Posted on September 7, 2010 at 7:20amNice pics! Doesn’t it seem odd, however, that there are no blacks, hispanics, or asians pictured (save for one of the soldiers)? Is this a cross-section of America?

Posted on September 7, 2010 at 1:12pmOnly to you racebaiter’s. America is all color’s, but not all countries. Hey if you sent your picture in and it wasn’t of some sort of hatred, it would be listed as well. Question for you, why so much hatred towards your fellow Americans? Do we need to have a european male married to a African female with on Latino, one Native American, one Asian, one Middle-Eastern, one Polynesian . . . etc to make it Ok?

Posted on September 7, 2010 at 11:36pmYou can’t force people to send their pics in, friend. You only get a cross section of America if a cross section of America actually participates. The percentage of black conservatives is relatively small but growing. As time goes on, we’ll see more and more of our black conservative friends, as well as other “minority” conservative friends, becoming aware of this site and participating in these things.

Posted on September 6, 2010 at 3:33pmI love seeing the photos, but the socialistic background of Labor Day isn’t something I want to honor. So keep up with the photos. But we should always honor people that work hard and do their best in all they do no matter the day it is.

Posted on September 6, 2010 at 3:25pmI think this is a great thing to do. It anchors the site to the type of good and productive citizens that we all know is out there, but may not have been vocal or active until recently. It also reminds me of Glenn’s “you are not alone” portrait. Blaze on!

Posted on September 6, 2010 at 3:25pmI just want to say thanks to all the people that have to work today! I for one I am glad you are there! The ability to buy a pack of smokes, a six pack or to pick up a for gotten item… Is very much appreciated! Thank you! I don’t want to forget our Police… Emergency Services… Our Armed Services men and women… The people that keep the electricity flowing… I know there are many more individuals that sacrifice being with their families today so that a majority can enjoy a safe and comfortable Labor Day!

Posted on September 6, 2010 at 3:25pmHey DANGELBAGS, Too bad that the unions have become so corrupt , bloated and power mad, that the rest of us who do NOT work for unions have to bail out their retirement plans. I will never buy another US made car for that reason.

Posted on September 6, 2010 at 3:32pmD- bag, I am one of those union brothers and you do NOT speak for me.There are many, many more just like me. We have had it with the cronyism and favoritism. In fact more than half us have had it with our leadership telling us what is best for us, when it is really all about what is best for them. They do not care about the rank and file member, they only care about money and power.
Report Post »one_eyed_willie
Posted on September 6, 2010 at 3:44pmUnions have gone far past what they were first intended to be. First off if employees really want their unions to back them, then they need to throw away these huge nation wide unions, and form their own small organization within their work places. Second they need to stop their leaders from taking their retirements and donating it to these democrats who only want to fill their pockets. It is funny how these people say that the republicans are the rich and wealthy one’s, when most of the richest politicians are democrats. look it up on the huffington post if you don’t believe me. also most the (R) already made their money before being elected. the Dum Dum’s somehow came upon their money while in office. strange isn’t it……
No union should ever donate the hard worked money of their members to a political party. it is funny how we keep bailing out these unions and the exact amount they are short is pretty close to the amount they donated to the Dems. It is always nice to see these union bosses caring about the hard work that their members have put in on a daily basis.
