Jonah Goldberg Breaks Down During Fox Interview Moments After Breitbart News Hits

National Review’s Jonah Goldberg considered himself a close colleague of Andrew Breitbart. And in a Fox News interview on Thursday, it showed.
Just moments after the news of Breitbart’s death hit the Internet, Goldberg — who was on Fox earlier — did an interview to talk about the conservative media personality. And he broke down.
“He was one of the most fearless people I ever knew,” and emotional Goldberg told Bill Hemmer. “It’s hard news to take.”
“He truly loved the fight … One of his favorite pastimes was to retweet all of the hate that people threw at him because he considered it a badge of honor.”

Posted on March 1, 2012 at 11:35amWasn’t for him, there’s no Drudge, no Huff and Puffpo and frankly probably no Blaze. He was Drudge’s right hand man and was there at the real “Web Epiphany” with the Drudge posting the Blue Dress post, igniting the Monica scandal the MSM wouldn’t touch with not much real confirmation but gut, and he was right as rain.
Changed history, and here we are.

Posted on March 1, 2012 at 12:01pmThe Lord will just have to raise up a few more warriors. Andrew Breitbart was a man’s man, and as Jonah Goldberg has said, utterly fearless. His spirit, character and grit is what it will take to turn this country around. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and four young children and to our nation, for they have lost a good husband and father, and we have lost a warrior and a true patriot.

Report Post »For the sake of peace, I pray there was no foul play. I also pray we get the truth from the cornor. Who will be looking into this? It’s sad to think that his greatest story may well come from his own death.
Many do not realize that he started out as a liberal. Unlike the vile leftists who are revelling now, he saw his mistake and became a warrior for “truth, justice, and the American way”. He was my Superman.
Our duty now is to pick up his sword and fight on with new strength, fearlessness, and determination. God will bless Andrew Breitbart. ..rf

Andy was just breaking in to the libbie dominated Hollywood Infotainment scene, when he was tragically taken from us while still young; just like John Belushi, Andy Kaufman, and Lee Atwater were.
He could have been so much, much larger than he was! Big, really big. And he wanted Fame! Pity…
The legend will never die! His light-hearted comic antics will make us smile and chuckle for decades. When I think of him, he will fill up my heart like Elvis, JFK or John Candy would. Or Sam Kinneson.

It wasn’t his voice that created news, as he used the videos and audios of others to make the point. He is reviled as the MESSENGER of liberal hypocracy, In many cases it was easy to do…simply edit the material differently than the complicit mainstream media, showing context and statements others did not want us to see or hear. God bless you and rest in peace, Andrew, and condolences to your family. You will be missed. Who has the cajones to pick up his banner and move forward with real news?

Posted on March 1, 2012 at 7:32pmI was shocked also when I heard the news. We need every warrior we can get with the way the filthy Left fights. But I take heart in that only a few years ago all there really was, was the lonely voice of a single warrior named Rush Limbaugh. He has been telling nothing but truth for all these years. Only the truth. My how the cowardly, evil liars on the Left hated him and falsely maligned him then and still do now. They are like vampires in the light when the truth strikes their skin. They shrivel like the creatures of darkness they truly are.
But look at what the groundswell of Conservatism has spawned since those lonely, early days of Rush’s first crusades! There are tens if not hundreds of voices speaking truth to the willfully ignorant, the vile twisters of reality and the merely uninformed. I won’t mention their names because everybody has their favorites and knows well who they are. We are truly on the rise and have been for quite a while now. Look at the power of the Tea Party and what we have accomplished in so short a time. The Left continues to writhe like worms in the grass but we are rising like a Tsunami with every new iteration. With every new wave we grow stronger and like a Tsunami, our unstoppable power is hidden- appearing to be merely a ripple under the keel until it strikes the shore with such force that it just doesn’t stop. That’s why they underestimate us in their shallowness and scoff and that’s why they always will. But they will see.

When they try to enslave millions and millions of people who are used to doing and going where they want to, and therefore enslaving them doesn’t work. And the only other choice of slaves are people who are complete utter leeches on the system, and there will be no value in them either. Therefore the people who run the show will be forced to eat each other. Now that’s freedom!
