Judge Orders TSA Presence at New Mexico Prom for Student Pat-Downs

There’s a new Disney teen movie out called “Prom.” The title is self-explanatory. But what you won’t see in that movie is what one judge ordered at a real-life prom in Santa Fe, NM this past weekend: a TSA presence during pat-downs for dance-goers.
The judge’s order, however, isn’t what it seems like at first glance. Instead, it’s a little more, well, ironic. Despite the TSA’s reputation for getting frisky with travelers, the judge ordered a certified TSA official to oversee pat-downs at one Santa Fe high school in order to prevent that very conduct. That’s because students at two other local high schools filed a lawsuit alleging they were “groped” by non-TSA screeners at earlier dances.
On Friday, KOAT-TV explained the reasoning behind the order:
But when the time came on Saturday for the TSA official to show up, he didn’t. That’s not because he failed to report, but because the high school didn’t have time to comply with the order:
That the judge would order the TSA to be a part of the searches is curious. Not only did screeners come under heavy scrutiny last fall for their “enhanced pat-down” procedures, but just this spring there have been plenty of complaints levied against the agency. For example, last month former Miss USA Susie Castillo said she was “molested” by an agent in Dallas. Additionally, an agent was caught on video giving a 6-year-old girl a very thorough pat-down in New Orleans, while other pictures emerged of an 8-year-old boy receiving a similar screening in Portland.

Look at this and also the ruling in Indiana about unwarrented searches of your home. Sounds like the 4th amendment is gone, which one will be next?

I guess the biggest difference is that at least with their dates they can say “no” and they can expect at least a kiss. As for the guys, maybe it will give them a clue as to how the girls feel when they get insistent. Maybe now as soon as a girl even hints she is unwilling they will back down. Seriously, what is going on? Were it me I would just say the heck with it and stay home.

If my son/daughter spent money on prom clothes, limo, dinner, flowers, etc. for prom and they announced a pat down, I would be standing there when they arrived at the prom demanding an explantion and taking video of every move made. If there is that much concern over what might be brought into the event, then cancel it.

We gave up the last known identity we had just around the late 80′s and opted for the full on multiculture which has left us all disjointed and broken on who exactly we are and what we believe. We are a house divided against itself in all manners, faith, politics, morals, language, humanistic beliefs and so on. This can not stand and we are doomed to be taken over by those who have kept their specific identities that being mother Russia and China. Both are full of Russians and Chinese people with a common language and common belief system. America is not full of Americans it is full of its a small world cast members which in real life no country has ever tried and survived. Its a nice dream but does not take into the reality of racial hatred and the evil that stems from it. Get it!
