Kentucky Man Forced to Eat Own Beard in Fight Over Lawnmower

I’m sure this happens all the time. Somebody is cleaning out the stalls. Somebody is cutting the lawn. Somebody has an extra drink or two. Pretty soon facial hair is being excised and ingested:
Of all things to fight about, he said, punches started flying over a lawn mower.
“Troy offered to buy it from me for two hundred and fifty dollars. I paid twenty bucks for it. He thought I was trying to cheat him,” Westmoreland said. “One thing led to another, and before I knew it, there were knives and guns and everything just went haywire.”
He says his brother had a mark on his neck, where a knife was held. But Westmoreland’s loss was more permanent.
“They cut my beard and forced me to eat it,” he said.

Posted on November 12, 2010 at 4:19pmOkay, lets remember that this was one of the “news” stations that reported that a Rand Paul supporter just beat up an unarmed woman for no reason under the sun except that all Rand Paul supporters are violent men. The fact that she was from MoveOn.org and that there were 70 chanting, drum-beating teamsters behind her had no bearing on the story. So now we trust them, just a couple of weeks later, when they have a story about hillbilly violence. My guess is that there is more to the story.

Boy howdy! Took me right back home to our Oklahoma farm! Dang, I grew up with those kinda boys whom I love dearly. Made me laugh until I could not see for all my tears.
Readers not accustomed to hick flavoring, those drunk boys with the “knives and guns” were just funnin’ around. I know in my heart they would not have harmed those brother boys. Those drunkards were just negotiating a better price for this mower.
