Keith Olbermann Plans ‘FOK News Channel’ Website

Olbermann's "Fok News" logo looks awfully familiar
After abruptly leaving his prime-time slot on MSNBC and before announcing his new gig at Al Gore’s Current TV, Keith Olbermann launched “FOK News Channel” — a collection of self-aggrandizing tweets for “Friends Of Keith.”
On Tuesday evening, the former MSNBC host tweeted an announcement for his loyal 24,000 followers (FOKers?): “Proud to announce: Coming very very soon – your FOKNewsChannel website…”
WebNewser reports:
So where will it be? The early signs point to FOKNewsChannel.com, which was registered the same day as Olbermann created the @FOKNewsChannel Twitter account.
The site was registered anonymously, using the same registrar that purchased TheKeithOlbrmannShow.com a few days before Olbermann announced his departure from MSNBC.
Still, Olbermann’s tweet raises questions:
Will Current TV manage or operate the site? Or will it be independently owned and operated by Olbermann? What sort of content will it have? Will it be aggregated stories about Olbermann, or general political news and commentary?
Finally, will FOX News Channel have anything to say about it? The mock logo Olbermann uses for his Twitter handle very closely resembles the logo of the cable network.

Not a racial term at all. The word has fallen out of use due to its phonetic similarity to a certain pejorative. I love to use it in casual conversations w/liberals to gauge their reaction to it and thus their grasp of language and the extent of their vocabulary. You’d be suprised how many are unfamiliar with it and are agasp at its use. Once I catch someone in righteous indignation that is based on misunderstanding and falsehood, i don’t know, it gives me a kick.

Keith Olbermann is one of those people who, because God breathed the breath of life into his Progressive soul, I really hate to say (but will anyway), is one of those people who went away but won’t stay away.
He was rejected by MSNBC (or one of those networks that I watched only as clips in the news) and seems incapable of staying out of our faces.

If you thought he was unhinged at MSNBC, these preliminary moves sound like he’s going to be off the hook times ten. He’s going to be the big dog at a no name channel that will do little to restrain him. Now he’s starting his own fake “FOK News Channel” to boot. Can this only mean that we can expect him to become a caricature of himself, if that is possible.

Why do you want to censor me? Have you read the abusive comments from Blaze commentators (check any Frances Piven story)?
I will agree that I am trolling a touch tonight and I apologize. Usually I try to merely provide a counter-point to Glenn’s biased approach, but I do actually see Glenn and Keith as very similar in many ways!
I will try and be more civil but do not censor me because I might disagree politically! If you think what I’m doing is “abusive” then you have very thin skin or you like to quickly silence those that disagree with your opinions. Where am I wrong exactly?

That is why they say ACTIONS speak louder than words. On top of that Glenn oftentimes picks quotes from speeches when words are meant to be soaring platitudes!
He NEVER offers real-world evidence beyond quotes… He NEVER offers a competing viewpoint or open, honest debate… He has been on Fox for 2+ years and I don’t think he has ever offered another viewpoint!
He looks like Jimmy Swaggert or Jim Bakker or something. Are journalists supposed to yell the news at you?

HYPOCRALYPTIC DEUCHEPOCALYPSE is the wave of BS both Olberman and Gore spout off about and usually have incorrect or made up data to try to support their claims. Like when Gore buys a house on a beach and has a condo in Miami and then talks about how the seas are rising because of melting ice. Or when Gore says we must cut down on our carbon footprint and one of his houses uses 10 times the amount of energy as the average person in that state.

As to having guest with opposing points of view – why bother? They’d just parrot whatever the DNC/union talking point is this week regarding of how it relates to the subject at hand like they do on Hannity and O’Reilly. I do review criticism of Glenn’s viewpoint as do many of us here and find what they have to say as very weak. Sort of like your posts, my weak little troll.
