King Reprimands Dem. Rep. Lee for ‘Outburst’ During Hearing

We knew that today’s Islamic radicalization hearing on Capitol Hill would probably carry with it some fireworks. They just started.
During the testimony of Los Angeles County Sheriff Leroy Baca, who’s testimony was widely praised by the Democrats on the committee who opposed the hearings in the first place, fiery Dem. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee asked Baca a passionate question about his deputies’ outreach to minority groups. When Baca mentioned that he had a Muslim officer accompanying him, Lee began clapping. That drew a stern reprimand from Rep. Peter King, chairman of the committee, which then started a back-and-forth between the two politicians which included them shouting over each other.
The money quote of the whole thing? The witness who, after the exchange, took a jab at Lee by saying, “That’s quite an act to follow:”

Why is it that Latino’s are the fastest growing minority in the US, they don’t believe in abortion because they have faith in God and believe that the killing of a fetus is against the will of God because it is God that is credited with creating the child inside the womb, yes they still believe in that philosophy because the Catholic Church is big on education.

If I personally lived in her district I would consider a different candidate the next time she is up for re-election.
