Keith Olbermann Blasts Fox News & Host: A ‘Political Whorehouse’

Keith Olbermann, in his own inimitable fashion, has ramped up his attacks on Fox News.

During one of his “Worst Person” segments, he took the opportunity to lambast Fox anchors Clayton Morris, Allyson Camerota, and Dave Briggs for a story they did on a mother who reportedly left her children in Florida to join Occupy Wall Street. According to Olbermann, the network is a “political whorehouse.”

Among the other criticisms Olbermann had for the “Fox and Friends” hosts were that they were “the B-team to the weekday dingbats“ and that they were ”astoundingly bad.” He was upset that the anchors referred to the mother’s action as“disgusting” and that Camerota characterized the mother’s behavior as being the result of “a midlife crisis of some sort.”

“So she’s disgusting, she’s having a midlife crisis, she is denying her husband sex and is an unfit mother because she decided to get involved in something political that she believes in?” Olbermann huffed .

He then directed his comments to host Camerota, saying that she has to leave her three children 4 AM to work at the “political whorehouse that is Fox News.”

“I don’t see anyone suggesting they take her kids away,” Olbermann concluded.

It seems that Olbermann has stepped up his attacks lately. Not only did he use the “whorehouse” comment, but last week he attacked Glenn Beck and The Blaze as “helots” because of our story on Texas high school students being assigned the Mexican pledge of allegiance and Mexican national anthem.

    Who cares what he has to say.I think there is a difference between going to work and going to a protest,that is in the wrong place.It needs to be in Washington on the steps of congress and that Franks and Reids and Pelosi,and Dodds and all that vote for that bill.

    Mr. Olbermann proably knows more about “Whorehouses” than anyone else but I will decliine accepting his evaluation of Ms. Camerota and FOX news. I have never liked Ms. Camerota’s commentaries very much but if Mr. Olbermann hates her so much I will have to give more attention to her segments, thank you Keith for your recommendation!

      Olbermann reminds me of that crazy guy you see on a street corner wearing a sandwhich board and yelling something while demanding you take his flyers- and everyone walks by having a giggle or utterly ignoring him while refusing whatever he hands to you. This is Olbermann in the purgatory that is Aglore’s network. However..I‘m sure all of Olbermann’s two viewers got a thrill up their legs while reclining in their mothers’ basements after Olbermann said whatever he said..I didn‘t even bother to read what he said it’s just not very important to anyone…it’s only Olbermann.

      There’s a second way to interpret his comment. As in, Washington is an entire city of people prostituting their principles for money. In that regard, Fox somewhat fits the bill because of all of the past and present political personalities they have as contributors (Huckabee and Beckel come to mind from their current lineup, but there have been others over the years).

      I‘m not sure I’d be making that point on a network owned by a former Senator-turned-VP who grew up in DC because he inherited his Senate seat from his daddy.

      As Archie Bunker once quipped, that would be the black calling the kettle pot.

      I think the whorehouse reference has more to do with Fox picking out this woman as a representation of the Occupy whatever movement. Similar to this site which makes a point of finding and displaying the worst people they can find. This is not journalism and the reference to whorehouse is probably overly nice.

      I used to watch Olberchit just to get the far left liberal take on the issues. Then he started ragging on Bill O’Reilly. He would show clips of O”Reilly’s programs and call him names. He ragged on O’Reilly for so long that I decided to watxh Bill instead to see the lies and RW propaganda. I e-mailed Olberchit to let him know that I was now watching O’Reilly, who does not spit or call his guests names. I thanked him for guiding me to the truth. I got no response.

      Olbermans 2 viewers are Chris Matthews and special Ed Schultz. I can‘t wait till they are booted off TV and join Al Gore’s network into oblivion as well.       As much as I dislike Olberman, I have to agree with him on this. Ignoring Ron Paul was a great example. Fox tried to push their Candidates like Bachman, Perry, Santorum, and they all bombed. I used to watch Fox but quickly realized that they were no better than the rest of the Hack Media, just more dumbed down. I rarely watch broadcast corporate sponsored news. The internet is where you get true unfiltered news. Paul for 2012!!

    I’m sure that he is just carrying water for the International Left who have been trying desperately to destroy Murdoch and his news outlets ( Fox and Wall Street Journal in the US) The Labour Party in England has been on the hunt over the TNOTW phone hacking incident ( like none of the Lefty tabloids use the same tactics ) for ages and have ratcheted this up via the New York Times in the US since last July. This is all part of their War On Conservative Media Outlets, folks.       @@Jakartaman, Have you actually read any of the comments here? I’ve been to a number of TeaCon rallies and I can tell you, there are some pretty nasty things said. Oh, and then there are all of the seditious flags and posters, too. You know, the ones urging a revolution or armed resistence? Yep, one young, stupid guy crapped on a police car. He was probably arrested, but you think that he’s everybody down there. And it’s cops on video being caught being violent. But, it isn’t all of them. I didn’t see a single act of violence by police while I was there. I also heard that many of them were starting to listen to the protesters, because cops have mortgages and kids too, and they’re only a pink slip away from the street, too.
