, you had to sit through a Fox bashing session prior to getting to the CNN bashing session. It was painful to watch as they took out of context sound bites and twisted it to make it seem like Fox protects billionaires and goes after teachers for making too much.

Money coming from corporations and wall street through taxes is not static. These corporations and wall street are in business to make a profit. If the margin is too small there are only 3 choices. One raise the cost of the product or service which is passed on to the cosumer the very people that are clamined to be hurt by these entities. Two lower profits this inpacts all of the stock holders which are the very people that they claim they are trying to help as most Americans are stock holders through retirement account. Or three the corporation must go out of business when they can not meet there margin. This impacts the employees which again are the people the left is trying to help. The left has only on mission and that is equal misery. A country where we are all dependent on the government without any hope of economic movment upward.

This guy could be funny if his views weren’t so off. I couldn’t even get through the clip. If guys like this got their way and taxes on high income earners, businesses and corporations were raised even higher than they already are, what incentive is there to business in the U.S.? Stewart is generous with other peoples money but, I’m willing to bet he fights and kicks (and grubs) for every penny when is comes to his own contract.

Stunning insight. That’s what I love about conservatives – so original, innovative, creative. Such a firm grasp on the elusive reins of political commentary. It’s almost as if you were a real American, just like the majority of us who support the union workers in Wisconsin. yep, it’s true. You’re in the minority, and os you are ignoring the will of the people. That’s how it works, right? If your people are the people who are the minority of the people you’re not really people at all. Certainly not real people. Sorry. But please, feel free to assist in destroying the American dream. You put it in the ground with eight years of Bush. Now you just have to cover it up with simpering victimhood.

But most AmeriKans are sadly mis-informed, brainwashed. Just look at the Blaze segment on Detroit vs Herishima, and Detroit is in ruins, thanks to 50 years of Dumbocrats in charge – all you people in Detroit can thank your Democrat progressives for bankrupting your state, and your car company empire is crippled, due to mismanagement and unionism.
