‘Keepin’ It Real’ (Part Two!): Beck, Hannity & Rush All Ridicule Report Alleging Fake Callers

Yesterday, we reported on a George Soros-funded attack on the credibility of Talk Radio’s three most successful programs: Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh.  At least three separate online stories tried to cast doubt on the veracity of these shows by speculating (incorrectly) that callers heard over the airwaves were actors, paid to read scripts in order to drive home some Conservative agenda.

The only truth in these stories:

Limbaugh, Hannity, & Beck are the most listedened-to talk radio shows in the country

Premiere Radio Networks has a service available called Premiere On-Call that provides actors for radio programs.

Crooks and Liars, The Columbia Journalism Review and Tablet Magazine all neglected to exercise the most basic journalistic common courtesy – asking the accused for a response.  Instead of seeking real answers, they printed what they wanted to believe.

Curious as to why a journalist/reporter might risk their own integrity by printing misleading or blatantly false stories, we have petitioned Susie Madrak, the author of the Crooks and Liars story as well as Liz Cox Barrett, writer of the Soros-funded CJR story.  To date we have no response to the following questions:

Why didn‘t you speak with someone at Beck’s show or his company, Mercury?

Did you ask Hannity or Limbaugh’s show if they used fake callers?  If so, what was the result?

Did you reach out to anyone at Premiere Radio Networks?  If so, what was their answer?

We reached out to Premiere and they happily answered with this statement in response to the misleading stories stating:

“Premiere On Call is not utilized by any of Premiere’s nationally syndicated talent, including Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck.  Premiere On Call is a recently launched audio service connecting local entertainment radio stations with great voice talent to supplement their programming needs. The service is not utilized by News/Talk programs or stations.”

Glenn’s Executive Producer, Stu Bruguiere, and his co-host, Pat Gray, both deny ever using actors or faking calls on the show.

Hannity himself sent me a one word reply, ‘Never.’

And Rush vehemently denied ever using actors and then explained that if it had happened, you would have heard about it by now:

    Well horse crap ! I have talked to all three over the years and i am certainly not an actor ! And what a about Mike Savage ?? Been on the phone there also, i hate when these losers start this garbage and have no facts what so ever to back it ! It is this type of fact less attacks that the left wing nut balls know best !

    Ha! Ha! If I was Rush or Sean I would be having a great belly laugh over this one. It just goes to show once again the liberal socialists are running scared. They are now grabbing for straws and hoping something will pull them out of the quicksand they are sinking in. We the People let the Obamanites that we have had enough and just watil until 2012! The liberal socialist party (formerly the Democratic Party) know only too well that their ship is sinking and now its time for whatever dirty tricks and lies they can conjure up.     Liz Cox Barrett knows most American‘s won’t follow up on their own and find out the truth. Sad, but true. I run into this problem often, even within my own family, especially young adults, who get their news from Colbert. “Beck is a radical conspiracy guy”, they say. “Give me an example”, I say. Never an answer. To be honest I had to realize that I too did much the same thing as I rarely watch or listen to very liberal stations. So I’ve started spending a small amount of time watching msnbc and also cnn. Which has led me to realize it’s worse than I thought! But it’s important to always listen to both sides, otherwise how can you make an informed analysis? Unfortunately, the damage has been done. There will be a lot of folks, who, unwilling to take the time to find out otherwise, will from on believe these men use actor’s as callers.

      You may feel this is a “non-issue”, but I disagree. The left has aimed their message at your “4yo” and teenagers for 50 years. Progressives know that young minds are mush, and if they can win the hearts of our kids, most of them will stick with “corruption” their entire life out of ignorance, stubbornness, and pride (need I mention Hollywood, Rap, Public Schools again?). I on the other hand was born a Conservative Republican, but have come to realize I’ve been wrong all my life….I should have been a radical right-wing reactionary warrior. …we all turned our heads too often and didn’t fight the corruption hard enough.
      Wasn’t it Clark Kent who always fought for “Truth, Justice, and the American Way”?? Wasn’t it “Lassie” that always had a good moral lesson in the story for our kids? Wasn’t it “I love Lucy” who always made us laugh without profanity, vulgarity, corruption, or gay rights issues? Ever wonder why we don’t see those re-runs on TV?       One thing to understand here is that Soros is playing for keeps in this war between his side and the conservatives; he has identified Rush and Hannity as two of the more dangerous opposition to his agenda. The central fact of that Glenn alone will take on Soros and his agenda, along with that of the administration and the progressives fearlessly and without hesitation, backed by facts in their own words makes him the most hated and feared of the three.

      Soros knows the only way to have a chance of winning in the end is to silence all three in any way he is able to do so, especially with Beck and FoxNews here in America. These three are the shiners of the light of Truth and Liberty to the nation and the world, revealing what is there, especially with Glenn when if I recall correctly at the beginning, he never wanted to be the messanger, yet he has become that which he has been sent in this time to become.

      Broker 0101, open your eyes to see what is going on, while there is still time.

      Beck isn’t the only one with an opinion. I have one. Why is it that the left accuses anyone who disagrees with them of being a Fascist or a Nazi? Isn’t it ironic that the only real Nazi sympathizer, who said that the year 1944, when he aided the Nazis in Budapest, “was probably the best year of my life”, is not even held in an ill-repute or accountable for what he really is, by the LEFT?

      If Beck said things that were slanderous or libelous, with the FORTUNE Soros is worth…How long before the courts would silence Beck? Soros likely has a team of lawyers that would rival the White House’s, hxll most of them are likely the same guys! Rather the only way they can silence these 3 (and others) is through shaping public opinion via a willing press and rumor mills. It is simple enough for the reporters who broke this story…provide evidence. People’s names, pay stubs, etc. They of course will not, but the vast majority of Americans only pay attention to what is led on the news…they never read the retraction on page 16 below the fold! Even if these “reporters” issue a public apology, it will not be covered with the vim and vigor of the initial story by the main stream media…hence they win the battle.

      You people really do not comprehend the contradictions and hypocrisy you exhibit when you deride George Soros. Soros is a capitalist of the highest degree, living the values of the supposed free market that you all espouse. He is free to earn and spend his riches as he wishes, yet another value that you all presumably believe in. If he did indeed make any of that wealth illegally, he should rightly be brought to justice.

      But guess what? To the extent that such laws and regulations exist that he would have to answer to, those are government-mandated restrictions on his capitalistic activities. Want to take a guess what another word for those restrictions are? You guessed it…

      Face facts. For the last hundred years or more we have lived in a mixed economy that contains aspects of both capitalism and socialism, and it is a system that has thankfully served us extraordinarily well.

He uses those regulations (many of which are the result of the activities of his “non profit” organizations) to under cut the power of Capitalism to dump out skunks like himself. As Rush says, he can predict what the left is going to do and say before they do it, because he understands the methods. Beck understands the sinister nature of the left and their organizations.       Soros also funds the Cato Institute, a conservative think-tank. Why doesn’t Beck mention this when he has their guests on his program? Why are liberal groups funded by spooky dude, while conservative groups are just experts?? The Blaze has a lot of hypocrisy, but this one takes the cake. By the way, a minority funder of a media watchdog hardly has the power to taint that group. Only crazies (Beck?) could belief such nonsense.

      As for the claim of using actors, who knows? It is certain, however, that it is hard to confront these three guys on their programs with any force since they cut you off and change the debate to avoid confronting the massive amounts of evidence on the other side. I’ve experienced this first hand. These guys are not interested in the truth, but in preserving a narrative that attracts the highest ratings in their chosen demographic.

      I look at this and others stories in the media as smoke screens thrown up to keep people from looking at the real issues at hand, getting cuts to the budget, a limit on spending, and the removal or reversal of the health care con. The real issue at hand is to eliminate the appropriations that were hidden in the health care bill. To assume that the legislators didn’t know about this when they voted for the bill calls for a gullibility of epic proportions. I sincerely hope that Sean, Glenn, and Rush, (our only real voices in the media), don’t fall for the lefts attempted sidetracking of these vital issues. Let’s face facts, the American people were duped out of their children’s money by the socialist politicians and Obama by trickery included in the bill. Our three spokesmen need to be shouting from the roof tops how the Obama administration has snookered our citizens. Don’t address any of the smoke screen issues and pay attention to the slight of hand going on!

      Do any of you looneys have any idea what the Open Society Institute actually does? I very much doubt it. The OSI was createed by Soros to help eastern European countries if the former USSR transition out of Communism and adopt the free market and democracy. You folks should be worshipping this guy! But no, instead you folks swallow all this bile from Beck, who has done nothing for democracy or for capitalism than make himself rich. Counterintuitively, all of you seem completely willing to believe:
      1) Although he was only a kid and he was hiding from the Nazis, many of you believe Beck when he claims Soros was a “collaborator.” Brave words from a rich American NOT in danger of being discovered by the gestapo and shipped off to a death camp.
      2) That the billionaire philanthropist so invested in de-communization in Eastern Europe is somehow also part of a vast American socialist conspiracy.
      This is true “up is down” stuff, and it shows just how silly Beck’s claim to research is. After all, research has absolutely no purpose if you ignore the facts or simply don’t understand what you are reading.

      Case-in-point. The Open Society contributes to the Columbia Journalism Review. This DOES NOT mean that George Soros determines the articles in the review, plain and simple. The claim that the CJR article in question here “George Soros Funded” is pathetically sad. If you were to insist on this silliness, tt would only be fair to preface any claims or arguments that Glenn Beck makes with “Rupert Murdoch Funded….” Right?
