‘Kudos to You!’: Rep. Weiner Sarcastically Mocks GOP for Defunding NPR

In another epic rant from the floor Thursday, Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., unleashes his sarcasm to mock House Republicans for calling an emergency session to vote on a measure defunding National Public Radio (NPR).
“Crisis averted ladies and gentlemen, what a relief,” Weiner exclaimed. “What a relief! I’m glad we got the economy back going. I’m glad we secured our nuclear power plants. I’m so glad the Americans are back to work.”
I suppose Democrats’ battle over keeping more earth-friendly forks in the congressional cafeterias is a better use of time…?

Guess what Weiner, on Sundays here my one of my local AM radio shows does an hour of tech talk and tech support and they do very well because they offer a service people are willing to give them air-time for. Thats how the free-market system works you dolt. Er, this is a Republican bill to defund NPR… (shake it off)
Anyway…This will not save jobs or really even any money. Correct. This was a purely political move. The very fact that you cannot see that it is wrong for the government to support a media outlet, especially one that is used for political purposes, no matter what party you belong to shows me that you are an ideologue that is beyond any semblance of reason…Though we all already knew this.
Why can your party not agree that funding a media outlet is just wrong? I do not care if it is republican or democrat, it is just so unnecessary. Yet the dems are fighting tooth and nail over this! What does that say about that party? Are you really this far beyond reason?
