Judge in Zimmerman Hearing Sets Bond at $150,000

A Florida judge on Friday set bail in the amount of $150,000 for George Zimmerman, who is charged with second-degree murder in the death of teen Trayvon Martin.
Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester said Zimmerman would not be freed immediately, and will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device as a condition of his release. He will not be permitted to consume alcohol or possess firearms, and must observe a strict curfew.
The judge said there is a possibility Zimmerman could be permitted to leave the state as he awaits trial out of concern for his safety.
Zimmerman took the stand at his bail hearing and apologized to the Martin family, who were in the courtroom.
“I am sorry for the loss of your son,” Zimmerman said. “I did not know how old he was, I thought he was a little bit younger than I am, and I did not know if he was armed or not.”
Zimmerman has said he shot Martin in self-defense during their Feb. 26 altercation.

No person, black, white or otherwise is going to threaten my life and put me in a position such as Zimmeran was in without suffering the consequences.

Posted on April 20, 2012 at 5:44pmthe bail amount is primarily based on the charge. Second Degree murder is a serious charge, and until the Arraignment, the judge can’t throw the case out. The question is whether the Judge will actually weigh the evidence at the arraignment or let the Justice Brothers dictate whether there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial has yet to be seen.

If we had a real government and Florida had righteous politicians, the whole thing would have been judged self-defense just as the police did in the first weeks of this incident. The idea that blacks have decided that Zimmerman should ‘pay’ for the ‘outrageous idea’ that a person shot one of ‘their’s’ in self-defense shows the inequities of the United States government. This whole arrest and trial is a travesty.

This trial was taken over by the media in their race to a racism conviction. Mob rule has taken over and Mr. Zimmerman will be lucky to get out of this for under $500,000, that I’m sure he doesn’t have. Maybe he can get a book deal from CNN or CBS, to cover his expenses in something they created. If he’s smart he will look up those Duke players that the media convicted too. They probably can set him onto getting even.
Did you know that there is another ‘stand your ground’ case going on in FL? I didn’t think so, but I’m sure it’s not because it’s a role reversal in race.
