On Sunday, Howard Kurtz called out Bill Press for his radio comments equating Glenn Beck and his rally to “granting al-Qaeda permission to hold a rally on September 11th at Ground Zero.”
On the CNN show “Reliable Sources,“ Kurtz asked Press point blank if the comparison was ”over the top”:
You, Bill Press, said that for the Park Service to allow this rally was like “granting al-Qaeda permission to hold a rally on September 11th at Ground Zero,” Isn’t that way over the top?
Press responded, “No, I said it and I’ll stand by it.”

Posted on September 7, 2010 at 12:21pmI don’t believe that I have heard of Billy Press in years. Frankly I thought that he had retired or something along that line. I am surprised that anyone is still listening to him.

Posted on September 3, 2010 at 6:18pmThe envy of these left-wing losers is so astounding to watch. They are so jealous they most likely lay awake at night trying to think hateful rhetoric to throw Glenn’s way. Bill Press and friends are very sad little men. The biggest lie in this country is the MSM who call themselves journslists.

Posted on September 1, 2010 at 8:10amThe 8-28 rally has really shaken the mainstream media. I pray that this might mean that a new form of HONEST media will emerge via the Blaze…honest reporting/opinion forums are so needed during this time.

Posted on September 1, 2010 at 2:02amThat’s right I could have sworn that MLK just mowed people down with a machine gun after he delivered his Dream speech. He must have killed close to 3,000 people. Now I get it. All those people jumping of the building to get away from the fire only to meet their death on the ground below, oh wait, that wasn’t him. Never mind.

BTW, the media doesn’t support the left, it IS the left.

Posted on August 31, 2010 at 8:58amPress belongs on MSNBC with the rest of the easily excitable, delusional,nitwits…..There he could spout his rhetoric without bothering but a few other delusional people….How many viewers do they have left?…Maybe 29?….

Posted on August 31, 2010 at 8:35amThis is just another good reason that viewers of cnn are leaving the network for fox. Much too divisive. Their ratings are in the tank and as long as they employ or allow people like press to have a forum they will not get those viewers back

Posted on August 31, 2010 at 6:57amBill Press is irrelevant. The very definition of ironic is the fact that he said we have very few “sacred places” here in America and the Lincoln Memorial is one of them, yet he apparently doesn’t think the site of the WTC bombing is sacred at all, hence his defending the building of the Mosque. Uhm…ok.

Posted on August 30, 2010 at 11:24pmBeck’s message has hit a nerve. When they have no rebuttal they resort to name calling. First it’s racist, homophobe, islamophobe and now he’s the same as al-Qaeda? Smacks of utter desperation.

Posted on August 30, 2010 at 11:04pmThe guy at the very end of the clip -Matt- really nailed it. Too bad it cut off. The guy is just too full of pride to admit he put his foot in his mouth and they will try not to acknowledge that the event was apolitical.

Posted on August 30, 2010 at 8:53pmSo having a rally asking people to come back to God, uniting people, praying, is like al-Qaeda having a rally on 9/11? I can see that. Oh wait, no I can’t, is Bill Press crazy! Kudos for Kurtz for calling him out and making him retract/defend is statement. Too bad Press defends it and proves himself, once again, a nutjob!
