Just in Time For Father’s Day: JCPenney Rolls Out Two Daddies Ad

Either the “One Million Moms” boycotts have been totally ineffectual, or there’s someone in JCPenney’s marketing department that really, really enjoys messing with the group.

With its latest catalog, and just in time for Father’s Day, the department store is once again making itself perfectly clear: it has no problem with same-sex couples.

Just in Time For Fathers Day: JCPenney Rolls Out Two Daddies AdImage courtesy Gawker

The two men in the ad are “real-life dads Todd Koch and Cooper Smith,” and the two children are their kids, Claire and Mason, according to Gawker.

“First Pals: What makes Dad so cool?” reads the ad’s copy. “He’s the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver – all rolled into one. Or two.”

As hinted at in the above, this isn’t a first for JCPenney. Back in May, the department store ran an ad featuring two lesbian mothers:

Just in Time For Fathers Day: JCPenney Rolls Out Two Daddies Ad

And before that, the company hired Ellen DeGeneres as a spokeswoman. Both actions prompted protests from the conservative mothers group which, apparently, have had no impact whatsoever on the store’s advertising campaigns.

Well JC Penney was already comiing out of chapter 11 – this should finish them. They just lost myself, wife, 3 sons, 3 daughter in-laws and 4 grandsons.I hope Sears never hires Ellen Degenerate because I do love Craftsman tools. My sons hate wal-mart so they are going to Target since they always have better prices. These people don’t go to church or they sleep thru services when Q_ueers ans L_izzies are discussed from actual book chapter and verse in the Bible.

Yes, I bet everyone is perfectly willing to run to a store to buy clothing, when it is recommended by two Nancy Boys, that probably have doo doo stains on their Johnson….I’m betting those kids will see things around the house as they are growing up, that will take therapy to wipe from their minds, later in life.

“Homosexuality is your choice. I disagree with it, but I won’t condemn you for it. Just don’t flaunt it in front of my face.” That has always been my motto.

JCPennys,,,you are flaunting it in my face. I have shopped your stores for many decades. I have literally spent thousands of dollars in your stores. You just lost the privilege of my presence.

Odd, since gays comprise 3% of the population.

Oh no little Jimmy, you can’t be with Sally, no you have to find a Bobby or Freddy to play doctor with. Babies come from where you ask? From the baby farm of course, or is it the baby factory, well whatever.

You have to wonder, with the size of some of these “protected” groups, you just have to wonder if it is wise to suck up to a “protected” group while alienating a much larger “non-protected” majority. I guess JCP has a bunch of homosexuals running the show now.

You should have put a question mark after devil and left off the “of political correctness” because in actuallity homosexuals are in a dance with the devil as well as those who promote and support it and I am sure most of them don’t even know it. It is just an attempt by satan to kill the seed as he has tried to do since the beginning. Don’t worry though because in the end, God wins.

We stopped shopping JCP when they only started showing black models in all the advertising as if white people have disappeared. May family will never shop JCP again. For several years JCP refused to show Christmas decorations and told workers not to say Merry Christmas. In 2011 due to the poor economy JCP had Christmas decorations and greeters wished shoppers a happy Christmas and Holiday. Hmmm, maybe this new policy and JCP are checking out like Grants, Woolworths and others. Bye JCP bye.

Where in tarnation do you get your information from? Some church you attend where the pastor tells you how all gay people are going to burn in the fires of hell?

There are no hard numbers on percentages of gays in America. In 1948, the claim was 10%. In 1993, it was 14%. In 2000, less than 1%, then 4-5%, then 6-16%. Today with latest polling, it’s around 25%.

Now, I have no idea what percentage is, but 10% seems like a fair estimate.
