Kyrgyz Parliament Sacrifices 7 Sheep to Expel ‘Evil Spirits’

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan (The Blaze/AP) — Lawmakers in Kyrgyzstan’s raucous parliament have sacrificed seven sheep in what they call a bid to drive evil spirits out of the chamber.
Parliament press officer Shairbek Mamatoktorov said almost all the deputies attended Thursday morning’s traditional ceremony. He says meat from the slaughtered animals will be sent to homes for the elderly and the disabled.
“We decided to resort to popular customs, in order for this building not to see bloodshed anymore,” member of parliament Myktybek Abdyldayev told Reuters after the rams were sacrificed in front of the government headquarters.
The impoverished Central Asian nation’s fragile three-party coalition has descended into a flurry of squabbling. Deputies from two parties in the fragile coalition government even came to blows earlier this month and traded bitter accusations.
This month marked the first anniversary of a bloody uprising that led to the ouster of the country’s authoritarian leader.

Posted on April 21, 2011 at 4:19pmWhen the USSR fell in 1990, Kyrgyzstan was one of the satellite nations with nukes who wanted to keep them so Mother Russia would never invade them again. The diplomats came to a treaty where they did surrender their nukes back to Russia, and the US was displeased.
I wonder if those same State Dept. heads are now happy that they did give up their nukes.
This is what make Iran so scary. The idea of nuclear weapons in the hands of people to make decisions based on what the “spirits” tell them (or a long dead Iman whose ghost lives in a well) is a truly frightening thought.

If they are honest hearted, maybe they will begin to earnestly plead the Blood of Jesus that was shed not to cover the stain of sin, but to CLEANSE the stain of sin from man’s heart. One of my favorite nick-names for the being occupying our WH is Demon in Chief, or DIC for short. I was pretty sure there was something very wrong with him when he first burst on the scene, I was darn sure the first time he omitted our Creator. The look on his face told all I needed to know, he looked like he would rather blow up then say the word, and the rapid blinking was to prevent blood from squirting from his eyes is my guess! Anyone with eyes to see could see that he was perhaps even in pain having to read it on the teleprompter. No way he could actually SAY it, must have had to really practice hard to get it in the few times he actually has. I will keep praying for him… but seems a bit late for that one imo
